So, ordered from here yesterday for the first time. I think I'm far from the place so delivery took a bit, but I wouldn't fault them for that. Delivery guy was very respectful too, so that's always a plus in my book. For the pizza, I'll definitely say it's different. We ordered a plain cheese pie and a Sicilian with pepperoni. Both could have benefitted from being in the oven a bit longer- but really decent pizzas. The Sicilian was airy and the pepperoni was delicious. Sauce is a bit sweet for my liking, but it was definitely unlike any other I've had in the area (maybe ever). The plain was thin which is always a plus. I wouldn't say this is going to be my go to spot in the future, but it will definitely go in the rotation to change things up. Worth every penny and a nice switch up from my usual spot (which is franks pizza nearby). read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Today we had my daughter's high school graduation party at Red Volpe ! it housed 50 people in their aide party room- we chose buffet style- we did cash bar - and it was AH amazing ![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Salvatore (the owner) and his staff were on point ! Thirty teens plus the rest of the crowd can't stop raving about the food - chicken francais- chicken parm - vodka pasta- caesar salad- rolls - mozzarella sticks- meatballs- we got to choose what we wanted and we designed the menu ! Sal scooped italian ices for dessert and I also brought in NoFoDoCo custom mini doughnuts. I sat in the bar area and Sal made amazing drinks- blueberry smash is one of my new faves ! We also created a little space for photo back drop ! This local place is a great addition to Bethpage and cannot wait to frequent it for dinners and lunches. From the start, Salvatore welcomed us with genuine warmth, telling us he could make any pizza we wanted. He was so friendly, upbeat, and truly adorable. Red Volpe has become a favorite for our family and it seems to get better each time. Dining on Father's Day, it was the perfect way to celebrate the day. We started out with a bunch of appetizers for the table, baked clams were perfect, as were the mini meatballs. They also have some new items like beef empanadas, which were delicious and a Toasted Ceaser salad which was excellent. For the main course my husband and I got the bone-in veal chop for 2 with a spicy vodka sauce served with rigatoni, omg it was incredible. Super tender with just the right amount of heat. Just divine and a great deal for the price. Everyone enjoyed their meal which included other entrees like chicken cordon blue, rigatoni Florentine and chicken bruschetta. Also don't sleep on their cocktails, they serve a mean espresso martini. In addition, they are very kid friendly so it's a great place to dine with the family. My wife and I was just here a little over a month ago and everything was really great. Tonight we went for our Anniversary of 36 years and I'm sorry to say it was not good. Service was off and the food was just ok. We both had chicken dishes with pasta and my pasta tasted like mush and was not the same sauce as the chicken franchise as I requested and charged $3.50 additional. I have no problem with the up charge but all I got was pasta with I think maybe some oil and butter. We had a bottle of white wine and I am really upset that any restaurant could serve wine in plastic cups, this is not a BBQ restaurant it's a nice sit down Italian restaurant. Our appetizer was a fresh mozzarella that I have to say was pretty good. It's so sad that so many local restaurants are just not giving the service they need to. read more

I have to start by saying we adore the staff in here and they have remembered me and my husband since our first visit! We've tried most of their pizzas and can proudly say they are the best in Long Island. The Korean BBQ and especially unique and the bomb! Their grandma is my regular and I love their knots! Ordered 2 pies tonight for dinner. Call taker told me pizza should be at my house within 45mins to an 1hour. It was going on 1 hour and 40 minutes still no pizza. I Called the store location they stated to me they had a mix up and sent the pizza to the wrong residence with no phone call to me regarding the delay. I understood and they said the food will be at your house in 10 minutes. When the food arrived it was cold to the touch after spending 57$ on pizza. After calling the location again they were unable to refund me any type of money as you should be credited for cold pizza apparently they're not able to refund me money due to the store about to be closed. Spoke with Cesar told me he would remember my name for the next time i order my food for a discount. I'll be going elsewhere there's plenty of pizza places in Bethpage. read more

