Great service and very tasty momos! Thought the side dish of curry was the best tasting and wished they had a bigger bowl. Chicken was flavourful.

The wife and I have been craving for authentic momos and veg Monchow soup ever since we moved to Washington. I am happy to share our search has officially come to an end. Momos Factory had a very welcoming vibe and from the start we were greeted with a smile. The speed of the service was great! We got seated immediately at their most comfortable seating area. Now let's talk about the food, which by the way was mouth watering. The portion sizes were amazing for the price. Very filling! The steamed chicken momos were my wife's favorite along with the veg Monchow soup. She described as the best Monchow soup in North America and I agree with her. My favorite was the Fried Honey Chili Paneer Momos. It was really balanced. I often find places struggling to balance the veggies and paneer, but momos factory has it all figured out. The momos had the perfect amount of honey chili sauce and the paneer was not overpowering. It was the best momos I have had in North America. If you are in Delta, BC I would highly recommend trying this place out! 5 out of 5 stars If you find my review helpful please like and follow for more! Cheers!

We reeeally wanted to dine in, they were closing early for a private event, BUT they still made room for us!! Didn't even make us feel rushed, extremely great service. Food was as great as always!!

It's our first time trying Momo let alone Nepalese cuisine. With 5 such restos within our vicinity, we decided to try this place and we weren't disappointed. AMBIANCE: There this huge painting that will greet you upon entering. A closer inspection revealed it to be of a Filipino community setting. The pleasant lady worker informed us that the place used to be a Filipino restaurant and they decided to keep the painting that came with the turn over. SERVICE: They have a robot server that brings out the orders straight from the kitched but our lady server up front would still follow it to ensure that the plate is safely transferred to our table. And being new to Nepalese cuisine, she was very accommodating to answer our questions about some of the menu items. We made our orders medium spicy when asked as we weren't sure about their intensity at this place - and good thing we did. While we love some kick on some dishes, we could only tolerate that much. FOOD: 1) Chatpate ($7.99) - Now this is the bomb! It's an appetizer but seemed like an entree in terms of portion and richness of flavour. Loved the taste and the combined texture of the crunchy noodles and fluffy rice. This is worth coming back to. 2) Fried Momo Shrimp ($13.49). OK so finally we got introduced to Nepal's Momo. It came with 2 distinct dipping sauces. Their Momo wrap presentation was prettier than that of another Momo resto we tried a week later. 3) Chicken Chokta ($16.99) - is a lunch special. It has a good portion of charboiled chicken which is somewhat similar to Tandoori but with distinct Nepali spices. The chicken was such a good compliment to Chatpate, really. 4) Nepali Mashala Tea ($5.98) - it's their take of the Indian Chai Tea. My wife was pleased with it. 5) Nep-chi Combo ($15.99) - another lunch special - a vegetarian non-fried option that included Manchurian and steamed veggie Momo. Honestly, didn't enjoy this combo as much as the others.

Located in the back of a mini mall, this restaurant is a gem. Free parking and we were seated right away. I love not waiting for a table! This is a Fusion restaurant. Nepali with Asian and Indian. Prices are reasonable for drinks. I ordered a gin and tonic for $4.99 (1 shot). I will start with the momo's! We ordered a starter size and they allowed us to do half veggie and half chicken so we could try both kinds! Then to up the anty on this we had it "styled up" with a tandoori spice on the dumpling dough. It was so tasty! Highly recommend. For our main dishes, we ordered the chowmein and added prawns and the Nepali curry with chicken. The curry comes with rice or Naan. The chowmein was very tasty, great flavour. When you think chowmein you think it will be like what you get at a Chinese restaurant. This chowmein takes it way up!! The flavour was so good, I can't describe it well but it is not like you are eating noodles with a few veggies and protein. This was noodles with flavour and spice (we ordered mild). So good. The curry was also very good, different than a curry you would get in an Indian restaurant. Oh and they have a robot server! Kind of funny! My reason for not 5 stars is ambience. The table cloth had stains and holes in it and their freezers are in the main seating area. I will come back for sure to try more Nepali style food!

If you like dumplings (momo), this restaurant is worth trying if you are in the area! We stopped by for lunch over the weekend. The restaurant was somewhat busy. We were seated after a short wait. Menus and water were dropped off. We ordered a few items to try: shrimp momo, chicken momo and chicken chow mein. Food arrived after a short wait. Everything was tasty. We preferred the steamed momo over the fried momo. I liked the texture of the steamed dumpling wrapper more. There was a mild dipping sauce and a spicy dipping sauce to accompany the dumplings. The meat filling was seasoned with a mix of spices. The chow mein was good too. It was not the usual Chinese style chow mein, but had the Indian influence for flavours. The portion was a bit small for the price, but there was more than enough food for two people. There was only one server on the floor and five tables of customers. Service was slow at times, but she was trying her best running all over the place. COVID precautions were in place. Hand sanitizer was available. Staff checked for vaccine passport. Staff wore face masks.

