Esme, is super sweet and is always quick but efficient with her waxes. She uses her time wisely and is very sanitary. The studio itself is so cute and they recently renovated. Parking is a little tight sometimes so I recommend getting there about 5 minutes early incase you have to park in the back street. The front door does remain locked during wax appointments so I suggest waiting in your car until about 2 minutes from your allotted time. Checking out is easy as they have tap to pay! Definitely check this place out.

Most other places have trimmed my brows after they're done threading, but I notice they do very minimal shaping and trimming here. Also, other spots will ask what lotion/astringent you want after your service, but here they just put things on you without alerting you to what product is being used. It's the most local shop to me, so I really wanted to love it and support locally, but I'll have to look for a new place.

I've been coming to this specific location for years and it's gotten to the point where it's just…read moretime to finally speak up about the bad parts. My main issue was Mia at the front desk who, took about ten minutes to walk out to the front desk and acknowledge me at the location. She only walked out to check someone out, and when I gave her my name, she said, "you're an hour early, I don't have anything right now" and then continued to check out the other lady. I sat there and waited for a formal acknowledgment. I expected her to tell the other woman who was sitting in the room with me, you're next and tell me let's see what I can do and give you options. Nothing. I walked out, and had to waste an hour of my time for the appointment. When I walked in, she was still checking out the other lady, and then told me I would not be able to be seen because now I was too late, - 9 minute grace period, even though I waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged when I first walked in, too late. She told me there was nothing else left for the day although I had only one small prepaid service I was waiting for. I couldn't come the next day as I was heading out of town, hence the need for the wax. When I looked at my phone as I walked out, I got a text saying I had a no show and had 3 no shows before they don't take my appointments and can only do walk ins. I had to walk back in and ask her for her name - Mia, and who was supposed to be the waxer - Jeanette, who couldn't do the wax because they had just added new wax and turned up the heat. (This means nothing to me btw as I don't work there) She also told me she had been gone for ten minutes because she also has to sweep so they can close on time because there was only one waxer. This is an hour and a half at this point after I originally showed up when the closing was nearly 2 hours out. Not once did she mention, hey we only have one waxer, when I checked in, nor did she say look we are low staffed today can you com back at a different time or day. Nothing. It's rude and horrible customer service, I also don't appreciate the attitude when I called her out on her behavior. I didn't want to argue with a young girl, but I do find it incredibly disrespectful of me and my time. I will not be returning to the location and will be asking for my money back on unpaid wax passes. Additionally, EWC, get more employees and pay them fair wages. It's no wonder why people are constantly leaving, you leave the waxers spread thin, alone, and have compressed schedules for them making them make mistakes along the way. I really liked my last wax girl here, Stacy and ever since she left it's really gone downhill.

During the appointment, the wax specialist appeared to notice some of the missed hairs and began tweezing them, which became so painful that I had to ask her to stop. I understand that no service is always going to be absolutely perfect, but for the amount I paid, I expected the Brazilian wax to actually be completed and checked thoroughly before I left. I also have an upcoming trip and do not have the time to make another trip back to the location just to have a service corrected that should have been done properly the first time. What made the experience even more disappointing was that I contacted the location afterward to explain what happened and give them the opportunity to make it right, and I felt that nothing was offered to resolve the situation. I wasn't expecting anything unreasonable-- even a partial refund, credit, or some acknowledgment of the incomplete service would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, after both the quality of the wax and the way my concern was handled afterward, I don't feel confident returning.

We walked into EWC on a whim in the hopes of snagging an eyebrow appointment and was super duper happy we were able to do just that! Since our impromptu appointments were back to back, we shared a room and were both treated by the lovely Leticia. First up was me, I laid on the table and told her I just wanted things cleaned up and she immediately got to work. 3 minutes later and I looked a bit more polished and pristine with my clean eyebrows. Then she took care of my bff who added on an upper lip wax. We both were super happy with our results. Leticia was amazing and super knowledgable! This girl knew her stuff and she is beloved as well (we noticed someone a little bummed that they couldn't get an appointment with her...so you know she's just that good) she told us how to properly fill in our brows and little factoids about our arches. We all laughed and had a ball for the 20 minutes we got our waxes. Lovely little experience at EWC! Friends who wax together, stay friends forever!
