So I wanted some breakfast that was close by where I reside and I've heard about Egg Tuck from coworkers, so I gave it a shot today. As I entered the restaurant the aroma of the eggs, meats cooking grabbed my attention and had me curious what to try, I had their Spicy Royal West Sandwich and it was a hit. The sandwich with its fillings of Spicy Korean beef patty, melted Cheddar, veggies and over medium egg was fantastic as well being flavorful with the Sauces inside. Also with that I had their small order of Tater tots that were very crunchy. The sandwich itself was very fulfilling and had me stuffed! I would definitely recommend that place who would like a great breakfast sandwich to dine at or on the go. Also the service was great and the little restaurant was nice.
If you like eggs, you won't be disappointed by Egg Tuck's egg sandwiches. You can also order burrito options as well or eggs over fries/tater tots. I like to stick with the original/classic egg sandwich and depending on my mood with or without avocados. Signature Classic Egg Sandwich (5/5) One of the highlights to Egg Tuck's sandwich is their absolutely delicious Brioche bread that's grilled to perfection and soaked in butter giving it a rich buttery flavor with each bite. The eggs are always so fluffy, creamy, light, and well seasoned with the perfect amount savori-ness from their Signature Egg sauce and House Aioli. The fresh chives they put on top is more for aesthetics than for flavor. I never feel gross or heavy after eating their sandwiches. As for service, it takes about 10-15 minutes for them to make your order. You order at the kiosk or you can also order in-person with the staff. There are a few tables inside where you can eat at, but I think most people do take-out. If you take-out, they put your sandwich in a cardboard box and cover the top with a film so the previous eggy-goodness doesn't fall out. Staff were ok - what you can expect at a fast food place.
Food was made fresh, service was expeditious. You order at the kiosk and viola, they bring your order to you hot n' ready.
Very yummy Korean styled egg sandwich! I like getting the most basic option because they come pretty big and also pretty greasy so anything more would be hard to finish. Service was great and food came out quick.
I do not take evaluating breakfast sandwiches lightly, coming from New York, where we have the best (arguably the only) true breakfast sandys. This is the ONLY spot I've found to not only be worth getting a breakfast sandwich from when outside of NY, but actually is the best and I seek out actively to get whenever I can. The savory bread, the incredible egg sauce, and of course the fluffiest most flavorful eggs. I wish I could have this with me everywhere I went. This is truly a secret receipt worth getting every time. My hack: get the avo egg and add bacon. I ended up having that and also a regular bacon egg. Yes I had two because they're that good. Not necessarily sit down places but the most clutch thing to uber eats or door dash. You're getting it for the food and because it's delicious; everything else is irrelevant. Worth the wait. Worth the drive. Worth every penny. Every time. This sits on my leaderboard of all time greats as far as taste is concerned.
Pretty amazing scrambled egg sandwiches with excellent service. Had done in order, location in a little strip mall; not the best location but worth the drive!
Broken record warming - Why can't Yelp allow 1/2 stars?!? I wish I could give this place 4.5 stars. I got the Original, which has chives, siracha aioli, egg sauce on brioche. Very good!! Only thing better is if the chives were mixed in somehow because you get them with first couple of bites but there are none except on top. Maybe put some in the brioche pocket before putting in eggs? I also got the iced chai churro latte. Very yummy! Wife got the sweet matcha latte. Cathie wished they had an option to cut the sugar level because it is pretty sweet. All in all, very enjoyable and will be back!! Next time, have to try some bacon or maybe the Korean patty.
Okay my picture doesn't do this place justice, but everything was so amazing. I got the orange juice, and the bacon egg tuck sandwich. I loved how they toasted the bread, and it's just so fluttery with the butter taste. The tater tots that came on the side was also delicious. As I only came here to pick up and dine at home, I felt their system was pretty efficient, ordering off a screen. I just wish they had more tables/ chairs for when I need to wait.
Easy parking but no bathroom you gotta walk to whole foods. The best soft scrambled eggs I've ever eaten in the sandwich. It's slightly less delicious in burrito form. Strawberry matcha was a little too sweet for me. Overall, loved!
They weren't kidding when they said it was super messy to eat. Good thing the packed a bunch of napkins. I accidentally stumbled upon this place and it looks like it's a newer spot in West Adams just across from all the fancy new apartments on La Cienaga. I got the Egg and Ham Egg Tuck Sandwich and it was as advertised. I would say it was kind of overpriced for what it was (an egg sandwich). I would say it's worth trying once for the novelty. Service was good though.
AMAZING little brunch spot. Shout out to Richard for being so welcoming, and thoughtful! Ensuring me and son were well taken care off. Stopping by one morning after dropping off a package for delivery at UPS is the best decision I have ever made. I now stop by at least 2 or 3 times a week. Their breakfast burritos? To die for! Best I have ever had. Their tater tots? Delicious and crispy! It's a must with every order, size large you ask me!
My boyfriend and I tried this place for the first time. They're food tastes great! We wanted to try their sandwich and the burrito so we shared them and they did not disappoint. The tator tots were also amazing. The eggs are so fluffy and creamy with their sauce.
I'll try to keep the egg-puns under controlled in this review . In summary, I ordered the Avo Egg sandwich, friendly staff took my name, and in about 6 minutes my sando was ready! Took it home nicely packaged and enjoyed it semi cold so I suggest you eat it ASAP. The soft egg was just perfectly salted, the size and thickness of the sandwich is generous, except once you get to the bottom there will be about an inch of just bread left over. They cut it in such a way, leaving an inch uncut so that the soft egg does not spill out. Overall a tasty egg sandwich. I had visited their Ktown location many years ago but I've seen them expanding all over LA. This time I visited their new La Cienega location for their Grand Opening! For their first 100 customers, they were offering $1 egg sandos or burritos. My experience trying to get to this location was not great. Take patience to find parking. The cross streets of La Cienega and Jefferson is super busy during the morning commute and probably afternoon commute as well. I ended up finding street parking a block away but they do have a small parking lot shared with other businesses. Minus 1 point for the location. Great if you're walking by, walking to or from the Metro, but if you're driving here take patience. The ambience is like a fast casual food establishment with limited seating and with a view of the kitchen of the staff hustling those orders out. Congrats on your new location!
SO GOOD!! This was my first experience with Korean soft scrambled sandwiches and now I will need to have this every time I'm in LA. I got the ham and cheese, with added avocado as well as the tots. The serving sizes were huge. The bread was super soft and buttery, and the sandwich itself was FULLY loaded, to the point where is was very difficult to eat and I just used a fork to eat most of the egg on top. The price for the quality and amount of food you get is very fair. Not much seating inside, and also no restroom available for customers. Definitely a spot where most people probably order for to-go. read more

