Hands down one of my favorite places to stop by when I'm the area. I find myself finding a reason to come here's. It's so good fresh and on the healthier side. My go to is the grains and greens bowl! Delicious! You can't go wrong! Service is great and pretty fast considering it can't packed. There is seating inside and outside. read more

this location is my go-to cava location! i usually line up in person, rather than placing a pick-up order through the app. lines can get long during peak lunch hours (12-2pm), so sometimes, it can be a long wait! if you don't have time to wait, i'd recommend ordering through the app/website for a shorter wait. i love the various options for proteins, dips, and spreads at cava, and it's so worth the price! although, i wish they gave bigger portions, as i have been to other cava locations that will fill the entire bowl! it really is 50/50 when it comes to the size of the portions in each bowl. the restaurant has plenty of seating (both indoor and outdoor), and downtown culver city is right across the street if you're looking for a change of scenery. there are also many parking lots around the area that provide 1 hour free, so you have plenty of time to line up and enjoy your meal there. read more

Do not come here. The girl who took my order was incredibly rude. Keep in mind the restaurant wasn't even busy, so there was no reason for the attitude. Not only was she rude while taking my order, but she also went over to her coworkers, pointed at my friends and me, and made disrespectful comments about us. We were nothing but kind to her, so it was really disappointing to be treated that way. Cava, please do better when it comes to customer service and hospitality. I don't know if she was having a bad day, but that's not an excuse to treat customers with disrespect. This completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable experience. read more

Kids meal is downsized! They also changed the size of their dip scoops... 1/2 size smaller for sure!! Service was just okay they definitely weren't friendly this time. Especially not to my sister since it was her first time ordering. Outside was nice but not very clean! read more

Favorite cava spot, and as always love the variety of protein and greens as well as sauces we can choose from. Besides, their never ending innovation on next mix-ins! Awesome spots for Mediterranean bowl for sure. My fave will be their grilled chicken or harissa one, with super greens, and harissa sauce. Their fiery feta also is must have and the pita chips are not-to-skip sides. If you wanna go vegan option, their falafel certainly a must try! Service is super fast, to the point sometimes I feel pressured as ordering feel like you're rushed to make up your mind in a sec LOL. The culver outlet has nice sitdown space for dine-in while enjoying the steps. read more

AJ, thank you for your wonderful service with a smile. You patiently helped me as I got several things on the side. You are helpful and kind, and provided great customer service. This location gets hella busy on weekends and during lunch, which can be a bit frustrating because of the parking situation and if you're on a limited lunch break. But I came around 2:30 during the week and was helped right away. I ended up parking near Culver Studios on Inca so I didn't have to pay but you can also park in the lot close to Trader Joe's if you don't mind paying. read more

I love this Cava so much. Think of this as the mediterranean version of chipotle. Lots of items to pick from to make a delicious entree. The service is usually pretty fast and the quality never suffers. I usually get a salad bowl with falafel, red pepper hummus, harissa and tzatziki, all the veggies, pita crisps and tahini. The falafel is always warm and crispy. The flavors continue to complement the ingredients in my bowl. It lasts two meals and hits both times. Affordable and delicious. Highly recommend if you haven't tried it! Lots of options for vegetarians and nonvegetarians. The roasted vegetables are also a delicious main. My husband loves any of their chicken options! Definitely worth going to for your next new try. read more

We grabbed dinner here last weekend and it was moderately busy. You order at the counter and can either build your own bowl or choose one of theirs already on the menu. I got the steak and harissa bowl and my wife built her own. The bowls were tasty and fresh. The steak had good seasoning, but was just a little chewier than I usually like. My only real complaint was the portion size. My bowl felt a bit light and I left still a little hungry, which was a bummer because everything was otherwise pretty good! Prices were fine, maybe a touch high for how much food you get. Service was friendly and efficient, and they helped steer us in the right direction on our first visit to CAVA. The vibe inside was modern inside. Parking is the biggest hassle since there is no lot for the restaurant and the garages nearby start charging as soon as you go past an hour. Overall, it is a solid spot for a quick Mediterranean bowl. read more

