I've been coming to this nail salon for a little while now, and overall I've had a great experience. My first three visits were wonderful, which is why I keep coming back. On my fourth visit, my nails unfortunately didn't come out as expected. They were uneven and just not up to the usual standard I've experienced here. I came back the next day to kindly let them know and ask if they could fix them. The owner was actually on her way out, but she took the time to personally take care of me--and I'm so glad she did. She completely turned the experience around. She reshaped my nails beautifully, reapplied the color and chrome, and even added a cuticle treatment. She was incredibly sweet, attentive, and genuinely apologetic. What really stood out to me was that she treated me like a VIP and didn't even allow me to tip her. That level of customer care meant so much to me. It showed how much they value their clients and stand behind their work. This was my first time trying Moyn Nails. I live down the street and have been looking for a good nail salon near home since the place I usually go to is in Anaheim. I was able to make an appointment same day on their website which I loved. The salon is in a shopping center with plenty of parking. It's a beautiful, large, and clean space. I don't know how to describe it, it looks so professional, each manicure station has their logo on the table top, which a tan chair and a black pillow which has the logo embroidered on it. The pedicure chairs are spa chairs. They have these trays that go on top if you are getting a manicure with your pedicure. Most salons I've been to put a towel over a pillow and use that as a table. You can check in via the kiosk on the counter. I got a volcano pedicure because it has been awhile since my last pedicure. It came with callous scrub, paraffin soak, a hot stone leg massage, and more. It just kept going. I was amazed. It felt so good. Thy did my pedicure and was so sweet and kept making sure nothing was hurting and making sure the temperature of everything was okay. I got gel-x nails with Natalie. She did an amazing job. I loved my nails. She always gave me options about everything. Gave her opinion but always left it up to me. I did take her word on some things since she's the professional. Ultimately, for the cost and experience, I'll be back. I'm so glad I found this place. read more

update: few things I forgot to mention the original review. Jacquline was being awkward at the end when asking for tip. I DIDN'T WANT TO TIP HER. I felt weirdly pressured, so I did anyway because I'm too nice. My gel manicure started coming off 6 days later. Luckily, all the cuts to my cuticles healed and I didn't get an infection! My first visit before this was getting a pedicure; I had asked for a gel manicure + pedicure. The lady only did my pedicure, and left me waiting for 15-20 minutes for my manicure. NO ONE CHECKED ON ME. They never even came back to remove the napkins that they put in between my toes. Nor did the updated me on when someone would be doing my manicure? I didn't have time, so I left. It sucks, because MOGN is elegant and looks very clean, but their service is subpar. The qualify of whatever gel they use is not durable. read more

Worst experience ever!! I was told there was no wait for a pedicure to come in. I get there and waited 30 minutes before I asked for the status. Then they said someone will be with you right now. They took me to the spa chair and had my feet in water for another 30 minutes and said the staff was finishing up and would be right over. This is my second gel x nail service with Mogn, and I had Natalie this time. I loved how the design and shape of the nails turned out. She even helped me with picking out the correct colors based on the inspiration I provided. Unfortunately, after a few days I noticed what I now know is "the ring of fire" on the top of my nails. I can also feel the very deep groove between the new nail growing in and the nail right above the gel x application. I don't feel like it is overpriced at all. Gel builder fill is about $50. Pedicure is about $35 base. The owners of the salon are also very friendly and make sure you are satisfied before you leave. the first time i went to mogn nail salon, i had a great experience! they removed my gel x nails, filed them evenly, and offered me cuticle oil and coating all for $10. (i also added an additional 20% tip!) my most recent experience unfortunately involved a male employee nicking my fingers 3-4 times with the nail drill, unevenly filing my nails, slightly yanking my arms throughout to move me closer to his reach (instead of communicating?), and throwing my hands back at me after he "completed" my nails for $20. no cuticle oil or coating finish too :( usually the staff are kind but today i am a bit disappointed with how my nails turned out. the shape/finish wasn't quite what i requested. i hope there's more attention to detail in the future even if the service is just nail removal. read more

They need more staff on the weekends. The structure of appointments doesn't make sense. I had an appointment for nails and toes at 1pm waited 15 minutes then She rushed through my toes, did it in 15 minutes. Then I sat there for 20 minutes and had to remind him we wanted our nails done waited some more when I asked how much longer he said 5 more minutes. I asked how the appointments work because people who came in after me are getting their nails done. He said I needed to request online that I wanted them done at the same time because it's hard for them to do nails at the salon chairs. If he had more staff I think the nail salon would be a great place. read more

I really wanted to like this place and even gave it 3 tries. First time my pedicure was done soooo poorly I had to go somewhere else a couple days later. There's a man at the front who is so so nice but when he's not there I noticed they are not friendly and it's almost uncomfortable. I will say the place is new so it's nice and clean.
