We sat outside and enjoyed our ice creams. The only reason they are not getting 5 star is that there was no non-dairy options. We got a variety of ice cream and toppings and tried a waffle as well. Omg the waffle was amazing!! Definitely have one! With the ice creams you get to choose 3 toppings and one drizzle. Pretty decent. You don't get a ton of ice cream but there is much talent that goes into making It and it's wild to see It all come together on the Icy block they make It on. Again the waffle was awesome. I would come back just for that! Park behind the store inside the garage. No indoor seating still, but they did have tables outdoors.

On a holiday, our favorite spots were closed and 520 was open so let's give them a try. They were busy around 5 & turns out partially due to the Rolled Ice Cream process taking a little longer than a typical ice cream spot. Interesting to watch it being prepped. We got a couple of Morning Lattes. They have 17 Ice Cream bowl varieties with a base choice of Vanilla, Chocolate and Coffee. Also have Milk/Fruit/Bubble Tea & Smoothies. You can get 3 toppings-opted for Choco Chip cookie, Oreo bits and crushed cone. & one drizzle-got a mix of Caramel and Chocolate drizzle. I'm pretty particular about my Coffee Ice Cream and this one just didn't have enough coffee flavor in it-was barely there. That said, the toppings we chose played nicely with the Ice Cream. Maybe vanilla and chocolate base would work better or have stronger flavors? Definitely a lighter Ice Cream and portion. A bit pricey at close to $7. Service was excellent throughout. Looks like they have a couple of other regional locations. Would we return? Possibly given the service and with the thought vanilla and chocolate bases have a stronger flavor when compared to coffee & to try some of the drinks. If I could give 3.5 stars.....

This was our first experience with stir-fried ice cream, and we were pretty excited to try it. We placed the order online to make sure it would be ready to pick up. The place is right on campus in a busy place with no dedicated parking. There were two of us, so I went in and she waited in the car nearby to pick me up. We ordered a Hong Kong waffle, two orders of ice cream, and a hot taro milk tea with Boba. The order said it would be ready at 7:05, we gave it ten minutes for stuff happens and came in at 7:15. There were no less than 30 people packed in there waiting to order. I stood there watching them make order after order before flagging down one of the very busy staff and asking. She asked me to hold up the order so she could see what was on it. She paused a minute and said "....ten minutes." Ugh... they definitely lost my order. So I stood there by the glass in everyone's way and watched them make dozens of orders. Eventually, all the people who had been waiting were gone. Soon, it was 8:00. I had checked up a few times and the lady was very abrupt and dismissive. I was deeply regretting placing this order, but it was already prepaid, and getting my money back would have been just as much of a hassle. There are two things about the experience that I still think about and get angry two weeks later. One, that lady knowingly told me ten minutes when she knew it would be much, much longer. She essentially leveraged the sunk cost fallacy to keep me in the door, which is a greasy, greasy thing to do. Two, after waiting more than an hour without so much as a single apology, it turned out the order was ready WHEN I ARRIVED! She pulled it out of the freezer ready bagged up and said nothing more than "I didn't know who you were!" As if I hadn't repeatedly said my name and received definitive responses. Anyway, that was my experience. I have to assume or at least hope this was a one off. I took away one star for the service and one because the quality was about average. They use a number of base flavors and cold slab them into ice cream. The presentation you get from having it rolled is neat, but not worth the extra few minutes per order, especially in a college area with hoards of people willing to wait any amount of time. They have two slabs, and each order takes at least five minutes to make, if the one person who can use is 100% efficient. This is a huge bottleneck when the place fills up. Everything else is pre-set mix-ins. I'm glad we got the waffle. It tastes like it was made with some kind of corn flour, and each segment was crispy on the outside and softer than anything on the inside. I wish it came with something to dip it in. The tea was a bit strong for my taste, kind of perfumy. The Boba was the perfect texture though, I'd definitely try a different flavor. All in all, I'm super salty about my experience. While the ice cream was good, I wouldn't say it was better than any other place in the area we've been to, definitely not worth dealing with the crowds.

Thai 4. Thai-Tanic Ice Cream

This ice cream shop is very nice. The staff are polite and friendly. The prices are very reasonable. ($6.25 per cup). We got the 1. Thai Tanic (5/5) with 3 toppings and 1 drizzle included in the price. The ice cream was light and fluffy. They had bunch of toppings to choose from.! 2. Mad Mango (4/5) This one was good but I felt the artificial mango flavor, May be that's me. But over all a great experience. Pay Parking is available just opposite to the store because it's in University of Maryland.

I always pass this place when I pick up food from Jumbo Jumbo Cafe. Today, I finally decided to pop in and give them a try. I ordered the matcha smoothie with lychee jelly and made to order egg waffle with Nutella. Yum! the matcha smoothie was delicious! Because of Covid restrictions NO dining in, but they do have tables outside. It was chilly out today, so eating a warm egg waffle out with a drizzle of Nutella was comforting.

Green Super Giant (without Nutella)

One of my favorite dessert places!! I get the Green Super Giant (without Nutella) with a condensed drizzle, strawberries, wafer, and pearls on top. It costs extra to get pearls as a topping, but it's so delicious and worth it in my opinion! I'm always craving this, and I'm so happy they have this in College Park now!

This was my first time eating rolled ice cream and I must say, it was amazing! For only around $6, I was able to get ice cream including 3 toppings and 1 drizzle. The environment is very bright and colourful with very friendly staff. I would come here again!

I was on a time crunch so tried to be there close to when they opened at 9am. I walked in and the space was so cute. The yellow decor is so nice. I was nicely greeted when I walked in and was excited to get some donuts. I was informed it would be about 10-15 minutes for the donut machine to warm up. I was concerned about the time and walked out trying to find somewhere else nearby that wasn't too commercial. I couldn't and returned to get the donuts. I'm glad I did because it didn't take too long and they were good. My only gripe is that these are mini donuts and the price is a bit steep for the size. $15 for 12 mini donuts. I'll definitely come back to try the other offerings.

Good afternoon, I'm…read morea new and first time customer at your store in College Park. Today after work, I went with my friend to try your ice cream. They were the best (ube and mango sticky rice flavors). Being an Asian I can tell the creaminess of the two flavors my friend and I got. However, while the taste were good, the servings were unfortunately disappointing!!! We ordered two scoops in each cone and each scoop were not even "a scoop" of an ice cream. And the cones were not even placed in its cone sleeve! Oh and the server wasn't as friendly and welcoming. And to pay almost $25 for two ice cream cones was insane!

This little spot is one of a handful in the DMV area... and it's the only one in Maryland, which makes it special. I feel so lucky to have it close to home! It's cold now, but they have a little bit of seating outside, and a handful of tables inside. There's even a little nook nestled in between walls on three sides -- that's my favorite spot. Sampling is always fun, though my favorites haven't really changed recently. I thoroughly enjoy their banana bourbon caramel, mint chocolate brownie, and banana pudding ice cream. Their seasonals tend to be bomb too. And did you know they use Sunday Morning Bakehouse's cookies for their cookie sandwiches? It's a partnership that I wasn't expecting, but I really welcome it. They're awesome. This is a great ice cream option for the UMD kids, which I'd argue can only be beat by Maryland Dairy. They're spoiled. Looking forward to returning for another scoop!
