Stone Oven may be one of the very few healthy options at this food court. I had been traveling all day and came upon this place. It was a welcome sight in a sea of fried mall court food. Stone Oven specializes in Salad and Sandwiches. I was eyeing a sandwich at first, but then I came across a Mediterranean Salad with feta, olives, crushed pistachios, tomatoes and a pomegranate champagne vinaigrette that sounded really de-lish. I ordered this as well as a strawberry lemonade. I ate my meal in the food court and when I got to my table, I was pleased to find out my meal came with some piping-hot focaccia bread. It was very good and really rounded out the meal. The salad itself was good, but I think it would've been better if the components were diced smaller. I felt like everything was just a bit too big. The Strawberry Lemonade was also worth of mention because it was real lemonade with pieces of lemon pulp, not fake artificial stuff. Overall, at less than 20 bucks for the entire meal, I feel like I got a good value and a pretty healthy meal. I would definitely eat at Stone Oven again and next time branch out into their sandwiches. read more

The food and service were actually pretty good at stone oven. It's the reason I kept coming back while shopping at the mall. But whats really bothered me was the line of BS I was fed last week when I noticed that my daughter's Caesar salad didn't include the few slices of focaccia bread. Mind you she ordered just the salad with no chicken added. I found it odd so I walked up to the counter and mentioned that the bread was missing to the guy prepping orders. He straight up told me a lie to my face! He said they only include bread to salads that have protein added to them (ie chicken). Nooooo manches wey! Where in my attached picture does it say you need to add chicken or whatever to get the damn bread!? I don't know why I'm stewing over some bread. But it's the principle of the thing and the dishonesty (shakes fist in the air). I'll just eat somewhere else from now on. So yeah. Two stars for the overall experience of dishonesty but tasty food. I'll miss Stone Oven but I'll spend my money somewhere else. Later. read more

This was located in the food court of the Westfield Culver City. Noticed that they had oven sandwiches and it looked pretty good. I tried out two sandwiches. Spicy Chicken Sandwich with Potato Salad - The sandwich was pretty bomb. the bread was toasted and the chicken was tender and was flavorful. Potato salad was good too. (4/5) BBQ Beef Brisket Sandwich with Pasta - This is the sandwich to get. Loved the flavors on this one with the beef and the side pasta was delicious. (5/5) Pretty solid fast food (only took us 3 minutes to get our order). Oddly enough the guy behind the counter said we weren't allowed to take pictures of them making it which was really confusing since what are they trying to hide lol. Very awkward experience but whatever food was good. read more

This is used to be my go to when I went to the mall. Best salads around. But now they switched everything up and the Mediterranean salad I use to love now has cold cubed chicken, pieces of pistachios and pomegranate dressing so it makes the whole thing sweet. I am very disappointed and probably won't be back. The only good thing was the bread and the service. read more

Stone Oven has been one of my favorite food court staples for over a decade now and although locations are very scarce all over LA now I'm excited to have this one close by to fulfill my cravings whenever I want one of their sandwiches. The ladies at the front counter working today were very friendly and ensured that everything I wanted to order was prepared accordingly, they also let us try a sample of their Mango Lemonade which was really tasty. My go to sandwich is the Santa Fe Hot Ham sandwich and it never disappoints, it's packed with so many good flavors and it has enough toppings that mesh well together so that you truly taste a bit of everything. My mom joined me for lunch today and she got the Garlic and Pesto chicken sandwich, she said it was alright but it lacked a bit of flavor so we ended up having to ask for a side of sauce to add into the sandwich. Overall this is definitely one of my go to spots if I see it in a mall food court, the way they make the sandwiches in an actual stone oven makes them 100% more special and unique than any other sandwich places you would find in a mall. read more

Stone oven sandwiches is one of my favorite places, but on Monday May 4th I was extremely disappointed when I went to buy two sandwiches and the two gentlemen were busy talking away and they had no bread made. I have never waited nearly 20 minutes for my order. The young ladies who usually work there are on top of things. I don't understand why they have people working without proper training. I chose to make my own sandwich, pastrami, provolone, avocado, lettuce, garlic mayo, onion. I've never eaten here, and this was not a good first experience. I know pastrami is a fatty meat, but this was not good. I couldn't even chew it. I thought maybe the first bite was a fluke, so I spit it out and tried a second bite. No, the second bite was the same as the first. The side salad was nice and fresh, and the strawberry lemonade was delicious. Overall, not worth the $22 I paid for lunch. Hard pass. Also, the woman working the counter today March 29, 2026 at1:30 should be a little nicer to customers. When I approached her to tell her of my issue, she responded with "well, I don't know what you expect me to do about that". Customer service is key in an industry with so many choices. I used to love eating here. Simple, hot, good-tasting sandwiches on pita bread (or something like it) + potato chips and fountain drink (free refills) at an excellent price. It was my go-to spot when in the neighborhood. Then one day I was in the nearest restroom, washing my hands at the sink. Who should I see? One of the Stone Oven employees. What's wrong with that? He was walking from the urinal/toilet area straight out the restroom's entrance/exit hall WITHOUT STOPPING TO WASH HIS HANDS!!!! Since all Stone Oven employees handle food, my stomach turned as I thought about how much food I might have eaten there made by unclean hands*. It should not surprise you to learn that I have not eaten here since. During the last few months when I still patronized this place (before the bathroom incident) it seemed like there were nothing but late-teen's/early-20's boys running the place. This place has been great every time I have visited! Yeah sure, sometimes the staff do not seem to be too enthusiastic to be working, however, the food is great! I usually get the spicy chicken sandwich with a side of potato salad. I'm not so sure what they put in that potato salad but it's definitely addicting! It's frustrating because we're paying for this food and expect to receive everything we ordered. Mistakes happen, but it's becoming a repeated issue. This was the worst salad. The small amount of avocado they put on it, and it was brown. This is the worst Stove Oven experience, other locations are not like this you actually get sliced avocado. Do not waste your $15.00 bucks. Now let's get to the customer service, Maria is the most rudest , unprofessional person. She was yelling at the younger workers and bullying them. I wanted to return the salad, however the cashier was really sweet and I can tell she was annoyed with the bully Maria ! If that's her real name. Do not eat here. After being rudely greeted by the Hispanic female worker, she then argues with me about my "pastrami order" taking to long, but I ordered 2 salads as shown below. This is in the food court at Westfield Mall. I always still call it fox Hills mall. I've never reviewed a food court biz before but this one merits one. Been here twice. Fresh salads and sandwiches. The secret weapon here is the stone oven baked fresh focaccia. All sandwiches are made with this warm fluffy goodness. I had the veggie sandwich the first time. My guy had a salad and I think I gobbled up his side of bread served with it. Served hot out of the oven. This time I got the Asian chicken salad. Fresh salad greens. Thin slices of chicken breast. Topped with almonds ahd wonton strips. Low fat thick Asian dressing is perfect. And a side of those fresh pillowy focaccia. I ordered a side to take home. Weird thing is they only let me buy one extra. Huh? If you must eat while you're shopping skip the usual places and head right here for fresh healthier eats! read more