Cava cava cava!! You are the one for me when it comes to Mediterranean. The fact that they compare cava to chipotle is an insult. It people did simple research they would notice that Cava uses fresh ingredients and no seed oils only for the pita chips! The portions!!! *chefs kiss* pita on the side? Yes! Their drink selection so goood! Try the blue berry soda is great! Staff are great always hustling and bustling. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. It's always been clean the past two visits we have gone. They work so efficiently that yea you may see a line but it moves pretty quickly. We're definitely returning as this is our new go to spot. read more

Yummy but scant. Delicious and fresh, but stingy! This is the first time I visited cava and was disappointed by the portion size. The portions of rice, greens, and braised lamb were perfect/ the same as I normally get for a bowl. But woah is me, when it came to the toppings!! I asked for tomatoes... and literally got three tomatoes. Not even a spoonful. I asked for more. Two more tomatoes were added. I decided to leave well enough alone with the tomatoes and I asked for corn. I got about one strict tablespoon of corn. I asked for more. I got a few more kernels. When it came to the rest of the toppings, it was more of the same... Now, I never finish my bowl in a single setting. Even when I'm extremely hungry. This was the first time I ate my entire bowl at once. I was not surprised given my bowl wasn't full, but i was sorely disappointed! I really wish I took a picture, but I was so ready for lunch I didn't think about it before digging in. Please encourage employees not to be so stingy when a customer asks for more of a topping... read more

What the hellyonte?? I ordered via cava app this time. I ordered a falafel mixed greens and grains bowl. The serving size is tiny compared to century city location when I ordered in person. I've learned to not order the rice at culver location bc theirs is usually mushy. I ordered full falafel and no veggies bc I wanted as much falafel as I could. Full serving of falafel was only 4 count here. Century city was 6 balls plus veggies when I ordered "half falafel and half veggie". Dissatisfied for sure. I have attached the century city bowl for reference. I had to make it my wallpaper bc it truly deserved a wallpaper. The culver one is attached so you can see the portion comparison :/ read more

I heard about Cava but hadn't had the chance to get to one with a busy schedule I have. This past Friday a close friend invited me to have lunch at Cava! It was better then what I expected! I had a delicious salad and it was so filing I went home full. The Ambiance was warm and relaxing as we sat on the patio out front. I will definitely return and invited more people I know to enjoy the experience! 10 out of 10! No pictures because I was to busy enjoying myself read more

Was visiting from NorCal and wanted to stop by a Cava as my friends from SoC have always talked about it! I downloaded the app and ordered online so that specifying what I wanted would be easier. My friends got a Harissa Avocado bowl and Greek Pita, while I made my own salad bowl. Everything was ready by the time we came to pick up. Food was definitely solid, I wouldn't be raving about it but in my opinion would definitely choose Cava over other Build Your Own options like Chipotle! My favorite things were the pita crisps that actually stayed crispy after being mixed with sauce and the skhug dressing! read more

CAVA is usually my go to place to grab lunch because it's affordable good food. However, the quality hasn't been the same. The lentils were undercooked and crunchy. It was very strange chewing fully cooked parts of my bowl and then encountering hard lentils. Usually when ordering a bowl, they will ask if you want a free side pita on the side but I had to ask for it. The pita was not warm and cold from refrigeration. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. read more

This is definitely like a Mediterranean Chipotle. It's delicious. They have wraps or bowls. I wanted to try everything but couldn't of course. What I did get was pretty interesting. Black lentils and arugula in a bowl with their glazed honey chicken and steak, a long with several toppings, mostly the spicy ones. And baba ghanouj (eggplant). It was awesome. They give a lot for a good price. It's reasonably healthy. Their taps and iced teas are all house made too I believe. If parking in the area weren't so annoying and I lived closer I'd be a regular. Well, if I weren't broke that is. read more

I finallyyyyy went to Cava after hearing about it for a while. This is literally the Mediterranean version of Chipotle, but it's so much better. I got a custom bowl and added so many goodies. The options were endless. I got a side of the garlic pita chips, and the cucumber mint drink. My food was amazing! Extremely rich, and full of flavor. I can't wait to go back. I'd probably go to the Santa Monica one, as it's near my office. My rating: 9/10. I would've given it 10/10, but it's because of the very long wait. I can understand why though. read more

