The best bang for the buck/price per value burger spot in all of Southern California, this currently tops my list from the 50 burger joints I have tried in SoCal alone. Parking is limited so definitely place your order ahead of time and do a pick up. Their chefs are absolute machines and are extremely fast. Edited: I really wanted to like StormBurger, but the fries are a deal-breaker for me. They call them "classic fries," but there's nothing classic about them. A classic French fry should taste like potato, oil and salt. These taste heavily coated, processed and almost artificially crisp, with a strange saline flavor that overwhelms the potato. And that's what bothers me most. A burger-and-fries meal is already an indulgence. Why take something as simple as a French fry and add extra starches, coatings and processing just to make it stay crisp longer? Commercial coated fries can include modified starch, dextrin, dextrose, rice flour, gums and other ingredients designed mainly to improve texture and holding time. That may be great for delivery logistics, but it doesn't make the fry taste better to me. I guess the good thing is, though, they don't give you very many of them, so. I guess there is a positive side, a silver lining if you will. The burger deserves a better side. Please consider switching to a simple, clean French fry: potato, oil, salt. Let the potato taste like a potato. I would genuinely come back more often if the fries changed. Sometimes simpler really is better. Customer service seems to have improved somewhat. But the fries are just not up to the standard of a great burger joint. I'm not sure what type of french fries these are, but they got some crust on the actual french fries that I think are supposed to add flavor, but they are not it. A very good smash burger spot to eat at! I got the double classic burger. It had two smashed patties along with fresh crunchy vegetables, cheese that melted and oozed from the burger and a nice stormburger sauce. The burger can be a a bit messy but it's very delicious. The fries were Cajun style and had a nice spice kick to it and fried very well! There is only standing seating to eat and it gets real busy during lunchtimes with long drive thru lines and lines for window orders. The staff was very nice and friendly, service can be a tad bit slow but the burger joint feels like your old school hamburger joint from your neighborhood. I've lived in LA for 6 years and just tried StormBurger for my first time yesterday and was so impressed that I got mad at myself that I have not tried this place sooner. It is honestly delicious! Think elevated smash burgers with high-quality ingredients. They have two locations that I'm aware of this one in Inglewood and another down in Long Beach. We chose to do drive-through and the line was fairly long, but not nearly as long as it would be for In-N-Out or other places. It moved fairly quick, but a little bit slower than the standard chain, but the wait was worth it. Service was also extremely polite and they even gave me a free drink because it was my first time. For my first visit, I chose the Double Cheeseburger, which was absolutely fantastic. It reminded me a bit of a smash burger version of Farmer Boys, but I actually enjoyed this one even more. It's definitely in my top three favorite burgers in Los Angeles. I also tried their Jalapeño Burger, which was really nice, spicy and definitely a good recommendation. Their Cajun fries were fantastic and the onion rings had a lot of flavor. Their milkshake were also terrific, you can tell they use better quality ice cream here. I am a huge In-N-Out fan but the only part about them that I don't like are their shakes but StormBurger I can say has delicious shakes and delicious food. Chef Byron I can't believe that the kitchen can't add extra ingredients into the burgers and have to serve them on the side. Not only is that inconvenient for orders that are meant to be eaten there considering no restrooms to wash up because just hand sanitizer isn't going to do it or accommodate for ADA (which I'm also). This past visit those extra ingredients were cold due to not being able to add into the burger. Disappointing to find that out at home. Either way the wife , kid and I still love the product but please situate this restroom and not being able to add ingredients into burgers. read more

Heard great things about Storm Burger and tonight I finally had the chance to try them. Some good things, some bad things, some ugly things. Good- Burger. Got the Double Storm Burger. It was pretty bomb. Juicy beef, good produce and cheese. Great bun. Really good burger! Bad- Onion Rings. They were just ok. Crunchy, but not "hot". Plus, you only get 6 onion rings in the order for $4.99. - Drive thru. Kind of a cluster. They tried their best to make it work and get people out of the street, but its just too small for the volume they do. Ugly- Deceptive pricing. Could just be me, but I ordered a Double Storm Burger, Onion Rings, and a cup of water. Most places that you go to, give you a free cup of water, OR, if they have water as an option in the "combo" they give you a bottle of water. The guy told me my total and I thought I heard him say like $15.18 or something like that. When I got my food and got my receipt, it was $18.17. I read the receipt and the dude rang me up for a "combo" with water as the drink. If you are going to charge me a combo, I would have got a soda. In my mind, I was ordering an a la carte burger and onion rings and wanting a "free" cup of water. Anyways....their combo pricing isn't even any value, it actually costs $.02 cents more. If you add a la carte double burger ($8.49), onion rings ($4.99) and a soda ($2.99) it comes to $16.47 before tax. On my receipt, the "combo" was $16.49 before tax. Its $.02 cents, big whoop right ? But why is it still more than a la carte pricing? Anyways......If you order a cup of water, make sure they don't "combo" it. Overall, glad I went. The food here is fantastic! Not only are there burgers delicious, I am absolutely obsessed with their chicken strips! They are better than any fast food, restaurants, and unbelievable find! The fries are absolutely delicious as well as their Housemade sauces. They have plenty of easy parking and our walk up only. Service was friendly and the food was ready incredibly fast. Arriving in the drive-thru, the customer service was very kind, and it went by fairly quickly for how busy they appeared to be. I do wish it came with a side sauce, though, but it is what it is lol. I like the packaging the burger comes in, as it definitely sets them apart from most burger places, and I love the uniqueness seen. I found the burger to be seasoned a bit better than the regular burger, but those Cajun fries were overly salty. the burgers and chicken strips here are bomb. i really really really love this place, and in addition to being perfectly delicious, it's also very economical and fairly priced. i think i had an order of chicken strips, storm burger, fries all for $17. i was very hungry and protein loading for a weekend backpacking trip to the top of one of the mountains in LA. they don't skimp here -- on quality or quantity. i found the chicken strips to be so juicy with a flavor that leaves you wanting to finish even when you're not hungry anymore. the breading was so crisp and maybe had cornflakes in it, and the chicken was obviously marinated if not just seasoned really well. the storm burger was a sort of smash burger with the softest bouncy brioche buns and crispy lacy edges for the juicy patty. fries weren't anything super special but they were still really good. the ranch sauce was housemade -- something to recognize. they make their own buttermilk ranch sauce obviously and ain't usin that hidden valley stuff. i appreciate that and would drink the ranch with a straw tbh. twas delish. other than ranch, they have this fruity type spicy sauce that i didn't try but maybe i'll try next time. love it! service was pretty fast and friendly, professional. it was busy during lunch time with a long line in the drive thru, but moved fast despite this. they also source their meat fresh from local inglewood businesses, along with all the other ingredients. 5 star business! read more

First impression was not great because the drive through and service was slow and just a bit irritating: we got in one side of the drive through line (it's a double lane) and watched 3 cars on the other lane come in after and move forward through the line before anyone came to take our order. The guy working the left lane seemed to be on it but the girl working the right was slow as all get out. It took us 30 min to order, get through the line and get our food.
