Such good food every time they never disappoint! The vaca frita is sooooo good and the plantains with the cheese are so sweet like a dessert!! Always a great spot to go to. read more

We would like to thank the owner of Mojito for his hospitality and amazing food. My wife is Cuban and she nitpicks about her authentic Cuban food. My wife left the place was profoundly impressed with the food and would be willing to fly back to Seattle next year, just to come back to Mojito. Thank you for your great food and 1st class service, buddy. read more

Very delicious empanadas! I would give the empanada 5 billion stars! I got the shredded beef one. The entre - Parillo Mojito- was solid and yummy, but it didn't blow me away. It was a nice amount of meat though - they did not skimp on the portion sizes if that's important to you. read more

Love the Pescado en guiso, and Pabellon dishes. But 2/5 times their food will be wayyyy too salty. Last time my takeout was actually inedible. Hope to see more consistency in that aspect but otherwise love the place. read more

We love this neighborhood joint! Great food and super friendly service. We will definitely be back. Must try the empanadas and Cuban sando! read more

The service at Mojito is amazing, and the staff like Victor and Luam, are very friendly and inviting. They will come to check and make sure the food and everything is to your liking. The food is also fantastic, it is always cooked and seasoned to perfection, and the drinks are great as well. Curbside pickup is also very easy here. I highly recommend Mojito to anyone looking for flavorful Latin American food, and a great overall experience! read more

Real deal good Latin flavor. Their fish dishes & tostones are the bomb. Good Shiz!!!!!

Hole in the wall place sandwiched between Roosevelt and Lake City way. The owner is incredibly nice and the food truly unique. I had a Venezuelan dish followed by a flight of South American rum. Most dishes are gluten free and the atmosphere takes you South! read more

Mojito has consistently been one of my favorite Seattle restaurants. I've been here multiple times and have tried a variety of dishes. All of them have been fantastic. A fun and vibrant atmosphere tops it off. Highly recommended! read more

I was really pleasantly surprised by Mojito. The food was absolutely delicious and the people were very nice! I had a chicken empanada (absolutely to-die-for) and the Pescado Mojito (also amazing!). I'm looking for an excuse to return soon and try something new off the menu. I highly recommend! read more

I've visited this restaurant multiple times, so this is a thoroughly researched review! The food and drinks are incredible. I always order the mojito (a full lime in each!). I've had several of the other dishes on the menu, and everything has been amazing so far. The plantain app is just enough for two to split, and the entrees are large enough to take some home. The food can be a little costly, but it's worth it for the authentic flavors and cooking styles. The meat in particular is clearly slow cooked and marinated for long periods of time. Pabellón is my favorite dish so far! The only downside is that the wait staff doesn't seem to assign tables. Instead, they both check in with everyone. This leads to them checking in a LOT since they double up. It makes keeping up conversation kind of difficult. The food can also take a while to get to the table, but this doesn't bother me too much here since the atmosphere is laid back and the food never takes more than 20-30 min. All in all, the food is worth the cost and wait - go here and try it out! read more

Great menu, great food and the tres leches is amazing. Wish they had a little more variety sometimes but they are still one of our go-to places in the neighborhood. read more

Food here is so good I can't hold a grudge. Just gonna avoid going on summer weekends from now on.

We've been going here for 10 years and it never fails to surpass our expectations. Fantastic food and delicious drinks as well as incredible ownership and customer experience. Victor was very welcoming and truly made it special! read more

Excellent food, good service and good atmosphere. The waitress might forget something when it's busy but was kind and prompt when we reminded her. If the food is good and the people are nice, a missed item is not a big deal to me. It felt comfortable and relaxed as I was able to have a long dinner and catch up with a friend over some amazing food. read more

Upon reading reviews of many Yelpers I found that for this type of cuisine, this was the place to check out. Located on the corner of Lake City Way, this was the perfect spot for a late lunch with our kids. As we arrived, we were greeted by the owner who made us feel like at home. Suddenly I felt nostalgia and missed that feeling in the SF Bay Area. It was nice to travel many miles north to dine at a place where you can just talk to the owner, like old buddies growing up together. To add to the amazing experience here, everything we've ordered was the best we've eaten on our entire trip throughout Washington. I even ate all the olives on my dish, and I don't even like olives. Need dish recommendations? Try everything! We tried like 1/4 of the menu and they were all good with variations of flavor. Then having not drink in a long time as well, I decided why not order the Caipirinha. Of course, that tipped me out a bit too early in the day but I made sure my husband was the sober one this time. Interestingly, I was watching the couple across from us eating nothing but ordering cocktails nonstop. By the time we finished eating, they were already on their 6th round. Simply amazing to watch! I mean it was a nice sunny day on the patio, it's so hard to say no to a good cocktail. In conclusion, don't leave Washington (if you're a visitor) without trying this place out! Locals know this place is a gem. Big hugs and props to the owner for keeping it so real! read more

El Mojito sandwich was pretty good. Love the pork Arepas. I will order again The coffee is pricey and they give you a small. The steak plate is also good! read more

