This was my first time having this boba spot, and I must say, I was impressed! As much as I go to NuVegan and Board & Brew on the other half of this row, it's crazy I never tried this spot out. They've got quite the variety -- milk teas, cheese foam teas, fruit teas, all sorts of slushes... and uji matcha was a new one for me. I decided to try that since it was new. It was ready within 5 minutes and it was a lovely swirl of green and beige. It tasted delightful too! As with many other spots, you're able to adjust ice and sugar levels -- and I kept mine to 30% sugar and no ice. While I was waiting, the lady behind the counter told me about the fruit and how high quality it is. It was nice to see that they have non-dairy options too! It's not just a strictly to-go spot, by the way. I can't accommodate a ton of people, but I saw someone working on their laptop in there... it's a really nice space! I look forward to returning and trying other flavors of teas.

Craving something sweet after having lunch next door. Got the taro bubble milk. It wasn't what I expected. It was actually iced milk with small pieces of taro. Very strange and disappointing.

Love the fresh fruit in their drinks!! Also the matcha tastes really high quality, they add a generous matcha amount so you can actually taste it. Fresh fruit tea: 10/10 Matcha drinks: 10/10 Grapefruit yakult: 8/10 good, but i would probably get something else next time Red bean tofu pudding: 9/10 super milky drink. Red bean is delicious. Not too much tofu pudding in my drink, but it tasted good, it doesn't taste like tofu, just a pudding texture. Good place to talk to friends. Parking behind the building costs money (pay by hour)

    Large Taro Bubble Milk Tea

The employee there was very nice and the store looked like it would be a nice place to hang out and relax for a bit. I got the large Taro Bubble Milk Tea with 50% ice. First thing to note is they use Taro Paste and it's not mixed in. All of the paste was at the bottom of the cup and no amount of swirling or flipping back and forth beforehand mixed the paste. So now you have all of the milk sitting on top of the paste. I used the straw to mix it for a few minutes because if you don't then the first sip you'll get is entirely just paste. After mixing it, the paste doesn't really suspend or dissolve into the milk and I constantly got clumps of it every now and then. It had nearly no Taro flavor, even with me getting huge clumps of pure paste. It was by far my least favorite Taro milk Tea from any place I've had it. Maybe it's because I don't like Taro Paste and prefer the powder or syrup other places might use? Even if those techniques are "cheaper". This drink tasted like only milk with paste at the bottom constantly interrupting the texture. Keep in mind that this drink was ~$9 after adding regular tapioca boba and making it a large. ~ $10 with tip. This was somehow both the most expensive Taro Milk Tea I've had and the worst. I won't be trying it again.

    How it came...

Went over to a boba tea place craving boba for the last few weeks. The service was fine. The restaurant looked very visually appealing and they had some pretty cool looking cups so overall the ambiance is ok. Anyways I order taro with tapioca as it's my favorite flavor and It looks very good on the kiosk as always. I get the drink and it's this brownish looking tint like coffee, odd but I push on. I take a sip and immediately get my taste buds assaulted by what seems like coffee, but no it's not, it's taro milk tea but I don't taste any milk or any sweetness. There's this chunky and thick paste like sand anytime you take a sip and it's just sour. Overall this really disappointed me and it seems they just put some taro and called it quits. The taro SUCKS. If your looking for a sweet and good drink I personally do not recommend this place.

The bubble tea is amazing. Great selection of fruit and milk teas with different toppings too. They have cool cups and sturdy cardboard straws that do not get soggy over time!! I have tried the milk foam green tea and the super fruit tea. Both teas are excellent. I want to try more of their teas. They are a little bit more expensive than other bubble tea places but I am will to pay the extra cost if they are environmentally conscious!!!

I got the rose milk tea and the mango tea, although the presentation is nice and the toppings are given generously, it is very mid boba for the price you pay: $18 for two drinks + tip Of course the other drinks I haven't tried may be better but for $8-9 each, I probably won't try this again.