Ordered the Asian chicken salad. It was actually really delicious!! Almost $10 and the serving was more than enough. Comes with Romain lettuce, almonds, chicken, crunches and a tangy Asian dressing on the side. Plus a piece of a fluffy bread that was amazing as well. This place is in the mall and would recommend this if you're looking for a lighter choice. I would choose this again. Just taking off a star for the 20 minute wait. read more

Food and service were great when I visited this week. I usually order the Garlic and Basil Chicken Sandwich (Grilled Chicken Breast, Swiss Cheese, Garlic & Basil Mayo, Red Onions, Roma Tomatoes, Lettuce & Avocado) with a side Caesar salad. I ordered ahead of time and my order was almost done when I arrived (~10 min after I placed my pickup order). The staff was friendly and all our instructions were followed. That's how you treat customers? At this point, this doesn't seem like a one-time bad attitude. It looks like a pattern of disrespect toward both customers and employees. Management needs to seriously address this because nobody should have to come to work or spend their money somewhere and be treated like this.

He gave her attitude and asked why. She replied that he had just touched money and hadn't changed gloves, so she'd appreciate it if he could do so before handling her food. I saw it happen too. The customer right before her paid in cash, the worker made change, then went straight back to handling food. Yuck. That's a clear health code violation. After watching him give her a hard time about a completely reasonable request, I just turned around, left, and found a pastry somewhere else.

I like to eat pretty clean and I am quite picky about my animal protein even though I am not a vegetarian. I thought I found the best option...and I DID. On the days that I want a sandwich, I will definitely return. I ordered the barbecue brisket on focaccia bread. SURPRISINGLY.. a very non bready bread and a lean meat sandwich with great flavor with yummy avocado returned. They were in the middle of filling a big order for delivery and they returned with my sandwich in a reasonable timeframe. I will be back!! read more

I don't come to this mall often, but when I do, I definitely stop by Stone Oven to have some of their foccacia bread. Its baked fresh as you order, and all their sandwiches are made w/ it and even comes w/ your salad. I wrote a review for their Topango location too, but it is review-worthy for both locations. My favorite sandwich is the Spicy Chicken and my favorite salad is the Walnut and Green Apple Salad. The walnuts on this salad are AMAZING. I usually finish the walnuts before I finish the salad. This place instantly became one of my favorite lunch spots at the Culver City mall. Their focaccia bread is beyond amazing and I can never EVER get enough of their spicy chicken sandwich with chipotle mayo and avocado! It is a little on the pricey side at close to $9 for a relatively small sandwich (hence the missing star) and small salad, but I can guarantee they will continue to take my $9 per week for a very long time. read more

I requested the corporate phone number so I could file a complaint, but the second employee acted as though she could not provide it. When the associate returned from the back of the store, I asked for the name of the person I had spoken with on the phone. She told me she did not know, even though she had been the one calling from the store phone, which made no sense to me. Overall, no one seemed willing to provide the assistance or information I needed. Because of this negative experience, I decided to cancel my subscription and I no longer wish to remain a customer.

I asked if the restaurant could remake my food since someone else had taken my order. The employee went to speak with management and later informed me that they would not remake the order. He stated that incidents involving people stealing food orders happen frequently and advised me to dispute the charge and request a refund. He also suggested that I call the kiosk's customer service number. Unfortunately, when I attempted to contact the number provided, I was unable to reach a representative or receive assistance regarding the issue. I paid for food that I never received due to the apparent theft or mishandling of my order by another individual. The restaurant acknowledged that someone else picked up the order, yet no replacement meal or refund was provided. They are scammers for real. Like at least acknowledge your wrong and make it right!! Do not order from there ever especially if someone steals your food they will not help you at all!!! Also it's in a sketchy ass spot go anywhere else but there!!
