I was very excited to try this place. It had "popped" up in search. So I went when I had time to discover. It's very cute and I liked how they made use of the small space. My attention was focused on the treats. I felt they came up short. I love ice cream, but what I saw was of the "unicorn swirl" variety. Not the ube, dark chocolate, Dubai pistachio or even caramel I would rather try. Maybe kids who like vibrant ice cream would enjoy that. On to the popcorn. As a kettle corn aficionado and maker of caramel corn myself, I can say that the coding was insufficient. Furthermore, I took home what looked to be freshly made kettle corn in the front. Pricing and coating aside, it was stale, and my youngest daughter came up with several adjectives that did not compliment. In her final assessment, it tasted three days old. Dough appeared to be mini doughnuts. Hope those are good. I am rooting for this place to be fresh and flavorful. Others may like it but it wasn't for me.

Delicious dessert shop in College Park/Beltsville with the nicest people working here! I got to chat with the owner and her daughter (Taaj - I know I'm spelling that wrong). I followed this place on social media since they opened and after a few months I finally made it here. It was so good, I just might be a regular! Love the decor! I got some popcorn samples - very flavorful. I really loved the creative names. The spicy cheddar is very spicy FYI! I got half a dozen mini donuts to go. They were all soooo good. I can't even pick a favorite! I just know I need to be back soon for more! Can't wait for their grand opening!

Cute place, a little pricey but worth it for the sweet tooth every now and then. Smelled amazing inside, with the popcorn everywhere. Donuts were cute and fun sized. Made fresh so be prepared to wait about 10mins or so. Staff were very nice. Will go back to try popcorn and ice cream. So 2 more visits to go.

This place is such a gem! Originally a food truck in DC, Pop Scoops Dough is now a family-owned donut shop--and they're absolutely killing it. The flavors are amazing, especially the Dubai Chocolate and Biscoff. The ice cream was super creamy with a rich dipped flavor that paired perfectly with the donuts. They also offered us popcorn samples, which was a nice surprise and added to the overall experience. Pro tip: Try to get the donuts warm--they're insanely good that way! The staff is really friendly and welcoming. They take time to chat and genuinely care about your experience, which makes a big difference. The decor is super cute, and the whole vibe is inviting. These donuts would make perfect finger food desserts for a party--definitely unique and memorable. Bonus: the seasonal flavors change every month, so there's always something new to try. We'll most certainly be back!

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, I enjoyed my hot Café Cubano.

The brightness draws you in; the delicious treats keep you coming back. I love the way the owners, a lovely family, greet each customer as if they are one of the family coming over for dessert. The atmosphere makes you want to come back regularly. I pray this place is around for a long time to come because I'm hooked! Family, Treats, Atmosphere, Good vibes, Regular, I wish i have a place like that closer to me because I drive nearly an hour a couple of times a week to big my back! The vibrant colors always lift my mood. And oh my goodness, the treats are seriously addictive, warm fresh mini donuts, fresh popcorn made daily.... I can't resist! It's so nice to see the friendly staff always smiling. It's a winning combination that keeps me going back again and again. #FamilyVibes #TreatsTime #AtmosphereGoals #RegularCustomers

"Can't even shout, can't even cry, The Gentlemen are coming by Looking in windows, knocking on doors, They need to take seven and they might take yours. Can't call to Mom, can't say a word. You're going to die screaming but you won't be heard." And so Buffy's in-class daydream that started so electrically with a kiss from Riley, Professor Walsh's graduate teaching assistant, in front of her peers, forcing the sun "to go down," morphs into a harbinger of the latest terror that will descend upon the fictional town of Sunnydale, California. The Gentlemen, gaunt, tall, fairy-tale ghouls who hover above the ground as they move, will soon hunt for the seven victims whose hearts could ensure a permanent state of silence and crisis. "How do I get my voice back?" Buffy asks Giles, her watcher, after learning that only a scream from the princess could destroy the Gentlemen. Giles shrugs. Eventually, Buffy recognizes that the not-so-heart-shaped box in which the Gentlemen have trapped Sunnydale's citizens' voices must be smashed. But what if this parable about the importance of relationships and communication was not set in a town that sits on a literal "hell mouth" but the very real university town of College Park, Maryland? What could bring the young and young-at-heart together and reignite the spark of communication so vital for both our safety and the promise of joy? Could it be kettle corn? The first time my wife and I visited Pop, Scoops & Dough, located in the same strip of shops as Mom's Organic Market and Pizza Roma, on 9809 Rhode Island Ave., we sought an answer, purchasing "executive" (the largest) bags of Chicago-style (caramel & cheese) and chocolate & caramel. We could not have been happier, having enjoyed both tremendous conversations with the business owners we had just met and the kettle corn, which we are savoring but will soon finish. We anticipate being just as joyous about their mini-donuts and their ice cream (soft serve and hand-scooped) when temperatures warm.

2nd time at PSD at it did not disappoint. I love this Black family owned business and this is such a cute spot. Great customer service along with great tasty donuts! It is a little bit of a wait but it is definitely worth it. This time i got a half dozen mini Next time I have to try their ice cream.