That cheese foam! I know, for some it may seem like it wouldn't be tasty, but it actually is! Ordered from here a few times and the standout is the Mango Pomelo. It's so fruity and refreshing! The Brown Sugar Bubble Milk Tea is also another yummy contender. The drinks I've had from here don't taste overly sweet, and the cheese foam is different, a good different. It's a definite needed addition to any Moge Tee drink.

I'm so sorry, but how does this look like green milk matcha, there is no matcha and mostly milk -.- . I mixed it all up and still no matcha, not even the flavor.

Four seasons milk tea with boba

What's my obsession with bubble tea? With so many competitors out there offering their best take on milk tea, fruit teas, and everything else, I just have to try it at least once. I'm also already in the area so might as well. Moge tee is a chain just like so many others but it's not a popular name I'm familiar with. It's location may be ideal for the university students but for someone rolling through, parking is a situation. Paid parking is available behind the store but it can get cramped. All the fruit teas and specialties looked delicious but opted for the four seasons(oolong) milk tea. We tried to get an explanation of what the four seasons meant and only understood that it was basically just oolong tea. I liked that the oolong flavor was apparent in the milk tea and I found the tapioca pearls to be lighter in color compared to the usual dark appearance. Maybe it's sweetened with honey rather than brown sugar? I'm not a boba connoisseur.

I absolutely love this place! They have self order machines so there's rarely ever a line. I've only tried a couple of their drinks including the fruit teas but the brown sugar bubble milk is my favorite. The workers are really nice and will help if you're not sure how to order. With so many bubble tea places in the college park area this is by far my favorite.

Today I decided to go get some tee at this place because of my friends who go here frequently it was a really fast service the tea was really good and they got my order correct everyone was just minding their own business it looked really clean and well decorated props to this place.

First, their location is very inconvenient unless you are on foot, which may be great for U of MD students, but if you are in a car, its a disaster when it comes to parking. This business even has a sign saying ask about a parking pass and they are not responsible if your car is towed. This alone makes this place already super unattractive. I fought my instincts and gave this place a try, but honestly, felt like I wasted $12. They have a digital kiosk where you can order your drinks and I chose a HK style milk tea (hot) with less sugar and also a jasmine milk tea with boba. The ordering for the jasmine tea was weird because it has an option to choose $1 extra for boba but if you scroll a little further down, you can get boba, no extra charge. I thought that was a bit sneaky, which I didn't appreciate. I waited about 15 min and then my order was ready. The HK style milk tea was supposed to be in a glass container but I only saw the sign after I ordered that they didnt have glass containers. That really sucked. The other issue is that when my HK style milk tea (hot) was ready, it was barely warm, which also was disappointing as it was a bit cool outside and I wanted something hot to warm me up. The HK milk tea also wasn't that great either, nothing special. I've had HK milk teas for about $2 elsewhere and they were great, but this was overpriced and lukewarm. I wont be ordering this again. The other drink seemed OK as I ordered it for someone else. I also thought this place was kind of dirty and could have been more clean. Not sure why the windows looked so dirty. I found the place kind of gross and it just didnt feel as clean as I like businesses to be. Overall, a pretty underwhelming experience. You get one chance to make a good impression especially when there are so many boba options available. I definitely wont be coming back here again.

I had sooo many meals from here since I went to UMD. When I crave for rice dish or a cozy beef noodles soup, I always go to this spot. Honestly, it's not up to par as to Taiwanese restaurants in Rockville, but it's also not mediocre and it's quite good value for the price. One thing I have to give it a solid 4/4.5 is the popcorn chickens and fried snacks, it's huge in portion and taste very close to actual Taiwan flavor. It always comes out piping hot and juicy. Very satisfying. On the other hand the drinks are meh, I'd rather walk a little further for other brand's boba milk teas. It's more of a food cafe than for drinks. I would recommend for students and staffs at UMD, but I won't go there if I have to purposely drive to this place. I believe there's better somewhere else but it's very convenient and solid lunch for UMD. (UMD don't really have too much Taiwanese food options, this is about it)
