Unfortunately, a really bad experience. This was the first time I've been to this location and they seemed very nice and professional. I only needed a gel manicure. I was a walk in, so I expected a wait. No problem. They texted me that I was ready, I still had to wait. After about 10 minutes I was rushed over to a chair to sit in, I was not greeted until minutes later by nail technician. She asked me to move chairs, again. She finally started to work on my nails Then a women sat next to me for a manicure She was greeted with an "sorry for the wait, can I get you a water or Diet Coke?" She might have been a regular with the way the staff was treating her. I was not treated with the same regard, I was not offered any refreshments nor did they say anything about the wait. The nail technician seemed to be distracted and rusted my nails. My nails are cut uneven and the edges are sharp and not clean. She got up so fast and gave me the receipt for my nails and said I'm done. Without giving me a hand massage or even putting lotion on my hands. I mentioned it to her, she offered to give me the massage, but I was already done with the whole experience. So I just went up to go pay. The price for the gel manicure was 35$ It included a 3 minute massage which I did not receive. The first thing the lady at the front asked me is if I have cash. I only had my credit card, then she asked "well then how are you going to tip?" I responded saying how I did not receive the service I'm paying for then ended up leaving paying 43$ for a horribly done manicure that left my nails uneven, sharp, and I have nail polish on my fingers. I'm pretty sure they only cater to regulars/ people who "look" like they would tip well. read more

I also think the salon seriously needs more staff because the wait time was unacceptable. I was told I would be seated in 15 minutes, yet I waited over an hour and still was not seated. Meanwhile, multiple customers were just sitting with their feet in water without being helped. The moment I walked in, I was blown away by how beautiful the space is. To my left, a full nail polish bar; to my right, a complimentary beverage bar -- such a nice touch. The chandeliers throughout add a glamorous vibe, and the large tree centerpiece gives the salon a really chic, welcoming feel. The soothing bossa nova music playing in the background tied it all together for a relaxing atmosphere. Of course, the main reason I came was to see Ivy -- she's simply the best! This is my second gel x nail service with Mogn, and I had Natalie this time. I loved how the design and shape of the nails turned out. She even helped me with picking out the correct colors based on the inspiration I provided. Unfortunately, after a few days I noticed what I now know is "the ring of fire" on the top of my nails. I can also feel the very deep groove between the new nail growing in and the nail right above the gel x application. Because of that, I am now forced to get my nails taken off, hopefully not removing even more of my already thin nail underneath, and unable to get my nails done again until they grow back. read more

There's a man at the front who is so so nice but when he's not there I noticed they are not friendly and it's almost uncomfortable. I will say the place is new so it's nice and clean. My first appointment I was unhappy after scheduling 2 appointments in advance for me and my friend. They took my friend right away. I waited unless you'll pass my original appointment time, probably 20 minutes in. They finished up my friend and the gentleman that was doing her nails said he could not do mine. Is this the way you treat new customers. How do you book an appointment and not have enough people to do my nails? She just casually ignored what I was saying and said. I'm sorry we're busy as if that did anything for me. She was on the phone with the owner when I wasn't up to finally want to walk out. She said no. No. We do right now. She brought over a woman to do my nails. By that point I was there nearly an hour. Didn't walk out of this establishment after 2 hours. I was not happy. I just wanted my nails done and I was done with this place will never go back I live in La Mirada and typically I was looking for a salon similar to love nails in bellflower. Type of bougie look. However, love nails has excellent customer service and is always very polite and welcoming. They gave me $5 off after leaving 2 hours later. SMH how ridiculous are these people. They need more staff on the weekends. The structure of appointments doesn't make sense. I had an appointment for nails and toes at 1pm waited 15 minutes then She rushed through my toes, did it in 15 minutes. Then I sat there for 20 minutes and had to remind him we wanted our nails done waited some more when I asked how much longer he said 5 more minutes. I asked how the appointments work because people who came in after me are getting their nails done. He said I needed to request online that I wanted them done at the same time because it's hard for them to do nails at the salon chairs. If he had more staff I think the nail salon would be a great place. read more

I will start by saying that this nail salon is beautiful and so spacious. I have been here a few times already, but there is no consistency with the temperature of the water. For my pedicure it was practically cold and for my manicure it was cold. I have always found this place relatively clean, but today both trays attached to the pedicure chairs were not clean. When I had to move my purse, I preferred to just put it on my lap. And lastly, the fee for a classic manicure on their list clearly says $20, but they charged me $25 because that is what they say their price is. I made my choice based on what I saw on their list and they should have honored their printed price. I was very impressed by the shop. Very clean and beautiful. I went 2x and the service was excellent. However, the third visit was a disaster. The previous time the owner was present and consistently walked around and asked if everything was good. It was quiet, no cross talk from the technician and phones were not present. When I arrived, the owner was not there. I sat down looking forward to a relaxing mani-paid. From the start the person doing the pedi was communicating loudly in Vietnamese to an other technician across the room. The person who was doing the (horrible) manicure was also talking . She rushed and when she finished stood next to me with her phone having a conversation. I left with half my pedicure completed and the skin of two of my finger nails were bleeding. I don't feel like it is overpriced at all. Gel builder fill is about $50. Pedicure is about $35 base. The owners of the salon are also very friendly and make sure you are satisfied before you leave. They serve you a complimentary drink. They have the most color and design choices I have ever seen!! I am really happy to have this salon so close to home, and I go back just for Natalie! This was my first time trying Mogn Nails as they just opened across the street from me. I went in on Friday for Gel nails and Gel pedicure. I thought the Salon looked very elegant with all of the chandelier's and lighting. The ladies who did my nails were nice. I walked out happy with how my nails looked at first. the first time i went to mogn nail salon, i had a great experience! they removed my gel x nails, filed them evenly, and offered me cuticle oil and coating all for $10. (i also added an additional 20% tip!) my most recent experience unfortunately involved a male employee nicking my fingers 3-4 times with the nail drill, unevenly filing my nails, slightly yanking my arms throughout to move me closer to his reach (instead of communicating?), and throwing my hands back at me after he "completed" my nails for $20. no cuticle oil or coating finish too :( usually the staff are kind but today i am a bit disappointed with how my nails turned out. the shape/finish wasn't quite what i requested. i hope there's more attention to detail in the future even if the service is just nail removal. read more

This location is fairly new but I'm a customer at their sister nail salon in Buena Park. The owner is caring and most importantly attentive with all her customers always listens to you and gives you suggestions on whatever it is that you need done. My esthetician's name is Holly and I can honestly recommend her for anyone looking for the natural nail look! She's very careful and does amazing work with French tip and acrylic. My nails look amazing thin and natural. The beautiful owner prepared a cocktail while I got my nails done!!
