Quite honestly, the worst boba place I had ever been to. Its in the Seabrook shopping center and shared space with a BBQ restaurant. From the inside, a cashier flagged me down, so I know where to order. I chose tiramisu. I wanted to try something different since they had the usuals, that I have had before. It took some time, to get it. Being it was my first time, I had no idea where to pick up my drink. The cashiers both evaporated into thin air. Then I saw the woman who came after me, got her drink after me. I was like, order for Shelly? The employee with the tarantula eyelashes ( she had no name tag) Just pointed to the drink that had been sitting. No one ever called out my name or number. Yet these employees want a tip each time you pay? The drink wasn't in a marked Aunt TeaBoba. It was in a plain plastic cup. No decorations or anything. The drink itself was awful. Didn't even taste like tiramisu. Completely watered down & looked nothing like the poster. Highly doubtful that I'll return. Bad service and product. read more

I've had their boba three times in the last three days... if that doesn't tell you how good it is, nothing will. I'm a creature of habit, so it's the Vietnamese Iced Coffee boba for me: hold the coffee jelly, add brown sugar boba. (Pro tip, ask them to go light on the ice, or if you are not drinking it right away, ask them to hold the ice, altogether. It will make it easier to get to the yummy delicious brown sugar boba at the bottom.) Admittedly, I don't like black tapioca pearls with my boba: I often prefer Crystal bubbles, popping bubbles, or the different fruit jellies. The black bubbles I've had at other places have this strange texture and an even stranger flavor. However, there's something about the brown sugar boba here that's absolutely awesome! It looks exactly the same, but the flavor is totally different... And absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend that you try it. The coffee itself is so smooth and rich (and bonus, no jitters afterwards!), but the "sea cream" on top is really the icing on the cake. It adds a beautiful creaminess to the drink and it gives those last few sips that delightful salty/sweet balance... Similar to what you get if you were eating a delicious piece of chocolate sea salt caramels. To say this is my new favorite boba spot is an understatement. I may or may not schedule some of my errands in this area just so I'll have an excuse to stop by... you know, because I was in the neighborhood. Don't judge me. read more

I have been to a lot of Boba shops but this is the first time I have been to a Boba shop that was inside a BBQ take out restaurant. I got the Black Mix Milk Tea, Taro Smoothie, and Oreo Smoothie (all with Honey Boba). The smoothies were for my girls (7 & 9) and they enjoyed their drinks. My Black Milk tea was good. I really like this joint. I ordered the Halo Halo and I really enjoyed it, I was really surprise to find the flavors so well balanced. However, I was not a fan of the red beans in this drink, I love them in the sesame balls or tiyaki but I wasn't a fan of them in this drink. Would definitely try again w/o them My mom had the Pandan one it was so nice, wonder if like some sort of Oreo slush with Pandan would like be a thing to try out, idk just a thought. The popcorn chicken was very good!!! My sis loved it heck I was eating it too cuz it was so addictive. Now, I don't know if the Ube cake is sold by aunteboba or supreme bbq but like Tres Leches was my fav, no more. It's this Ube cake I don't even know how to explain how good that cake was!!! When it comes to new places to try food/beverages in the lanham-seabrook area, there are not a lot of choices. AunTea Boba's drinks are so good for not having to drive to either college park, dc, or Annapolis for a boba drink. I recommend the Mango Marble with Star Jelly if you are craving something sweet. The Taro flavor is also a solid choice. The ambiance could be better since it's a little strange that it shares the space with a barbecue shop. However, the service is always kind. read more

The staff here are very nice. It was my first time here and the place was clean and they had lots of comfy seating here. I ordered there Thai tea boba drink and it was really good. It does come with brown sugar in it which makes it taste very sweet. It was about $7. You can ask to have the drinks without sugar. This boba tea is definitely good though. Yummmm! I love that their is a Boba place not too far from me. Most are in Montgomery County or Virginia so this was a treat to stumble upon. Auntea Boba is the BOMB! Did not disappoint. I ordered the Taro Tea Boba it was just sweet enough with just the right amount of Boba. Boba was well flavored subtly sweet so it was perfect. Also may I mention they have a BBQ attached and it smelled heavenly, they had lots of meat options and sides. I have never been compelled to write a review until now. That is how poor my experience was at this establishment. There was only one customer eating in the shop, yet I was waiting about five minutes for an employee to take my order. I ordered the Cookies and Cream boba from what looks like their completely new menu with 100% sweetness and it was still a watery, flavorless mess. Quite literally the worst Boba tea I've had. My usual is the Tiger Milk tea with the cold foam and it never disappointed me. Ok. Pros: It's really close to our home and that's great, 'cuz most boba places are in Montgomery Co. or DC or Virginia. So, YAY! Also, the menu is varied! Concerns: Customers are required to wear masks, but the folk in the back (handling food/drinks) aren't masked. That makes me a little uneasy. Also, the movie they have playing on the tv while you wait for your order is a R rated movie lots of cursing ('f*ck' used liberally) and gore. Not good to be showing at 3 in the afternoon. PG County this is where we can get some boba tea which is nice. I ate here and got some drinks, the fries are good they taste like normal carry-out fries, the macaroni is buttery and tasty. The jerk chicken was good and the smoked wings were okay. The boba texture is chewy and they are sweet and yummy. This was my first time with milk tea and i'll be back for sure. Decent Thai tea and coconut milk tea. The place is really odd, inside of a bbq carry-out. But I enjoyed my purchases.

Shop is in the cut and is half BBQ, half Boba; that is definitely super cool. Guy with the glasses behind the counter was real chill and welcoming. However, I really don't think they put any drop of tea into the Tiger Stripe Milk tea I ordered. It was just milk, sugar, and Boba. I went out the way to come to this spot but I'd rather drive 30 min to VA and just settle for Kung Fu tea. Sad times on the Boba Hunt! read more

Tried this place a couple times. Their drinks are pretty refreshing, but I think could do with being sweeter. Definitely less creamy than other milk tea flavors, but that can be a good thing, especially in terms of wanting something light and refreshing. Tried their wintermelon milk tea before, and their strawberry matcha, strawberry milk tea, and taro slush. All very subtle-sweet and pleasant. Personal favorite is the matcha strawberry. This one has the right amount of sweetness and matcha + strawberry taste a lot better together than you'd think. Definitely try it! read more

We tried and this was not the way boba tea is supposed taste. I got an Oreo boba and my kid got a tiramisu boba tea. Neither of these drinks tasted like the name they tasted like straight watered down milk with no hints of the actual flavors that were ordered. When I couldn't find the place that should have been an indicator to go to my usual spot (Kung Fu Tea). At least we would have been satisfied. This was a waste of gas and $12.20. ***The one star had nothing to do with the customer service, as the people were pleasant. Just need to work on that tea. read more

Stopped by and tried a watermelon slush today and it was really good. I like how the slurpee is delivered in a self sealed cup. I ddn't get any extras. Really convenient when driving is required.
