The food is AmAzInG!!! I always get there spicy chicken sandwich with there basil pesto pasta. My best friend gets the veggie sandwich with extra Cucumber and lettuce with the basil pesto pasta. The sandwiches are delicious as well as there basil pesto pasta. The most delightful thing I enjoy from them is the focaccia bread . We always get extra with there Chipotle mayo and I believe it's another dipping sauce that comes with it. The BREAD is self is really good. Service is on point. Stone Oven may be one of the very few healthy options at this food court. I had been traveling all day and came upon this place. It was a welcome sight in a sea of fried mall court food. Stone Oven specializes in Salad and Sandwiches. I was eyeing a sandwich at first, but then I came across a Mediterranean Salad with feta, olives, crushed pistachios, tomatoes and a pomegranate champagne vinaigrette that sounded really de-lish. I ordered this as well as a strawberry lemonade. I ate my meal in the food court and when I got to my table, I was pleased to find out my meal came with some piping-hot focaccia bread. It was very good and really rounded out the meal. The salad itself was good, but I think it would've been better if the components were diced smaller. I felt like everything was just a bit too big. The Strawberry Lemonade was also worth of mention because it was real lemonade with pieces of lemon pulp, not fake artificial stuff. Overall, at less than 20 bucks for the entire meal, I feel like I got a good value and a pretty healthy meal. The food and service were actually pretty good at stone oven. It's the reason I kept coming back while shopping at the mall. But whats really bothered me was the line of BS I was fed last week when I noticed that my daughter's Caesar salad didn't include the few slices of focaccia bread. Mind you she ordered just the salad with no chicken added. I found it odd so I walked up to the counter and mentioned that the bread was missing to the guy prepping orders. He straight up told me a lie to my face! He said they only include bread to salads that have protein added to them (ie chicken). Nooooo manches wey! Where in my attached picture does it say you need to add chicken or whatever to get the damn bread!? I don't know why I'm stewing over some bread. But it's the principle of the thing and the dishonesty (shakes fist in the air). I'll just eat somewhere else from now on. So yeah. Two stars for the overall experience of dishonesty but tasty food. This was located in the food court of the Westfield Culver City. Noticed that they had oven sandwiches and it looked pretty good. I tried out two sandwiches. Spicy Chicken Sandwich with Potato Salad - The sandwich was pretty bomb. the bread was toasted and the chicken was tender and was flavorful. Potato salad was good too. (4/5) BBQ Beef Brisket Sandwich with Pasta - This is the sandwich to get. Loved the flavors on this one with the beef and the side pasta was delicious. (5/5) Pretty solid fast food (only took us 3 minutes to get our order). Oddly enough the guy behind the counter said we weren't allowed to take pictures of them making it which was really confusing since what are they trying to hide lol. Stone oven sandwiches is one of my favorite places, but on Monday May 4th I was extremely disappointed when I went to buy two sandwiches and the two gentlemen were busy talking away and they had no bread made. I have never waited nearly 20 minutes for my order. The young ladies who usually work there are on top of things. I don't understand why they have people working without proper training. This is used to be my go to when I went to the mall. Best salads around. But now they switched everything up and the Mediterranean salad I use to love now has cold cubed chicken, pieces of pistachios and pomegranate dressing so it makes the whole thing sweet. I chose to make my own sandwich, pastrami, provolone, avocado, lettuce, garlic mayo, onion. I've never eaten here, and this was not a good first experience. I know pastrami is a fatty meat, but this was not good. I couldn't even chew it. I thought maybe the first bite was a fluke, so I spit it out and tried a second bite. No, the second bite was the same as the first. The side salad was nice and fresh, and the strawberry lemonade was delicious. Overall, not worth the $22 I paid for lunch. Hard pass. Also, the woman working the counter today March 29, 2026 at1:30 should be a little nicer to customers. Stone Oven has been one of my favorite food court staples for over a decade now and although locations are very scarce all over LA now I'm excited to have this one close by to fulfill my cravings whenever I want one of their sandwiches. The ladies at the front counter working today were very friendly and ensured that everything I wanted to order was prepared accordingly, they also let us try a sample of their Mango Lemonade which was really tasty. My go to sandwich is the Santa Fe Hot Ham sandwich and it never disappoints, it's packed with so many good flavors and it has enough toppings that mesh well together so that you truly taste a bit of everything. My mom joined me for lunch today and she got the Garlic and Pesto chicken sandwich, she said it was alright but it lacked a bit of flavor so we ended up having to ask for a side of sauce to add into the sandwich. Overall this is definitely one of my go to spots if I see it in a mall food court, the way they make the sandwiches in an actual stone oven makes them 100% more special and unique than any other sandwich places you would find in a mall. read more

I used to love eating here. Simple, hot, good-tasting sandwiches on pita bread (or something like it) + potato chips and fountain drink (free refills) at an excellent price. It was my go-to spot when in the neighborhood. Then one day I was in the nearest restroom, washing my hands at the sink. Who should I see? One of the Stone Oven employees. What's wrong with that? He was walking from the urinal/toilet area straight out the restroom's entrance/exit hall WITHOUT STOPPING TO WASH HIS HANDS!!!! Since all Stone Oven employees handle food, my stomach turned as I thought about how much food I might have eaten there made by unclean hands*. DON'T ORDER FROM HERE!!! You have to physically be right in front of them or your order will be wrong. I've tried 3 times and all 3 times the order was different but NEVER CORRECT. I pay extra for extra of something and it never comes or they give you whatever they want to give you. They give you the most random incorrect items. Either most of the staff can't read or it's a comprehension issue. It's not worth the price to always get incorrect, sloppy, cold food.