This is the 2nd time we've ordered catering from Red Volpe for a family party and when all of our guests found out it was the same food they expressed that they were so excited and were hoping it was the same from our party back in September because they'd been thinking about! Aside from the fact that the party for my Italian brother in law and sister--who are very picky about their Italian food and love Red Volpe, Sal is always so easy to work with and helpful in figuring out what to order. I took my son here with me for Gloria's karaoke one night. I'm addicted to karaoke and if I've got my son for a bunch of nights depending on the custody schedule that his dad and I work out, I find myself needing to get to a karaoke and I try to find a family friendly one. Gloria has one here every other Wednesday. I ordered a coffee, french fries for my son and these zeppole type dessert knots. The dessert knots and the coffee were so good. My son didn't touch the fries, he loves fries but sometimes I'll get them and he won't eat them so I can't say how they were. The staff was also very nice. This is a VERY EXPENSIVE place to get pizza... that being said, their pizza creations are definitely unique and are a new experience to the conventional pizza. I had the Chipotle Chicken slice, this is a big slice of pizza and it's loaded with toppings it sells for $8 (one slice). I also tried the Chicken Marsala slice ($6.50 one slice) and Bacon Ranch Chicken slice ($6.50 one slice) my second visit. So for two slices it came out to $14 and change! I would rate the pizza 8.5/10 it's a solid pizza and flavor but with those prices ayeyiyi... I had good expectations coming here seeing other reviews on Yelp, but I was very disappointed. The food was ok. My friend order a salad with a side of chicken (she specified on the side not on top of the salad). Of course the salad comes out with the chicken on top and she asked for a new salad with the chicken on the side. They brought out the same salad & left a piece of chicken in it.... Last we ordered dessert. The dessert tasted like it was sitting there for a while (tasted old and not good). We got a chocolate moose cake which didn't seem like it was chocolate moose Because it was half vanilla, half chocolate, and the funfetti cake which looked like a rainbow cookie cake (also on the menu). Tried Red Volpe for the first time on 1/14/22. Head and shoulders better than the previous pizza place that occupied this location. We tried a regular slice, upside down Sicilian, chicken Cesar slice and a chipotle chicken slice. They were all very good. Nice crunchy crust and flavorful sauce and mozzarella. The chipotle chicken slice was phenomenal. They have a bunch of tables to dine in and another portion of the restaurant is waitress service. I'll give the restaurant portion a try on my next visit. Very pleased that I had an enjoyable experience because it's located close by and the guy working the counter was very personable. Happy to see all these positive changes that made the previous place undesirable. I wish these folks lots of luck......it seems like they have a good thing going. read more

I ordered a regular slice because that was all that looked halfway decent. It had a burnt smell and taste. Obviously a dirty oven being that the slice was not overcooked at all. I really wanted to like this place, I even did research to find a new good pizza place. I drove 20 minutes to get here from Levittown and there are plenty of close by good pizza shops. I ordered a 12 inch Margherita, an 18 inch spinach and artichoke and garlic bread. Everything was mid. I tried the 18 inch first, and in my head I'm thinking a creamy slice, it's not. It's spinach, artichoke and cheese on a slice. The spinach is not nicely cooked, it's like 75% cooked? Anyway I moved on the the Margherita, which has decent flavor but nothing to make the trip for. The garlic bread is pretty stale. Everything was just okay, nothing worth coming back for. When I walked in everything looked so good, I don't know why the flavor isn't up to par. It's got a lot of good reviews, I'm willing to chalk it up to ordering the wrong stuff. First things first, this place is nice and clean on the inside, I've only had pizza from here, while it's good, in my opinion it wasn't fantastic. I got just a regular slice, and it was just okay. I've gotten a Caesar salad from here, again it was just okay. My only complaint with the salad was that it was very heavily overdressed. There was more dressing than lettuce. When I had asked for the salad when I was there, the guy at the front kind of gave me an annoyed sigh and said "we'll you'll have to wait 10 minutes", meanwhile there was only me in the place at the time lol. Back in October my husband and I visited friends on Long Island. We needed a quiet place to get some work done, so we spent a fair amount of time at the Bethpage library which is right down the street from Red Volpe. This restaurant became our go-to for lunch several times. The food is very good and the service was terrific. We tried their thin slice pizza which had an old school crust - just right. The Sicilian square slices had a tasty sauce and nice, puffy dough. One day we tried their Italian tacos with rapini and sausage and we'd order them again. We had several nice conversations with Salvatore, the owner. He's a great guy and is working hard to bring in new customers and give them a great experience. If we lived nearby, Red Volpe would be on our short list of pizza places to eat. We will definitely return when we're back in town. Support this local, family owned business.