PARKING Small plaza has lots of free parking! SERVICE Ordered for pickup and had quite a wait even after the ready time. They were extremely backed up but I could see the cashier and chefs doing their best to work fast. INSIDE The inside was clean but small so there were only 3 tables. Def recommend taking Togo if you have a large party trying to dine in. FOOD I usually like getting their egg sandwiches but me and bf wanted to try their Royal west sweet burger and sunny side egg sandwich's. It was kind of burnt and overwhelming. Had wayyy too much teriyaki sauce of some sort that was extremely overpowering. The patty was way too sweet and I couldn't even taste the goodness of a sunny side up egg. I did like the brioche that was slight crispy and thick. OVERALL Would prob stick to their egg sandwiches and not the royal west one unless you want a really sweet and teriyaki filled sandwich. read more

What a great addition to the Culver City East area! Beyond eggcellent! I ended up ordering their most famous sandwich, the bacon and cheese. Thankfully, I did order the srichaha mix sauce on the side, which, despite my latin descent, I don't deal well with heat. You come to Eggtuck for the eggs, but you end up staying for that soft, delicious toast bread. It reminded my old self of that lovely bread from Sizzler, crunchy outside and soft buttery inside. It was perfect. Really excited to try out the breakfast burrito soon, as well as the tots (I used to run a website called pennyforyourtots, long since long). That said, I'm excited to have a great breakfast burrito in this part of town. Service was on point and the guy working there was really, really nice, which you don't really get that much nowadays. They still haven't had their grand opening, but it should be happening soon. Overall, left me in eggstacy! read more

Hey Cisko — we really appreciate you supporting us since day one, so…
So this is a new location right down the street from me so I decided to give this spot a try. First impression when walking in is very clean and very great service was greeted by the lady behind the register and I'm assuming the boss on the chair doing some computer work. Ordering is very simple they have a touch screen which has everything with a picture and makes the ordering process fast and easy. I ordered two things the fluffy egg tater tots and the spicy royal burrito. I must say the burrito was a little small but full of so much flavor it was amazing it left me wanting more so I hope they make them bigger because I can't be buying two of them. The taters were great as well but definitely too much food for one person. At the end I ordered a sweet iced matcha which was ok a little too milky not enough matcha. In total for all 3 things I spent about 30$ which is a little bit on the expensive side. This would have to be a treat for me not a regular breakfast spot for me Still giving it 5 stars because the food and service were great and nowadays everything is expensive. Great job egg tuck read more

Casually came across Egg tuck while I went in the wrong parking lot. This place is so clean and staff is super friendly. You can order online ahead of time, in a self check out kiosk or with someone there. They have many options and you can even customize your egg sandwich. Tater tots are also a big must have with the sriracha aioli. Food is made to order and fresh. The eggs are really fluffy. Cool little spot read more

My husband and I belovingly call this place "egg crack" because once you taste it, you can't go back to regular egg sandwiches. The egg is so fluffy, runny and so delicious! We got the ham and cheese sandwich with tater tots. They're very generous with the tater tots (which are very crispy and fresh btw) so be prepared to share. Glad they opened up on the west side! read more

Wow! This location is absolutely amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming--they walked me through the menu, explained everything in detail, and even offered great recommendations. I tried the ham sandwich, the spicy burrito, and the Biscoff coffee... all so good! The team truly made the experience even better. Service was fast and efficient, and there was even a gentleman constantly wiping down tables to keep the place spotless. Customer service is a 10/10! I am a huge egg tuck fan after having gone to the other locations. This brand-new location, however, still needs some fine-tuning with its food which is why I'm giving 4/5 instead of 5/5. I ordered the classic egg sandwich and egg tater tots. First, the eggs in the sandwich weren't as fluffy/full as you can see in the picture. But aside from appearance I felt like the eggs in both the sandwich and tots were too saucy compared to the same items I've had at other egg tuck locations. As a result, both items tasted a little too salty bc of the higher sauce to egg ratio (at least this is what I perceived it to be). But still love egg tuck and I'm sure this location will improve with time and training! read more
