Stumbled upon this place randomly with some friends, and realized I ordered gyoza on DoorDash that I absolutely LOVED! Ever since then me and my family have been ordering from Miyuki. We order all different things on the menus, from seafood to vegetarian dishes, to appetizers. I have never had any of the food dissapoint me, and always exceeded my expectations. The food is always fresh and handled with care. The staff and service is incredible, they are so kind and friendly. I really hope this place continues to do well, as it's become a big favorite of mine that I've constantly craved. My combo came with spicy tuna, yellowtail and salmon. The yellowtail and salmon rolls came with a bit of crunchy tempura, which I preferred. Even though I ordered the spicy combo, none of the rolls were spicy. The tuna was also a bright magenta color, which is definitely different from the spicy tuna I've seen at other places. I don't like to give less than stellar reviews, but I do think it's important for restaurants to avoid skimping on food. I ordered a salmon cucumber roll, a spicy salmon roll, and two salmon nigiri through GrubHub. The quality of the fish was good (which is why I'm giving three stars), but unfortunately there was not much fish--the salmon cucumber roll was mostly cucumber, and the spicy salmon roll was mostly tempura crunch. I've been ordering from here through DoorDash for a couple years now and it's always been fantastic. Miyuki is one of many sushi spots in the Brighton area, but it is certainly a solid choice! After browsing reviews on Yelp for where we should get sushi, we decided to pick up a couple of rolls based on their cash only deal. You can get three rolls for $12.95 which is a bargain. You're certainly limited to the types, but if you get more expensive rolls then it's reasonable. I went with the Boston Roll, the Mango Avo Roll, and the Idaho roll. The boston roll was good with fresh salmon, cream cheese, and cucumber. It certainly was filled with all the ingredients and hey didn't skimp on the fillings. The Idaho maki was my favorite with freshly fried sweet potato. It had a delicious sauce (eel sauce?) that definitely tied it all together. The only disappointment was the mango avo roll. It came with mayonnaise on top which it's not advertised as coming with. I hate mayonnaise so I ended up giving this roll to my boyfriend. The biggest problem here is freshness. It's not that it didn't taste fresh, but it certainly wasn't the freshest sushi. The mango wasn't as overpowering as mango normally is, the salmon wasn't as strong, and just everything tasted pretty mild. Not bad, not great, just mild. At only a little over $4 a roll for 8 pieces I can't complain though. Except about the mayonnaise, because gross. Overall this is a solid spot for cheap sushi, but if you get takeout definitely ask for extra add ins. We had three small pieces of ginger and a little bit of wasabi for 32 pieces of sushi which only lasted me through 8. I really would have liked more of everything. read more

I think they take left over pieces and blend them into some kind of tuna paste. It was strangely both gross and flavorless. We had a hard time even identifying the seafood in some of the other rolls and the only flavor came from sauces. Love their hamachi Kama, alaska maki, and they have these fried sushi appetizers that are like mini sandwiches that are good! I would like to give them more stars, but the last time we ordered from here I got the tobiko appetizer and the red tobiko was rotten. We've gotten this appetizer before with no problems, but this time it was repulsive. It had definitely gone bad. I wish I had smelled it before I took a bite. The smell was even gross. I am very disappointed that they did not check/notice that the red tobiko had gone bad... the green and black tobiko could have been bad too but I was too grossed out to try and ended up throwing it away. This food is barely edible... Ordered through Eat24 app. The excess wait times reported are accurate, as my order was an hr plus. The avocado salad is literally a spinach salad w/ half a sliced avocado. The house made (fried) rolls are flavorless, greasy & falling apart. Does the app purport meat? I hope not, as these are the ubiquitous cabbage & carrot kind. The beef teriyaki looks pale & questionable - I don't even try it. Lastly, my actual meal is premade/frozen fare. Far from orange chicken, general gau's, or whatever this is being billed as...it's frozen, breaded meat chunks drowned in an excessively sweet sauce. Not going to lie, when we first walked in this place I was not expecting it to be so small. However, the service was so accommodating and seated us right away with water and menus. We ordered all the basic rolls with a couple of specialty rolls and were so surprised when it came out on a boat!!! More of a takeout than dine in... Based on other peoples reviews, my girlfriend and I were really excited to try this place. Really the only redeeming quality was that the sushi was actually pretty good and it was cheap, but even then the sushi didn't come with any ginger or wasabi. And the crab Rangoon was cold on the inside. I was honestly really shocked that anyone was dining there and that they got a lot of takeout orders while we were there. The guys behind the counter making sushi seemed very nice and cool, but our sever was very impersonal and left our food on the window for a while before bringing it to us. We got the Yaki Udon soup and it was so hot that we had to let it cool for 5 minutes before we could even try it.
