THEY CHANGE PRICES WHENEVER AND CHARGE WHATEVER! FALSE ADVERTISING ETA to the owner's comment: As mentioned in my review, when the worker specifically asked what service I'm looking for my daughter, I specified that it was color change only. So your response goes to show that not only did your business increase the price and not notify the customers up front and charge a higher fee later, but you overcharged for the incorrect service as well. I never said the $37 was for one service, it's clearly printed on the pic of my receipt it's for two services: hands and feet. I also clarified in my review the $17 was also for two services: hands and feet, again. Regarding reusing the nail files/buffs: when she clipped and filed down my nails in the beginning this day, it had nail polish on it already. Hmmm, where did that come from? Honest business practice also means accepting your wrongdoings and fixing it, not looking for reasons to deny and make excuses to justify. Your false advertisement of prices goes against the law, perhaps this is a wake up call to review them. I used to come here since the first day they opened their shop as I'm a local. I've been coming here many times, sometimes even with my daughter, and always left happy, until today. When I first brought my daughter here, they charged $10 to do regular nail polish on her hands and feet. The second time I brought her back, they charged $15. I didn't complain or question the price difference. Whatever. The third time, which was today, they asked if she's only doing color change or manicure/pedicure. I asked what's the difference, she explained color change is just painting polish and manicure/pedicure is cuticle care and nail clipping/filing. I said no, just color. We get done and they bring me her bill, total of $37. I questioned the price difference, as their menu shows $17 for the total. The lady from the front comes and tells me they just raised their price last week and walks away. I grab the menu book which still shows $7 hands $10 feet for kids under 10. I said the advertised prices are not updated. She said they "just haven't changed their menu, and offered to show me the pricing that increased on their system". I told her that customers look on the menu for prices not the POS system, and you should've disclosed up front that your prices increased before we decided to get my daughter's nails done. I asked if the pricing on adult manicure also has increased, she said no. Just the kid's pricing increased. How convenient that you happen to only increase the kid's pricing. Also, $37 is double of the original $17. That's more than a double price increase! The law requires merchants to disclose accurate prices on their menu, and if their menu is not updated, they're required to disclose the current pricing up front. Whatever, I'm sure that's illegal and falls under false advertising, but I went to the front to pay for it anyway to not make a scene. She requests cash/zelle payment. I said I don't have cash and pay with my card. She says there's a 3% card fee but she will waive it this time. I said it's ok, go ahead and charge it. I ask to leave the tip on my card, she said "oh you have to tell me before. If you wanna leave tip on your card I can charge your card again just for tip". I ask if I'll be charged 3% fee again, she says yes. First, she knew I had no cash. She should've said the tip needs to be added before I pay. Other shops ask if you want to include tip if their system doesn't have an option to add tip after. Second, she'll waive the 3% the first time, but not for the tip? Lastly, the shop needs to either not have prices disclosed on the menu, and if they will, they're required to update menu when price increases, not just charge whatever they want, whenever they want. Customers expect to pay a price that is advertised, and not be hit with a bill that is more than double of the amount disclosed on the menu. I walked out upset and disappointed, I'll never come back here again. There are too many other local nail shops that run their business with integrity. Don't waste your money here. Their shop is nice and fancy, but zero honesty and they reuse their disposable nail files/buffs. read more

We will not be returning to this salon. During my last visit, my daughters toe was cut, and the service felt rushed and careless. The prices are also very high if "you get what you pay for" is true, then paying $52 for a basic gel manicure should not result in feeling rushed or leaving in pain. Even when we make appointments, it always feels like the staff is trying to get us in and out as quickly as possible. We have spent over $500 here in a short amount of time, so this experience was especially disappointing. At this price point, we expected better service, more care, and a safer experience. read more