Dear Management at Cava-Culver City, I am writing to formally share my recent and deeply disappointing experience at your Culver City location on 7/22/2025. Last night, my aunt and I encountered extremely rude and unprofessional behavior from two male employees--neither of whom were wearing name tags. I requested extra pickled onions, and one of them dismissively responded, "I mean, this is all we have left." When my aunt later asked for the same item, he stated, "She took them all," referring to me. She asked if there were any in the back and he said no. That was hard to believe. This interaction occurred despite the restaurant still having over two hours left until closing. I asked why he was being so rude, especially since it was my aunt's first time visiting your establishment, and she was not receiving a welcoming experience. The man at the register, who initially claimed to be the manager, spoke with the rude employee and then said, "It's something wrong with her," referring to me. A young female employee apologized and mentioned they were having a tough day, which I appreciated. As my aunt attempted to express her concerns to the supposed "manager," he continued to cut her off repeatedly, saying, "Anything else?" When I asked for the name of the rude employee, the man refused, claiming he could not provide it. My aunt pointed out that all other employees had visible name tags except those two, so the refusal felt evasive. My aunt then requested extra steak (fully aware of the additional charge), and the man refused. Once again, the young female staff member stepped in and said that extra toppings were available with an additional cost--something we were more than willing to pay. When I informed them I would be contacting corporate, the man who had earlier said he was the manager suddenly backtracked and said he was the "culinary something"--I don't recall the exact title. Regardless, the conflicting statements were confusing and unprofessional. We were the only African American customers in the restaurant at the time, aside from one staff member. While I am not quick to assume motives, the lack of respect and dismissive tone we received makes me question if our treatment was influenced by bias. Whether intentional or not, the service we received was unacceptable, unethical, and far from the standard I have come to expect--especially compared to the exceptional service I consistently receive at your USC location. Attached are the receipt and photos of the two male employees involved. I was not given the correct management information, I have had to use my own searching on Google. I hope this message gets routed to the appropriate department. I sincerely hope this matter is addressed with seriousness. Customers deserve to be treated with basic respect and courtesy--especially when raising valid concerns. Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to hearing back from you regarding the steps that will be taken to prevent this from happening. **I am posting the letter written because I can not find any corporate info for Cava online & the employees would not give any info ** read more

Terrible experience at this location. I had a pickup order and stood at the counter for 30 minutes waiting. I told staff multiple times I had an order for pickup and got no response, no acknowledgment, nothing. They literally just stared at me without saying a word. I love cava but the service today was such a big disappointment. The employee serving the food looked very unhappy. The two young ladies serving the plates were throwing the food in the bowl with no type of care. It was very disrespectful and they did it to everyone that was in front of me. I ordered brown rice and it was hard to chew on. They were out of a lot of the toppings. I am very disappointed in the service. The manager needs to do better at training the employees. read more

Love this cava location! The food is always fresh and the mobile orders are prepared quickly. The employees are friendly and they move the line quickly. The only downside is parking. Welcome to Cava in Culver City! I love the vibes of this location's area in downtown Culver City. Cava has plenty of outdoor seating, too. I am starting to appreciate the quality of the ingredients at Cava and how fresh everything tastes, such as the meat and produce. For my meal, I opted for their make-your-own bowl with double chicken, rice, and greens. I also added hummus and Tzatziki sauce to give the bowl some flavor. The price of double chicken was reasonable, ranging from $16-$18. However, the only downside was that the employees at this location seemed to be in a bad mood as the guy appeared annoyed when my girlfriend and I asked questions. read more

Gotta love Cava! I've been sleeping on this place for so long but glad I've finally tried it. It's Mediterranean Chipotle, but feels so much healthier IMO. My dietician recommended a cleaner diet with increased greens and grains, so this is now my guilty pleasure for a lazy no cook kind of day. I know some of the spreads and sauces are fatty and not the most healthy, but man that Crazy Feta is absolutely irresistible! Also, thanks to the employees for your hard work. Busy rush hour definitely looks like a tough time, but y'all keep it together with good communication and professionalism. Don't ever close, CAVA! read more