Momos tasted good but nothing out of the world. The service was punctual and the place was decent.

We were able to find parking across from the restaurant on Gore St at the reasonable rate of $2.00 per hour. There was only 1 other table occupied during the duration of our visit. It was a table for 6. The room was nicely decorated and there is very good spacing between tables. We had a table overlooking Gore St. The service is truly exceptional. There was only the waitress and cook working when we were there. Our waitress was very good at explaining all the options to us and making recommendations. There is a very small wine list and they serve cocktails as well. We ordered a bottle of pinot grigio and our waitress poured the first glass of wine and brought an ice bucket out to chill the bottle. We shared an appetizer of yak momo. They were delicious. They are shaped like a large Chinese har gow (shrimp dumpling). They came with a nice sauce for dipping. It was nice and spicy but not too hot. For entrees I had Druk entrée - dried pork belly. It was wonderful. The pork belly was nice and crisp. It came with vegetables and wonderful bread rolls. The rolls were so good. They tasted homemade. My husband had pork tomahawk glazed with a caramel butter and topped with mango compote. It was so tender and good. The food here is really unique and different. We saw the chef come out of the kitchen and we talked to him. He offered us a complimentary glass of rice wine. When we left my husband left before I did because he was concerned that time might run out on our parking meter. When I came out of the washroom I was walking down the stairs very slowly because I had an injury to my foot. The waitress came to the top of the stairs, noticed how slowly I was navigating the stairs and came down and assisted me. This was a wonderful evening. We had a lovely dining venue, exceptional service and food and reasonable prices. I would like to explore more of the menu.

I would say the flavor profile fell around the spicy, hearty, and rich category. Some of the highlights included the yak momos, a spicy rice roll appetizer with crushed ramen noodles, and toasted sesame brittle. There was also this flaky pastry with powdered sugar that was pretty tasty as well. Service came with hopeful promises of the food taking only 10-15 minutes. Besides our small party, there was also a work party of about 20. Huge group, honestly, and we were pleasantly surprised by the time estimate. However, upon waiting an hour for our food, we decided to take our food to go. The staff were accommodating in that they helped us bag everything in 15 minutes as previously promised, but this was after an hour waiting as people in the work party were served multiple courses. I would definitely recommend coming here when they aren't hosting any functions, so perhaps call ahead to ensure you're not stuck waiting like us.

READ ITS INTERESTING REVIEW-:…read more I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for over 4 years, and what happened today was completely unacceptable and extremely disappointing. One of the owners, Mr. Bishnu, knows me very well since I've been coming here regularly for years. A few months ago, when I tried to order a plate of noodles, I was told the wait time would be 40 minutes, so I cancelled the order. After about an hour, I called back thinking the wait might be shorter, but I was told it would now take 50 minutes. I still agreed to wait and picked up the order. At that time, I left a 1-star review because of the excessive wait time, but later I realized it might have been harsh and I deleted the review. However, what happened today completely changed my perception of this place. I went there to refer a friend for a job, because Mr. Bishnu himself had previously asked me to bring her. Instead of a normal conversation, he confronted me about that old review. During the conversation he said that if I "behave like this" I will not be welcomed at the restaurant anymore -- simply because I once left a review about slow service. The attitude was extremely egoistic and disrespectful. Even when I calmly tried to explain that this is not the way you treat a customer who has been supporting your business for years, his response was shocking. His exact words were essentially: "It's fine if you don't come. It won't make any difference to my restaurant. Even Mr Bishnu used a word " I don't care and F*ck about people" Imagine telling that to someone who has been coming here for 4 years, recommending the place to friends, and bringing new customers who also continued coming. This kind of arrogance toward loyal customers is unbelievable. A business should value feedback and long-time customers, not threaten them or dismiss them because of one honest review about service delays. After today's experience, I honestly feel disrespected and unwelcome, and I would strongly suggest other customers think twice before supporting a place where customer loyalty clearly means nothing. Mr Bishnu you lost a loyal customer to SPICE OF NEPAL & KATHMANDU BAR AND GRILLfor sure. If there are lot of other customers for you , there are lot of other restaurants around.
