How have I only tried this place now? And it's so close? Small setting, but great food, friendly staff, and reasonably priced! Though small, I'd still say good for kids (if you don't go when super crowded), because the staff makes you feel so welcomed. Can't wait to go back to try all the other dishes, especially on Sunday for their Sunday-only soup! read more

Ordered delivery from here two times now. Both times we were missing sandwiches (the first time all the sandwiches were missing), so we had to scramble and make additional food for the kids. When we called the restaurant were told to just contact UberEATS to get a credit. We really wanted to like this place but those experiences were unfortunately very unreliable. read more

The sandwich bread here is so crunchy and delicious! The Mojito sandwich was just ok, a bit bland and wasn't anything to write home about. In retrospect, I think I should have gotten the Cuban sandwich because when I got home and added mustard to my leftover Mojito sandwich ... it was better. Their white fish is flavorful, I got to try the Pescado en Guiso. YUM! Wish I had ordered THAT instead! And lastly, lightweights beware - their mojitos are strong! read more

The restaurant has a super nice South America vibe with all the music and decorations. The food here are pretty large portions. I ordered 1 entree, 2 appetizer and the bill is about $30. So not expensive but also not super cheap. Personally had a bit difficult time adjusting the salty and the sweet at the same time in the Camarones Carmen, but overall it is good. I love the arepa. The corn bread is super crunchy. The Vaca Frita lunch taste just alright though. read more

We went to mojito on weekday dinner. It was pretty hidden, located at the street next to the I-5 enterance. Without navigation, you might not be able to find it. The building itself is very colorful, and the lights come on during the night time. The interior was also very playful. They have lot of interesting decorative pieces like instruments and coins and they added nice "authentic" vibe. We ordered cevice and half chicken dish. I am nit a big fan of cevice, but since their description said it was "cooked" fish, I gave it a try, hoping it to be less fishy tasting. I still found the dish to be bit too fish, and too strong in flavor. Half chicken was served with fries and black beans, and they were great. Huge portion, nicely grilled chicken. Just not my favorite restaurant in town. read more

Mojotos is a consistent winner for delicious food and drinks. They set the standard that I compare all other Mojotos to: I think the small ice cubes really makes a difference. The atmosphere is still boisterous even when ordering to-go. The staff really make you feel special and welcome you as long lost friends, and that's worth writing a review for! Thank you for the meals and welcome, Victor, Liam, and Mojotos staff :) read more

This place is THE BOMB. I went there today and ordered the Lechon Asado. It was amazing. The meat was so tendered and everything on the plate went together so well. The servers were really nice and the atmosphere was great. I ended up chatting with Victor who was also very lovely. When I paid for my meal, Victor gave me a take out of their Sancocho de Cola ( which is their Sunday Special). The soup was also amazing and had so much flavor. I will definitely be back! Thank you for the great service read more

This is one of the best restaurants in which I have partaken a meal. The dishes, especially the shrimp and mango and the pork dishes, are bursting with flavor. Bring a designated driver if plan to have more than one of the million dollar mojitos, it will knock your socks off. The owner is so personable and attentive; he makes you feel like family. This is a MUST do experience if your in Seattle. read more

Fantastic Venezuelan food. Some of the best mojitos in Seattle. Killer empanadas, and wonderful, friendly staff, especially the owner and Victor. You can't go wrong here! read more

It's been a while since I've visited this place, but I think this place continues to be the epitome of a mediocre Latin restaurant. My experience here was being served cold/lukewarm food. They serve patacones so I was excited to have some, but they ended up being the frozen type (not made fresh). Tip for restaurant: if you can't source the plantain or don't feel like making them fresh, don't offer them as a menu item. read more

I absolutely LOVE Mojito! The food is always very tasty, the atmosphere is great and staff, especially Victor, are friendly. For reference, I live in SW Seattle and make the trek all the way to the NE for their delicious beef empanadas ( I always order 2), the parrilla mojito and a side of maduros. The steak is consistently good, moist and oh so flavorful! I'm not sure what they're marinating it in (some kind of citrus...probably lime) but it's delicious! Whenever I need my Caribbean food fix, I know EXACTLY where to head. read more

The owner is a complete joy. Food is all delicious. Not a lot of straight vegetarian options but the are accommodating. Never been disappointed. read more

This is a great little hidden gem. Got the lechon asado and it was a tasty and generous serving. The staff are wonderful. The service is welcoming and comfortable. Jesus and Victor were working the front and the kitchen when we stopped by and they were fun and professional. read more

This place is home. This place is family. The staff are amazing. The owner, Luam is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Victor is one of the most attentive servers ever. Now the food. HOLY Moses! My favorite is the Vaca Frita. It's perfectly prepared... but even just the black beans and rice are so delicious. Come for the food, hang under a heater on the patio, have a cocktail too. This place is a treasure. read more

