Mojo Ramen (Spicy Ramen - seasoned egg, bok choy, corn, scallions, spicy tonkatsu broth and topped with tender chashu pork)

Amazing spicy ramen! The pork is tender and there is a perfect touch of spice. I ordered delivery and it was packed carefully. I recommend this place.

I had a very strong ramen craving in the heart of winter and decided to give Mojo a try. I ordered the Spicy Tofu Ramen, which was good. I felt that the broth could have been more flavorful and also had more spice. They also did not have many add-ins or other vegetables that were available. I am unsure if this had to do with the day I went here, COVID stocking issues, or if their menu is normally this limited. Aside from that, I felt that this was a hearty bowl of ramen and a generously sized serving. If I were in the area I may go back, but I don't think I would go too far out of my way to revisit.

Recently opened right around Harvard Ave next to Basil Rice is mojoramen. A small restaurant with seating for 12 people and plenty of take-out orders. I was excited to see another ramen shop open, so I decided to try it out. I came here on a Saturday night and there was no one else dining in, just a few take-out orders. The place looks nice, but the ramen isn't that great. You order at the counter and seat yourself. There is a fridge with soft drinks next to the counter. The only good thing in my bowl of ramen was the pork, which had enough taste and fattiness to it. The broth was lacking and was very watered down while the noodles were also thin and bland. The bowl isn't very filling or satisfying. They also serve rice bowls, which might be a better option if you plan on checking this place out.

I've had mojoramen delivered twice (via DoorDash) and enjoyed my meal both times. They do a great job making sure that the ramen is packaged neatly (broth, noodles/toppings, and seaweed packaged separately). The Miso ramen and the Mojo ramen are both solid options. Is this the best ramen I've ever had? Maybe not. Is this a great ramen option at a reasonable price? For sure. I found the ramen broth to be incredibly flavorful, the portions were reasonable, and the fixins were ideal. The noodles are the perfect texture, but the pork is a bit on the fatty side and today it tasted as if it were cooked from frozen. I've also ordered the veggie rolls as an app. They come with four per order and are generally pretty good. Today one (of the four) came burned/charred on the outside, but hey, it happens. I will continue ordering from here as part of my quarantine delivery rotation and would recommend giving this place a shot next time you're in the mood for a bowl of ramen.

I ordered Fiery Ramen with Chashu Pork for dine in and Chicken Teriyaki Noodle take out for my friend. Fiery Ramen broth hits the spot! Spicy and creamy~It comes with juicy, tender and flavorful slices of Chashu pork, seasoned egg, cabbage, corn, scallions and seaweed yummmmm...my take out chicken teriyaki ramen surprisingly good, it has no broth but the teriyaki sauce is enough to make dish flavorful. Highly recommended!!

Stopped by this new restaurant on my way home this afternoon and ordered miso ramen and pork dumpling earlier today. The food was quite good, and the dining area is nice and clean. A good place for a quick meal for me.

Located a short hop from Harvard Business School, we chose this store over the Harvard Square as it has later hours (open until 10 pm.) The shop is a bit down in the mouth; we would suggest a reset on the interior which is brightly lit but showing considerable signs of wear and tear. Our server greeted us with a bright smile and she provided superb service throughout our visit. We started with the karaage which was nicely breaded and well seasoned - ten pieces fried crispy on the outside with moist chicken inside. The star here is ramen, of course and all of the choices feature a tonkotsu base. We both ordered the Tonkotsu Toroniku Ramen - one with a shio broth and the other with shoyu. The shoyu had a shake of hondashi which gave it a more traditional taste profile. Toroniku is particulalry delectable and not easy to find. Tender slices of cheek meat sat atop perfectly al dente noodles. We included side orders of additional toroniku and aji tama. The aji tama was done to perfection - that ideal spot between soft and hard boiled yolk. We highly recommend this shop for the quality of the ramen. We marked it down only because the interior needs a face lift. Not sure if one needs a reservation as we arrived at 9 pm and were seated immediately. For those who embrace the quest for impeccablly prepared ramen we highly recommend the Itami Juzo's classic, Tampopo. If you understand Tampopo then you will grasp the significance of well crafted ramen to the Japanese soul.

There are very few ramen restaurants in Allston, so Yukiya is a welcomed addition. I wasn't expecting to be blown away but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the ramen was as well as the curry chicken Don. The takoyaki was delicious, on point. The chicken karaage was lightly battered. I wish it came with a little mayo dipping sauce. For entree, my son had the chicken curry don. The curry was delicious. My husband ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen and I order the chicken shio ramen. I usually go for the heavy tonkotsu ramens when I dine out at ramen places but was craving a light broth this time. The chicken shio was very tasty and I actually enjoyed it more than my husband's spicy tonkotsu. The noodles were cooked perfectly how I liked it. Overall, very small restaurant. Not recommended for large groups but perfect for small families or group of four or less. I highly recommend giving them a try. See my pictures!

My friend ordered the Spicy Cold Niku Udon that I did not taste since I don't handle spicy well. Honestly the udon did not take a while to come but the servers kept checking in on us, telling that our udon was coming out soon and apologizing for the wait. They made sure our water cups were never empty; I don't think my water went below 50%. The Hot Niku Udon was honestly one of the best udon's I'd ever have. There was as lot of beef. Noodles were soft. Soup was warm. Lots of scallions. I loved the addition of the crispy tempura batter. I want to come back.

I got their famous spicy cold niku udon with an onsen egg and it was delicious. The portions were big, noodles were perfectly chewy, and the broth/sauce was great. Onsen egg was also cooked to perfection. I can definitely see the hype of this spot and would love to come back.