I visited Mogn in La Mirada for the first time and treated myself and my daughter to a medi-pedi. From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. One thing that immediately stood out to me was that the salon didn't have the strong chemical smell that many nail salons have, which made the experience much more enjoyable. I was surprised to learn they've only been open for six months because everything felt well-organized and professional. I appreciated their attention to cleanliness and sanitation. They use liners in the pedicure tubs, and all of the tools were autoclaved and opened in front of us, which gave me extra peace of mind. The massage chairs were also amazing and made the experience even more relaxing. Overall, we had a wonderful visit, and I definitely plan on returning. I have been here now 8 times. The pros of this place are it's beautiful inside, it's spacious so you don't feel like you're sitting on top of other people. The owner SEEMS to really want to provide good customer service but something filters down to the nail techs behind the scenes and the service is usually just average to low average. This is a premium salon charging premium prices, but the follow through on service is lacking. You pay extra for let's say the premium rose milk pedicure. The mail person who I requested and made an appointment with rushes through, and although a scrub was placed on my legs and feet it was immediately rinsed off instead of an actual scrub taking place- what's the point? The point is they are in a hurry to move to the next client. It's as though they don't think you'll notice and who wants to complain?! Twice now a different nail tech has finished my nails than the person who started them. It feels like I'm in the way instead of a valued customer. You can't develop loyalty to a place like this when they show no loyalty to you - to even finish an appointment and execute the service as it is written in their description. As for the actual nail work I've had done here, the pedicures though expensive have been okay. The first time I came and got gel X - they looked nice and I was pleased. When I came back to get them redone, I left with different length, nails and spots where it didn't look like the nail polish fully covered the nail on the sides of the nails. The third time I came I did gel builder and those fell off in about four days. I noticed there's another person who reviewed the salon who had the exact same thing happened to them. Since then, I have not been getting any kind of gel X or gel builder on my nails. I have very mixed feelings about this place - they offer you a drink, alcoholic or soda or water when you come in, which is very nice. The chairs are clean and comfortable, the salon is kept up very nicely and clean which is why I rate it three stars because those things are important to me. But... I always leave feeling disappointed. Just for the record I'm not somebody that wants to make a best friend out of my nail tech , and I'm not a diva of any sort, but I do want to be treated with respect and receive the service I paid for. This was my first time trying Moyn Nails. I live down the street and have been looking for a good nail salon near home since the place I usually go to is in Anaheim. I was able to make an appointment same day on their website which I loved. The salon is in a shopping center with plenty of parking. It's a beautiful, large, and clean space. I don't know how to describe it, it looks so professional, each manicure station has their logo on the table top, which a tan chair and a black pillow which has the logo embroidered on it. The pedicure chairs are spa chairs. They have these trays that go on top if you are getting a manicure with your pedicure. Most salons I've been to put a towel over a pillow and use that as a table. You can check in via the kiosk on the counter. I got a volcano pedicure because it has been awhile since my last pedicure. It came with callous scrub, paraffin soak, a hot stone leg massage, and more. It just kept going. I was amazed. It felt so good. Thy did my pedicure and was so sweet and kept making sure nothing was hurting and making sure the temperature of everything was okay. I got gel-x nails with Natalie. She did an amazing job. I loved my nails. She always gave me options about everything. Gave her opinion but always left it up to me. I did take her word on some things since she's the professional. Ultimately, for the cost and experience, I'll be back. I'm so glad I found this place. read more

Overall I give this place about a 3.5. My family and I have been coming once a month since they opened in November of 2025. It's has its moments ,but lately it's been nothing luxurious. The service is fine, you get what you pay for. Sucks that some nail polishes cost an extra $10-$15 bucks on top on the service. If you try walking in on a weekend it's quite busy and sometimes you end up waiting an hour even if you have an appointment. So weekdays are better if you don't want to wait so long. The some ladies are great and some are just ok and get the job done. Annie (I believe that's her name) and Kira are definite go to's if you want designs. I had a terrible experience with Ken. He kept pulling my hand and fingers, he kept pinching the sides of my nails with his own fingernails, and he kept burning me with the drill bit. He seemed annoyed to be providing service on a Wednesday afternoon. When I finally pulled away because he kept burning my skin with the drill bit. He finally asked if I was ok and I told him "no, I'm not ok" and that he kept hurting and pulling me. After I told him that he finally lightened up and kept apologizing. No more pulling and no more aggression. So my guess is to avoid Ken and my MIL had another ok experience with the other gentleman Kevin. Regardless of the pain and disappointment I still tipped him $6 as he still provided service. The techs typically buzz off your cuticles with the drill bits so you prefer them to cut it then you'll have to ask for it. Annie I've seen cut cuticles without asking which is nice. When they first started they would ask if you wanted a drink because they have a nice bar. But now the owners just walk around and watch the techs work and stopped asking if you'd like a drink. Every month my MIL, SIL and I get fills for our nails and we spend around $60-$85 and never do they provide lotion or hand massages. The luxury part of the salon is lack luster, luckily it's just newer and "cleaner" but overall you get what you pay for. read more

I have now gone in 2 times with appointments and have had to wait a ridiculous amount of time. The first was in the middle of the day so I was patient, but my experience today was not okay. I made an appointment well in advance; days before. My appointment was right at 9am when they opened. I arrived within 2 minutes of them opening the doors and was still made to wait, for 40 minutes! I understand places get busy but this was a poor experience that showed their complete lack of time management. I get my nails done regularly. I will think twice before booking here again and will absolutely skip this establishment next time I have things to do for the rest of the day. read more

The girl in the front was rude and had an angry face from the beginning, I ignored it and the techs were really nice. I had asked for a pedicure and once I saw the book with services I asked the tech if I can get a manicure also and she said yes, I will let them know. The girl in the front desk came back to ask how we will be paying and when my tech mentioned the manicure she got upset and said "you told me a pedicure didn't you!" I felt weirdly pressured, so I did anyway because I'm too nice. My gel manicure started coming off 6 days later. Luckily, all the cuts to my cuticles healed and I didn't get an infection! My first visit before this was getting a pedicure; I had asked for a gel manicure + pedicure. The lady only did my pedicure, and left me waiting for 15-20 minutes for my manicure. NO ONE CHECKED ON ME. They never even came back to remove the napkins that they put in between my toes. Nor did the updated me on when someone would be doing my manicure? I didn't have time, so I left. It sucks, because MOGN is elegant and looks very clean, but their service is subpar. The qualify of whatever gel they use is not durable. read more

I came back the next day to kindly let them know and ask if they could fix them. The owner was actually on her way out, but she took the time to personally take care of me--and I'm so glad she did. She completely turned the experience around. She reshaped my nails beautifully, reapplied the color and chrome, and even added a cuticle treatment. She was incredibly sweet, attentive, and genuinely apologetic. What really stood out to me was that she treated me like a VIP and didn't even allow me to tip her. That level of customer care meant so much to me. It showed how much they value their clients and stand behind their work.