Amazing atmosphere, filled with an amazing staff who is very personable and friendly. I am so obsessed with their food I can't get enough, kudos chefs. Their hot sauce is fire and when I mean fire I mean lots of hard work and passion went into it that it lights your sinuses up in the best way possible. I highly recommend this place! Thank you for blessing me with an amazing experience! read more

Unfortunately there's no pictures because everything looked too good! It definitely was! The owner gave us empanadas on the house! For good reason, it's amazing! I can't imagine coming back without ordering it again! The rice and beans tasted delicious. The best I've had outside of Puerto Rico. The Mojito Ceviche used fresh local rockfish topped with tostones. The ceviche had just the right amount of kick! read more

If you are wanting flavorful, delicious food and the nicest, most amazing people there to greet you then Mojitos is the best choice. Every time I have been here I have been blown away with how delicious their food is (try their green hot sauce, it's insanely good). Im a vegetarian and they have a ton of options for me, all bursting with flavor. I've ordered multiple group orders from here (50+ meals) and Luam and Victor make sure everything is perfect by the time we pick up. Such a cute little local spot that offers friendship and delicious flavors. I highly recommend this place!! read more

Visiting from San Francisco CA, and wanted to try some Latin cuisine while in Seattle, and was not disappointed! This place is great (small dining area, but if you can bare the cold? Recommend seat outside! The way to go). The food was AMAZING got some lechón and was great, the tostones and maduros was legit (felt like I was in my home country of Nicaragua) two thumbs up read more

Mojito - Location, Food and out door seating (small indoor dining space) - Cuban Near Me - Seattle, Washington

While on our weekend excursion to the city we found this little gem on yelp and just had to try it. Having recently moved here from Florida I was thrilled to come across a Latin restaurant as I've been having withdrawals. Mojito did not disappoint! It's a "hole in the wall," no hostess, just the owner greeting people, getting them a table, helping the one server in house, and 2 cooks in the kitchen. There's only 8 tables inside (not sure about the patio as it was cold rainy) but it's definitely worth the wait! The food was so good it reminded me of my mothers cooking, the music reminded me of my dad's Latin band, and the ambiance made me feel like I was home. I cannot wait to come back to the city and eat here again! I almost forgot to mention, the flan was so good it's the first one my husband has ever liked! It was even better than my moms read more

Luam and his team give AMAZING service. They are passionate, hard-working & kind. The food is incredibly delicious. We went here our first night while visiting out of town & came back twice in 5 days. We strongly recommend this special restaurant!! read more

Wow, I don't know how I've never gone here. The food, the services, the atmosphere, was all 5 star. mojito catered for my friends wedding and I was so in love with the food that I had to go back, and now I will definitely be a regular. I had such a great time with my friends here and would highly recommend it for anyone. Parking is super easy too and right next to the freeway :) read more

3.5 * The mojito was as expected. Delicious. The pecado en guiso wasn't as spectacular as I'd imagined, especially after reading all the positive reviews. The fish was good-- tender and covered in tomato/pepper/onion sauce which complemented it well. However, the salad that came with it was hard to eat. To be more specific, it was the yellow dressing on top of it that made it inedible. I'm not at all a picky eater, but there was this distinct taste/smell that I could not figure out and it just ruined the salad for me. It's a small, cozy, cute restaurant that has random instruments laying around, and you can definitely play them. There was only one server working, and he was super nice. Quick service too. read more

Had Mojito when they were at the Bellevue Arts Fair at Bellevue Square mall. The food was fantastic, it was fresh tasting, full of flavor and delicious! The prices were competitive and the service was great. The service was very personable and it was like they were serving a friend verses a customer. Would highly recommend Mojito and look forward to visiting their location on Lake City Way for a great meal in the future! read more

Great service, love the shrimp plate. Will definitely be coming back. Owner is really friendly and funny, really well managed.

Tried out Mojito for the first time today after driving by yesterday after sparking my curiosity with its bright yellow building. I was greeted by Victor, who went above and beyond to make sure that me and my girlfriend had a great experience. I tried an arepa with pork as well as the vaca frita lunch special and paird that with their mojito. The food was flavorful, juicy and filling and priced very well. The mojito was a bit strong but it is exactly what I wanted. My girlfriend tried the tortilla Espanola, the el mojito sandwich and the jasper rum punch. All of her food i tried was very good and the punch was amazing! Highly recommend trying it out! read more

Can't say enough good things about this restaurant and the owner. Food never disappoints. My husband loves the Vaca Frita and I'm a huge fan of the Pescado Mojito. The empanadas are fantastic in any flavor. And the Mojitos, of course, are delicious. If you haven't tried Mojitos yet, do it! You'll thank yourself later. read more

We just discovered Mojito and am I glad! This was such delicious food! And the staff were all super friendly and helpful. We got mojitos, a passion fruit milkshake (yummy!), the frittata appetizer and two entrees - Vaca Frita was spectacular!! We also had the Quesilla flan for dessert. It was so rich and creamy. I've found a new favorite. We will be back for sure! read more

i;m cuban and this place is awesome...the food is truly authentic, the service is great...ummm in due to pop in again.

