This restaurant is a great choice if you are craving some Chinese food near the famous Dam Square area. It serves Hong Kong style cuisine and fairly busy establishment frequented by locals and tourists. They have 2 floors of restaurant if it gets busy so well enough to accommodate larger groups if necessary. They have a menu in Dutch and Chinese to attract the different crowds that come by. Food is pleasantly good and service is very hospitable as well. The waitstaff did recommend the duck which is very well done and their specialty. Try it with the yang chow fried rice. Location, food, service and cleanliness were all good. So give this place a chance and try it out.

The egg-rolls here are giant, delicious and full of fresh ingredients.

Lunch here was an excellent surprise. Everything we ate included a little extra special care beyond a normal Chinese restaurant. The ice tea included hand-crushed lemon, the Jasmine tea was top quality. The chicken soup was fresh, light and delicious. The egg-roll was giant and fresh. The lunch was also delicious with just the right amount of sauce. The extra effort put into everything was really apparent and we appreciated it! We will be back.

House made chili oil! Smells Smokey and spicy and packs a punch of spice!

We stumbled upon this place while looking for a ramen restaurant actually..And we are so happy we did. Greeted instantly, seated and given both a detailed menu and a picture menu (super helpful). We ordered hot tea because it was 30 degrees outside. We got the chicken corn soup and dumplings.. both amazing but I'm a huge fan of Chinese corn soup so that was my favorite. My husband ordered the streak fried rice and said it was amazing. I got the crispy fried pork with steamed rice. My dish came with a side of sweet and sour sauce for dipping. I recommend putting their house made chili oil on your rice; super spicy with a really smokey aroma. We cleaned our plates! The servers were really nice and didn't rush us to leave.

Not bad food. Customer service was great. Portions where very small. Prices where rather high for size of meal. Food was ok taste wise. But fairly bland in taste. It's ok for a late night bite to eat. But not much more.

Okay but it has cubed carrots and whole peas in the fried rice. A definite no no in my book. Egg rolls were not authentic. Meh

Roasted duck soup was great! Service was great! A nice quiet place to escape the hustle and bustle of dam street.

Another disappointing experience with restaurants in Amsterdam. Waiting 30 minutes for an appetizer. And it was empty when we got here.

The Hot & Sour soup was the only mediocre offering, but the Shrimp Toast was hot/fresh and delicious and the Roast Duck was excellent.

It's a multi-level restaurant that stays packed during prime hours, which is always a good sign for the food quality. They serve Dim Sum all day, which is a huge plus. The flavors are very traditional. While the Dim Sum was solid across the board, the Beef Chow Fun was the absolute standout--perfectly prepared with that signature "wok hei" (breath of the wok). The staff isn't necessarily warm and fuzzy, but they are efficient. Don't expect a long chat, but you'll get your food quickly. Be prepared for a bit of a climb; the restaurant spans several floors and it appears to be stairs-only. It gets very crowded, so timing your visit is key. A must-visit for Chinese food fans in Amsterdam. Just be ready for a lively, busy environment!

This particular restaurant satisfied my craving for Asian food, located next to the Red Light District. Service was very helpful and friendly, food was just as good! Was also interesting to see the Asian staff speak Norwegian also to other customers. Great place to get your Asian food fix when traveling here.

One standout dish that truly impressed me was the Kimchi Fried Rice with Shrimp & Sweet Corn. The balance of flavors was exceptional--the tangy, spicy kick of the kimchi paired beautifully with the sweetness of the corn, while the shrimp added a perfectly tender, savory touch. Every bite was vibrant and satisfying, showcasing a creative twist on a classic comfort dish. I cannot wait for an opportunity to revisit and try their duck. It smelled and looked decadent. The ambiance is equally remarkable, blending traditional elegance with a lively, welcoming vibe. Service was attentive and friendly, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. Their menu is impressively large and the dining room is small but inviting. Prices are quite high, but you are in a tourist area. We ordered a Kung pao chicken and a chicken fried rice to share. We both had a very weird 'chemical' taste that would occasionally occur with the Kung pao but neither of us could figure out what it was. The chicken fried rice was fine but contained very little chicken. My house white wine at 4.5 was fine as well as hubby had a Heineken. The biggest issue was the many Gnats that just descended on us once our wine arrived. If you zoom in on the picture, there were quite a few just hanging out after our plate we removed. We have been to many restaurants since we arrived here and this is the first with this issue. It got even worse once our food arrived. Very irritating. Service was just ok. We were here at a weird time because we are very jet lagged and trying to get on the time zone (needed dinner early). The staff were having their dinner so we felt a bit of a nuisance. Bill was about 50 euro.
