This spot was amazing, I loved all the variety of Asian dishes. Everything we got was incredible, I mostly enjoyed the variety of sushi and drinks. The staff were very friendly, it wasn't overly busy but I was staying at Park Centraal and I found myself eating here a few times. I recommend coming with friends if possible and sharing a variety of dishes.

Well, if you wanted a trendy chic LA Pan Asian see and be seen joint in Amsterdam, then this is for you! Beautiful people dressed to the hilt in evening wear attire having cocktails and sushi. Honestly what's not to love if that's what you're looking for. We had the tasting menu which seems the way to go vs paying more for a la cart. Some things were very nice. Some were kinda meh. The staff seemed indifferent (not friendly not mean) and they seemed short staffed (which might still be pandemic hangover). So really I would come here with a date and just have a drink and a lite bite. For a full dinner, there are many better Japanese forward places in Amsterdam.

Woot woot ... what a cool vibe. This place may be attached to a hotel, but it has some extremely good food. The crispy duck is my favorite, mind you I have never had it before but I will again! The tuna tataki was very tender and something I wish came double the portion. It was extremely well balanced with the soy sauce and the wasabi balance was fantastic. Would go again! - Forever Foodie- Ela

We had the Rouge 74 Chinese menu and enjoyed each course. We started with edamame, followed by the most beautiful and tasty sampler of dim sum. The flavors were interesting and each piece was so tasty. Our main course was Peking duck and we loved the meal. The presentation was lovely and the steamed bao buns were a nice surprise. For dessert we had a specially made cocktail to complement the mango tapioca and gelato. Superb! The most enjoyable part of our dining experience was watching the bartender craft cocktails (we sat at the bar). His attention to detail led to cocktails that were true artistry! Our cocktails were truly outstanding. We highly recommend reservations at Ron Gastrobar if you are in Amsterdam.

Normally I don't expect too much from all-you-can-eat sushi place, but the experience here is an exception. Every item was freshly prepared per order. You are not picking out half cold food from a buffet. You are picking 4 items at a time. The chef makes them with warm rice and crispy seaweed. Once you finish a round, you can pick 4 more, and so forth. I liked every item I tasted: Eel sushi Salmon (both sushi and sashimi) Tuna sashimi Grilled sea bass Wonton soup with shrimp BBQ spare ribs BBQ Peking duck The staff are very nice and attentive. There is only one Bojo Speciaal. Nestled on a cozy street with lots of action, this place has been here since the 1970s. Walking in feels like a basement grotto with faint lighting and about ten tables in two rows. You already feel at home. Their menu is the standards of Indonesia, so there are no surprises. The wait staff are young and wondered if they were interested in being waiters. The owner or manager seated us. We ordered the SATÉ AYAM which is dark meat. We also ordered VEGA LOEMPIA'S or spring rolls which were disapointing. For the main course we ordered the NASI GORENG SPECIAAL or fried rice served with beef, pickled vegetables, skewer of saté and krupuk. We also ordered SATE-RIJST (grilled skewered chicken) in peanut sauce served with rice, pickled vegetables and shrimp crackers. Both were OK. Overall, this place is above OK, but did not feel it was great. When we paid the bill, they wanted cash, not credit cards which put me in an awkward position. It was about 65 Euros for the above with a beer and a soft drink. So, this place is worth visiting but with "reservations."

The husband and I ordered some specials from their menu. I ordered the Satay platter which came with chicken, pork and lamb. DELICIOUS! The sauces they give with it, even more delicious. My husband ordered some fried rice curry dish. Not sure what it was, but it was tasty. The food did come out a bit overcooked and service was slow considering we were the only customers in the restaurant. With a bunch of Indonesian restaurants around, this one is fine and not a bad choice. But if you get out of the touristy area you can find much better options.

Staff don't bother to find tables for you; they let customers figure things out among themselves. Alright. We eventually grabbed a table after 5-10 minutes, then had our order taken 10 minutes later. The food took a long time to come out: about 40 minutes (other than 1 appy that came out after 20). Good thing it was tasty. We got: -plantain fries (€6) -- tasty, especially with the sweet dipping sauce, but you get about 8 fries, so not great value. -okonomiyaki (€12.90) -- this was wonderful. So many lovely textures, flavours, and seasoned beautifully. This was the highlight of the meal for me. -vegan plate (€18.90) -- really nicely designed plate, with a base of brown rice, with a sort of Japanese slaw, vegan chicken katsu, tempura (apparently, though I didn't notice it), and stir fried veggies. Super tasty stuff. Not the biggest portion, but not bad either. My friends each got the crispy roti wrap (€14.90), which they loved, and the taste I had was great. Overall, great food, not the best dining experience. Perhaps my experience wasn't representative. I'd go back for the okonomiyaki alone.
