Wandering through West LA, discovered Coffee Commissary off of Culver Blvd by surprise. This corner coffee shop had everything I needed from breakfast to lunch bites along with pastries. My latte heart was happy to see this spot use Clover Milk. The layout is nice and spacious with indoor and patio seating and lots of nooks to soak in the vibes or remotely work. The service is awesome and friendly! When I was studying for my grad program, I was absolutely obsessed with this place! It's so cute. I love the pink and the layout. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I never had an issue finding a seat, even with it not being the largest shop. They have parking in the garage and there's also available street parking. I have probably tried almost everything off the food menu, but my absolute favorite and go-to is the protein plate, and I always add a flaxseed muffin if available. Everything is always fresh and great quality. Definitely recommend if you need to get work done, a good bite to eat, or some great coffee. read more

Besides it being over priced the customer service is terrible. There are plenty places in the area that treat people with respect.

I love the coffee here, and this location has plenty of seating, which is great. That said, the service is surprisingly slow. We walked right up to the counter and placed our order, with only one order ahead of us, yet it still took about 20 minutes to receive an iced mocha latte and an iced golden milk latte. There was a lot of movement behind the counter, but it didn't seem to translate into timely service. First time coming to this place, I literally told myself why I'd kept delaying my visit here just because it's close enough. It's certainly 'one stop shop' with dedicated free parking garage, a ton of seats, moderate noise, and tons of food/drink options. I'd say the coffee was decent for making it to my regular-visit list especially if I needed a spot for working, just stepping away from my home desk. Knowing some people did hype about their chocolate chip cookie, it was another one I surely didn't skip. I came here around 8:15/20am on a Tuesday and only a couple seats/tables were taken up. They also had 1 parking spot left when I came. There's plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors and some parking in the garage but lots of street parking. I ordered a hot almond milk latte and a Angelenos burrito. Both were delicious! The prices for the burrito was a bit steep ($14) and i probably would only be open to purchasing it again if I were planning to sit down and stay for a while. I've come here frequently for their London/lavender fog which I highly recommend. As a regular to Commissary coffee around the city I am a little disturbed after todays visit. We frequent 3-4 a week so we are regulars between locations and today we placed a pick up order for food and drinks. Just 4 items in total and nothing substituted. We were there about 4 minutes to the initial pick up time as we drove 12 minutes there and my wife walked in as they cancelled the order. They rotate their single origin coffee and I usually order pour over to get the most flavor and aroma of the coffee beans but it can take up to 10 min of waiting for coffee. So if you are on the go and hurry, it is hard to order pour over coffee. But this place' daily brewed coffee are so good compare to other coffee shop that have I tried. It still has a very good aroma and district flavor profile of each coffee and not become washed up brewed coffee in a pot. Def recommend if you like a good cup of coffee. I'm a sucker for pink accents and decor so I think I was naturally drawn to this place based on the aesthetics. This is the first time I've tried the actual restaurant a few months ago. I tried this place for the first time and they only had a food truck out front before they actually open this location. The food truck is also adorned in pink accents so again I had to track it out naturally. The first time I got a breakfast burrito it was really good loved everything about that and the coffee. This time it was pretty mediocre. I wouldn't get the avocado toast again wasn't very good it's sliced avocado, not mashed, for some reason just gives a different texture, it was bland. To be frank, I stopped by because I knew that the spot had recently opened and I was afraid it was going to fail since the location isn't ideal (imo) and I'd never seen anyone inside. However...they didn't need my pity business -- the place was poppin' First highlight: they have parking around the corner Secondly: the staff is sweet and smiley. There's a bunch of seating inside and out in addition to a huge water station. I was surprised to see that the shop has been around since 2009 so this must be one of multiple locations. It appears they know what they're doing because the burritos and baked goods look delicious! I ordered the oat nog latte (iced) and with a tip it was $9. It has a cute interior and a large outdoor patio with a lot of seating, a great way to soak up some sun while also doing work! So my wife and I have been here multiple times it's a treat anytime we go cause it's 30-40 dollars for like 2 breakfast burritos. The angelano breakfast burrito has eggs you can customize on the website for delivery service what eggs you want it comes with mashed avocado cheese blanket bacon and tots with habanero salsa. It is one of the best breakfast burritos I've had in a long time and then we ordered a crossiant I don't know if it's made in house or if it's made and sent over. The burrito comes with chips I believe are homemade the habanero salsa is very very spicy and the regular salsa has a little heat but not too bad. The ambiance of this place feels like a stuck up coffee shop everybody isn't smiling no one even the employees seems to like care about anything just overall like a really weird vibe. What threw me off is when they called my name I asked for an extra habanero since they don't give you one this Mexican guy looked at the owner she was a lady and this gentleman who was working and she said yea you can give him one.
