Bob F. My forecast for Molto Bene is very good with an expectation of excellent. Tim and Bruno, as well as the rest of the staff were very warm and welcoming. The service was very good even with somewhat tight quarters. Our group of friends all ordered something different and with just one exception (the lamb dish was a little underdone, and immediately addressed) everyone thought the food was excellent. It is clear that the staff needs a little bit more time to fine tune their game given the restaurant just opened. The next time we go back I know they will have many of the kinks ironed out. I hope they do very well as it is clear they are trying hard to provide an exceptional dinning experience. read more

Excellent service and food! My friend and I shared the Molto Bene salad and we each had a good amount with delicious gorgonzola cheese, walnuts and roasted peppers. They gave us a comp appetizer and even brought out a piece of ricotta cheesecake with a candle for my friends birthday at no extra charge. This was much appreciated. The food was okay. For a family restaurant the noise was as if I was at Madison square garden. For 6 people I paid almost 500 dollars. I would have much rather spent 20 dollars on pizza bagels. Food and service are both great!! I got eggplant parm, which I'm picky about, and it was delicious..definitely up to my standards. My date got chicken Marsala and he was raving about it. My friend and I share a birthday and always go out and have dinner with our family. First time going, so I was a bit nervous. Well it couldn't have been better! The rack of lamb cooked to perfection and the stuffed artichoke was delicious! I don't remember what anyone else had because the bartender was very good as well. After reading many favorable reviews four friends and I went there for dinner on Thursday, December 14, 2017, and found it to be a terrible disappointment. The space is attractive, and small, and the terrible noise level made it almost impossible for us to carry on a conversation across our table. Our waiter was rather casual about taking orders as he didn't know the prices for several of the specials, had to ask the manager, and then wandered off just as we thought he was ready. When one member of our group asked for a sauce listed on the menu for her pasta, she was informed there would be an uncharge (not indicated on the menu) in an almost belligerent fashion. My husband had eaten here with some friends and raved about It so he suggested going here on a Friday night. Service was excellent decor was nice and homey. We ordered baked clams appetizer and Caesar salad. Both were delicious. He ordered the soft shell crabs over risotto with a gravy which was one of the specials. I ordered the Chilean sea bass over spinach. Both were delicious. The place was crowded so we were lucky to be seated quickly but I was a little disappointed with how loud the restaurant got. We could barely hear each other. I know we are getting old but at a table for two... I think the restaurant should look in to something like acoustical tiles to absorb some of the sound. Is there such a thing? Lol. We will come back sometime again. read more

Superb dinner at Molto Bene in Bellmore last night . The Mediterranean salad was a special and enough for 2+ to share . The zucchini linguine was a delicious alternative to pasta . Love this cozy warm spot in Bellmore. Great Italian food and wonderful service. We have dined here several times already. The owner is very hands on and greets everyone and makes you feel that your an old friend. The fresh fish is outstanding. The whole Branzino was delicious. I came here for Christmas Eve dinner with my family and it was just the perfect evening. When you first walk in you're welcomed by Tim, the owner and his staff. Everyone is super warm and more than willing to make sure that you enjoy dinner to the fullest. We started with a seafood sampler special that had grilled calamari and octopus over a bed of arugula, crab cakes and baked clams. The seafood was super fresh and delicious. I tried the veal genovese which was super tender accompanied with risotto. People in my party also ordered the Chilean sea bass, veal ossobucco and veal saltimbocca. Everything was just superb! We finished our evening off with a bunch of desserts, cheesecake, Neapolitan cookies, chocolate mousse cake and cappuccinos.