Came here after a business meeting! Where helped by Victor and the owner himself! We ordered Mojito platter, everything was delicious, best chimichurri sauce, my husband had the vaca frita and I had the pollo asado! No joke, I thought I was in Nicaragua eating a meal! The Mojito where strong and delicious! The owner is super friendly and Victor was super attentive to our needs! I will comeback and it's a must for you to try!! The colors of anything you order here really brightens up your day and just looks fabulous on a plate. However, the flavors left much to be desired. We tried the pescado en guiso for 12$ (white fish fillet w/ tomato-based sauce, capers, olives, white wine) and pabellon for 12$ (shredded beef in red pepper onion tomato sauce w/ rice and black beans). The fish was buried under the dark tomato sauce but nestled above a thin bed of rice. With each bite, I really had no idea how much fish I actually got. Those bites that did include fish, it was very soft, but kind of bland. The cute little salad on the side was refreshing, but nothing quite stand-out. There are two small plantain pieces as dessert, which was a sweet end to the meal. The pabellon went very nicely with the onions and peppers and had a spiciness that wasn't overwhelming. Beans took up most of the plate though, along with the rice that left you wishing for more actual meat. The small portions were ok for the price...but you definitely had a bit of room left for something else after cleaning the plate. The location is in a colorful building on an unusual corner of Lake City Way that was a bit hard to find. Parking is street parking in the nearby neighborhoods. read more

It's rare to find good, authentic food in Seattle, so I was so excited to try out this local restaurant. And they didn't disappoint. I got the fried fish with plantains, and they were delicious. They reminded me of my times in Latin America. This place is such a rare and sweet treat to Seattle. The only downside of this place is that I saw the owner berate one of the managers. The manager was so friendly and helpful towards us. He was so so charismatic and humorous so we enjoyed his friendly banter while we ate. He honestly made our stay even better. The owner walked in, and the manager introduced us to him. The manager did that because we first thought he was the owner, but he corrected us, said he was just a manager. After a while, the owner pulled aside the manager and it was obvious that he started to scold him. We didn't know what for, but the manager, who's personality was very cheerful and outgoing, suddenly turned solemn and serious for our entire stay. I don't know why the manager got in trouble, but I also don't understand why the owner would get him in trouble in front of customers. The food was absolutely delicious though. read more

Let me just start with the fact that Mojito is delicious! We just moved to the area and love it. Secondly the customer service is AMAZING. I ordered a to-go order and said "A" Cubano to try to distinguish that it was just one of those sandwiches. Victor heard 8 (understandably). Needless to say because I was scatter brained due to work and used to high Seattle prices, I didn't notice that the price was higher than it should be OR that I picked up so many boxes (with a gifted dessert). In my experience some restaurants divide out sides and waste boxes. Victor offered us restaurant credit for the extra sandwiches I accidentally ordered. He absolutely did not have to do that! While I'm embarrassed to show my face (and will make my husband order from now on), we will definitely be going back for the amazing food and customer service :). read more

Man.... I miss this place big time. I stopped in at the lake city location on Thursday night for a dinner with a friend. 8:00 arrival and there was one table open, how fortuitous. Started off with signature mojito, it's a must and you can't go wrong. Still the best mojito that I've had in Seattle. Very authentic. Luams platter was our starter. It's a platter for four with four different kinds of platains. All of them are fried and it comes with guac for dipping. It's meant for four but I get it for two all the time. Vaca Frita for me which I've had 10 times before and lechon asado for my guest. The VF is marinated shredded beef that blasts with citrus, lime and spice. I add habenero sauce which is fantastically hot but in a good way which doesn't add or detract from the flavor of the dish. My guest loved his dish which is marinated pork served in similar fashion to my own dish. I probably would have tried that dish by now but it reminds me of kalua pig from a Hawaiian joint which just isn't what I am in the mood for when I come here. Next time I'm going to have the parrilla de Luigi. Skipped the desert this time and finished with another mojito instead. Didn't see any of the faces I know from the other location. Hopefully next time. Long live mojitos! The best and the only all Cuban cuisine in Seattle. read more

I took a trip to Seattle with my husband for our anniversary. He's from Venezuela and was anxious to go somewhere that served South American food. We YELP searched and decided on Mojito. We are glad we came! We had arepas, ceviche, fish, and half of a chicken. We liked the ceviche and were wowed over the fish and chicken dishes. I should have written the names down so I could order them again! The fish was baked in a banana leaf and was coated in cinnamon. The baked chicken was the best chicken I had in a long time. The fried plantains were AMAZING. My husband was confused by the fried arepa. Mine was good except it kept falling apart. The waitstaff was attentive and refilled our glasses. All servers asked how everything was. There was a long line to get in and I can see why! Everything was fantastic. Thank you! We will be by again! read more