Going to Mojito is the definition of a great time. The staff is kind, friendly, and exciting. Despite the intimate kitchen, the food comes out fast and is delicious! Every time we go, it feels like a neighborhood hotspot and the smaller atmosphere truly embodies a community. Couldn't recommend it more. And special shout-out to our server -- Victor is truly the best!! read more

I'm not usually one to write reviews, but after ordering from this place, I felt like I just had to. I'm a huge fan of Cuban sandwiches and I cook mojo pork at home a lot. The sandwich I just had delivered from Mojito was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life. Super simple, just like it should be, but that pork is unreal. And for $10?! Get out! I feel like food-delivery is usually a pretty poor representation of what restaurants are really capable of. If that's the case, I can't wait to try this served fresh in the restaurant. Now is a good time to support local businesses and order delivery or takeout. I HIGHLY recommend ordering from here. read more

Amazing food! We had salads with a super yummy special Mojito dressing, empanadas were fantastic (we got cheese), and shared the Camarones Carmen Miranda that came with tostones. Definitely coming back here to check out other menu items. It's a tiny place so you need to come early or be patient with seating. Plenty of parking and staff was very nice and accommodating. read more

Best food in Seattle! All the staff are so friendly. Place is clean, drinks are great!

As we were walking up we were immediately welcomed by the owner, who made us feel so welcomed. Once seated the staff was kind and efficient and the food was out of this world. So much flavor, so filling and delicious, but did not feel heavy at all. A warm, cozy deliciousness evening and we will be back read more

Everything was delicious but the congrí and the white rice. The congrí was not well made and was not seasoned the way its suppose to be. The rice is just too soft. They add to much water on the rice and it makes it seem like you're eating Asian rice. Hispanic rice is made with less water. The rice needs to be more grainy. And also the fries needed to be fried a little better, they came off very soggy. I will go back for the empanadas and the arepas those were very delicious. read more

Great food, but we're big fans of Bongos' sandwiches, so Bongos will remain our go-to. I wish this place would offer sandwiches for their delicious meats, then maybe they could compete. I do like their rice and beans better than Bongos'. More flavorful and I like them mixed together. read more

Some of the stuff still tastes like home here but thought I would update my review now that I've been here in person. I should preface by saying that I'm from south Florida (big Hispanic community) and I am also Hispanic -- therefore, I have eaten A LOT of Hispanic food. Specifically, coming from Colombian/Venezuelan parents, I was a little nervous about the food being underwhelming here. Overall, a pretty good place for Seattle and I am giving it a 4 stars now that I have tried more of their menu items. It seems like this place is the closest thing I'll get to authentic Cuban/Colombian/Venezuelan cooking and I'm not mad at it either. Our favorite was the arepa - the dough was very well flavored and so was the meat. It transported me back home to my Mom's kitchen. Least favorite? Sadly the empanada. The dough looked like it was cracking - probably due to dryness, and it was not fresh despite us waiting forever for it. We finished our meals before receiving the empanada which was kind of sad since we expected it as an appetizer. The tres leches cake was also not super authentic but still good - however, I didn't like the strawberry sauce they drizzled on it as it masked a lot of the other cake flavors. On a positive note, their Mojitos are well made and their customer service was decent. Overall, a pretty good place nonetheless -- good for Seattle but not everything will taste like home though. If I could give 5 stars to the manager alone though? Would definitively :) as we were leaving, he said bye to us from the kitchen as he helped his staff out. read more

Mojito - The delicious arepa - Cuban Near Me - Seattle, Washington

This place has been my favorite for 10+ years, hands down my favorite restaurant in all of Seattle or Portland. The Vaca Frita is the best, but the service is also amazing. I've lived in Latin America and the food here is legit. Even though we don't live in Seattle anymore, we always make a stop here when in town, even if just for lunch. Drinks, food, atmosphere and service are all 5 stars. read more

All I can say is this is the most delicious food I've ever tasted. The place is small and intimate and sometimes very crowded, but I don't even care. I could probably eat here every day of the week, except I would go broke and gain hundred pounds. Lol Get the Vaca Frita!! To. Die. For. read more

This is my favorite restaurant in the Pacific Northwest. Caiparinas with empanadas for a warm up, leading to mojitos or more caiparinas. Or a fabulous main dinner entree. I'm not sure if I'm in Brazil, Argentina or somewhere between here in there across the border. The customer service is the best. They are really warm, and welcoming. It's easy for us to want to stay here a long time. It's homey and comfortable. Delicious!!! read more

I think I cried through my meal. Food is authentic Cuban/Caribbean --and although my little family is Dominican, it felt and tasted like home--all we were missing was the sea breeze and tropical weather. We started off with empanadas (my daughter ended up making this her meal so we selected a few: cheese, beef, chicken). Tip: ask for their special hot sauce! We also ordered a side of tostones (fried plantains). I had the fish guisado (the flavor of the sauce is spot on) and hubs had the Parrilla Mojito. We capped it off with tres leches cake (oh my). We came Friday evening and it was packed. Be prepared (clothing wise) to sit outside. It is also street parking and folks zoom through that strip so be careful crossing with little ones! Lovely, quaint place. Wait staff were all lovely in spite of how busy they were! We will be back and I've already added them to our company's catering list (yes--they do catering). Happy dance. read more