Cava has quickly become our favorite weekend lunch place! Everything on the menu is delicious and healthy. It's like a Mediterranean Chipotle, where you can choose which ingredients you want, and Cava will put it together for you. My favorite item is the Crispy Falafel Pita, while boyfriend loves the Spicy Lamb Meatball Pita. The pita bread is fresh and soft, stuffed full of delicious ingredients, like pickles, pickled onions, tomatoes, and wonderful sauces. We love them all. Our favorite drink is the Cucumber Mint Lime Lemonade. I could drink it all day, every day. You can choose your own bowl or wrap, of course, or add to their standard items, but we get the pitas as is, and they're great. Come early or be prepared to stand in a line. read more

We always love Cava and this one is no exception. I tried the Greek chicken pita and it was awesome! The pita bread tastes healthy and chewy (in a good way). The grilled chicken with yogurt and veggies (cucumber, onion) is filling and juicy. The only thing is eating pita is a bit messy as the sauce keeps dripping. Starting this review by saying I LOVE Cava. This location has juts consistently missed the mark. I've been before in person and the food is still tasty even if the location is absolutely filthy. But I'm finally writing this review after ordering Uber Eats from this location the other day. My bowl flat out was just rice and main (roasted vegetables), none of the toppings were included whatsoever. And no pita, even though I selected it in the app. They are sloppy and it's not worth it, especially to get delivery. UberEats only gave me $5 back which was not adequate compensation if you ask me. There were not other options to discuss with a person or the store. All in all, come in person if you want to brave it. Otherwise, steer clear. And let's hope the new location coming to Century City will be better!! read more

Cava - Rice bowl, no toppings included or pita - Mediterranean Near Me - Culver City, California

WOW! I love CAVA, my first time ever trying it was in Fort Worth, Texas and I was so impressed. This Culver City location however, please stay away... pessimal service! I went in with my friend on a Saturday afternoon. We walked in and there was a line by the Pick Up orders and only one person in line to order. After 4 minutes in line we wanted to leave. We watched as staff walked around confused and frustrated, clear signs of irritation due to morning shift not prepping items. As im in line my first thought was, why do I know so much about these people's shift?? It was a lot I probably would've left too but my friend had been wanting to go to CAVA since I'm always going on about it so we decided to wait 20 minutes in line. As we waited the line behind us go bigger and bigger and the Pick Up line barely moved at all. By the time it was our turn the girl making our food was so unmotivated and slow I wanted to scream. We watched her drag herself to make our food not once smiling, welcoming us, or offering suggestions to my friend who was new to the experience. When I got the register to pay I used my app for my Birthday gift and she couldn't get it to work. She totaled me out and when I mentioned I had a free item on my rewards she grew even more irritated and called her supervisor/ manager over. He was considerately more kind, and aware to his role and job and was able to finalize the transaction beautifully. It wasn't until we had gotten halfway through our meal that I realized we didn't get our complementary pita, and weren't even offered one at the beginning of building our order. We also compared the sizes of our bowls since we got the same thing on the menu, (only difference was choice of protein), and the quantity in each bowl was so different. There was no balance between both orders that were the same item on the menu. One had more grains than the other, the other had less vegetables than the other, and both of them were barely filled at all. Not only do I have the cava app, but I go to my nearest location in Carson every week for lunch since it's our company outing. This has conditioned me to understand, not only the quantities per serving, but also certain things that come included with certain meals. Let's be honest, CAVA is not cheap these meals range anywhere between $11-$30 per person! Getting mediocre servings plus horrible service is not what people pay for. Honestly, the ambience at this establishment was so draining that towards the end of our meal I had totally forgotten about the complementary pita and I really just wanted to hurry up, finish my food and go. Yesterday however, Just to compare I went to a completely different location in Manhattan Beach. This visit proved my suspicion that my experience at Culver City was nothing short of unbelievable and unacceptable. This review is not to deter anyone from trying CAVA, but to note the distasteful customer service we experienced in Culver City and to strongly warn future customers that if you're looking for a good first time experience, this location may not be your go to for that. read more

Big fan of Cava but this is my least fav location. Portions are Very small and the staff is not friendly

Ordered a bowl online and I get home to find that it's missing half the ingredients I requested. No tomatoes, no pickled onions, no cucumbers, no hummus.