Pop, Scoops & Dough is one of the cutest and brightest dessert shops I've ever been to! I've been following them on social media for a while, and finally got a chance to visit when I was in the College Park area. As soon as I parked I spotted the outdoor area, which included a decorative bicycle and yellow tables and chairs. The door handles were ice cream cones, which was so unique! We were immediately greeted and told a little about the options - popcorn , ice cream, donuts, drinks... We went for half a dozen mini donuts, but also sampled some popcorn. The donuts were delicious and I loved the unique toppings. The customer service also stood out. I believe the girls working the front are sisters, and their mother also came out and greeted us before we left. The space was warm and inviting and perfect for a little sweet treat.

Delish popcorn. So many different varieties.

When the universe speaks, it's a good ideal to listen! I was randomly looking at local businesses on Yelp and ran across someone else's review for this spot. So imagine my delight when I went to Mom's Organic Market and saw that it was literally right next door! Beautiful little pocket of sunshine, the nicest staff and the popcorn is goooood! Tried the still-warm caramel corn but went with the popcorn with the dark chocolate drizzle. It's addictive. Within hours it was gone and I was so regretful that I didn't buy the largest size (there are 3 sizes). Now that I have to go back for more, I'll have to try the mini doughnuts or the ice cream!! Also if you love flowers, on Fridays Little Walters Flower Farm drops off bouquets of the most gorgeous flowers and they're only $15. I'm officially obsessed with this place after one visit.

Exotic popcorn flavors made fresh throughout the day in small batches.

The sweetest shop in the whole DMV. Possibly the world! Nothing but smiles and happiness I see all around me. The sparkly floors are like walking on SUNSHINE!!! A visionary museum of sweet sculptures everywhere. AND... THAT...BENCH!!!!! Melted ice cream eye candy. Let's get to the scrumptious sweets. Ice cream are all familiar favorites. The mini donuts are charmingly decadent. Popcorn amongst the best I've tasted. Oh, Yeah! And they have that Viral Hot Chocolate with homemade (halal) marshmallow fluff!!! The girls serving were patient and, excuse the pun, Sweet :) And to think this is only the 'soft' opening. Yes, Please!

The amazing donuts! Six would have never been enough, I know a dozen may seem like too much, it is not.

I was having a rough day and asked my boyfriend if we could get a sweet treat after dinner. I was thinking a local spot, but he said, do you trust me? Let's get in the car. We end up here. I saw the sign from the road and thought "what is thaaaat?" Pop scoops and dough? Then we walk in and everything smells amazing and looks so cute and has incredible instagrammable -ish decor.. the staff (I think the owner and his daughter?) were sooo nice and patient as we wanted to try just some of the different flavors (you can sample popcorn and ice cream) nothing disappointed. We are waiting for the next friend/family event to bring a big bag of this amazing popcorn!! The lemon and thyme is incredible. Everything was amazing and we ended up getting a little bit of everything! I cannot recommend this place enough, seriously. It was so good.. go now.. like.. get in the car.

Freshly piped marshmallow with a touch of toast! It's an incredible touch.

I was excited to see the ice cream bars...cakes...their cakes looked good! I may have to grab one for my nephews birthday next week!! What if that same flavor threatened to put the favorite haunt of Rachel, Ross, Joey, and Monica from Friends out of business because patrons no longer craved coffee in cups but decided instead that they would only consume Oreo'n Cold Brew instead? Baskin Robbins' latest limited-time-only flavor immediately rocketed to the top of my wife's and my all-time favorite ice creams; and we both chose to devour our individual two-scoop servings in an equally delectable peanut and fudge encircled waffle cone. Although this Beltway Plaza entrance location is tiny, fitting at most four customers comfortably in this time of Covid, the mall itself is not nearly as packed as "nicer malls" in Arundel Mills or Columbia, Maryland. Consequently, we found ourselves the only customers a little after 3:00 p.m. on a weekday. The service was terrific, needless to say.

Total came out to approximately $10. What's hot - Variety. There's a good variety of flavors- chocolate type flavors and fruity flavors. There's also a good amount of toppings- fruits, brownies, jellies, cookie dough, sprinkles, etc... - Location. It's in a plaza with a Whole Foods, restaurants, and shops, which is convenient. Also close to a walking trail, in case you want to walk off your frozen yogurt binge. - Layout. There's outdoor seating and indoor seating. Pretty spacious inside. - Price. The cost is .75 cents an ounce, which isn't too bad. - Service. Pretty good. They were able to ring me up quickly, and there appear to always be some staffer around. What's not - Price. As explained above, .75 cents per ounce isn't bad, but be aware the cost can add up quickly, especially if you add toppings. That I paid $10 and used the smallest cup and only got frozen yogurt with no toppings, is notable. I did the math and that means I got approximately 13 ounces of frozen yogurt, which weighs less than an average 16oz water bottle. - Quality. While the flavors I tried were good, they weren't great. Specifically, it was difficult actually tasting the flavors. Nothing seemed to pop. Essentially, it was sweet frozen yogurt. Final answer Willing to come back, but probably not a first choice.
