I came for the fried chicken but fell in love with the BBQ!!! Actually it was all delivered but you…read moreknow what I mean. I'll get the only fail out of the way. The Chicken tenders weren't tender and the coating was over-salted. The full rack of BBQ Pork ribs was a winner, tender and meaty with great flavor. The Slow-smoked Chicken is delicious and a nice, moist change from the usual chicken treatments. The Smoked Chicken Wings were great too. I wouldn't get the Texas Beef Brisket or the Carolina Pulled Pork again, but they weren't bad, just lots of other choices that were better! The sides here are stand-outs too. I almost didn't get the vegetarian Collard Greens since I love collards cooked with meat but these were delicious -- they never made it to the microwave, they were so vinegary-good when I sampled them cold lol! The Mac & Cheese was good and cheesy. The baked beans were good but again vegetarian where I'd prefer meat included and I didn't care for the sweet sauce. The Skillet Cornbread is the best I've had, slightly sweet with a good corn flavor that made me decide to buy a WHOLE skillet rather than just the generously portioned slice next time, especially since it's such a good value. I do regret not trying the coleslaw and potato salad so again, next time. The little rolls are tasty too, moist and slightly sweet but it's a pity they aren't burger-size so you can make a sandwich with all that delicious meat and sides.

Had the legendary spicy chicken and it was delicious, hot, and huge with a thick crusted coating…read more In addition to the collard greens with a garlicky and apple cider vinegar hint. I don't recall any meat in the greens. And, the Mac and cheese, I enjoyed the texture, but wish the flavor profile had sharp cheddar cheese, but it was still good. Making my way through the list of things worth trying so far --the visit score is 2 & 0!

The froyo is yummy, the toppings are endless and I love that you can customize your froyo to your liking. It's nice for a hot summer day. I haven't had to complain about customer service in a minute on Yelp so it sorta-kinda makes me…read moresad to have to do it today. It was Easter weekend and I had all three of my children in town. After our amazing sushi feast (although NONE of us should should've been the least bit hungry!) we agreed to go to SweetFrog. This is another childhood memory unlocked that they wanted to revisit. The 3 young ladies working this Sun., 4/5/26 at the White Oak location completely turned me off. They absolutely did NOT deserve my money but, at the end of the day, they got the last laugh because my dumb tail stayed and paid anyway. I will confidently swear they may have actually felt a little disdain about our presence. They were NOT friendly or helpful. Not only did they not speak, acknowledge our presence in any manner, or even smile ... they were borderline rude as if it were our fault so many of the flavors weren't working/ready to serve. This location clearly has a decent following ... it stayed busy while we were there. Good for corporate (MTY Food Group/Kahala Brands) but they might want to remind their staff that sometimes non-Latino customers may come in and our money is legit too. Also, this location was wayyy too unkempt and dingy for me. Sadly, the whole area looks dirty and unloved ... not at all how I remember White Oak from 20 years ago. However, SweetFrog might want to seriously address the cleanliness of this location. The staff were not busy to the degree where they could not properly clean with something other than dry paper towels. There was not a wet rag, bleach wipes, microfiber rag, nor cleanser, in sight. Also, we all agreed the toppings (wet nuts, Oreo cookies, white chocolate chips, etc. as pictured below) tasted stale. None of us finished our overpriced cups of potentially bacteria-ridden froyo. Sorry-NOT-Sorry. The only reason I didn't address it then is out of respect for the rare quality time I was enjoying with all 3 of my children. SHAME ON YOU SweetFrog (MTY Food Group/Kahala Brands). As always, I'm looking forward to hearing about YOUR experience. When you visit, tell them you saw all this bitter truth on Yelp!

She responded to my questions quickly and was always willing to adjust our invoices or provide recommendations. They are also the most affordable company I've found in the DC area. On site, the catering team went above and beyond to ensure our events went seamlessly. I have never had guests compliment the staff and the menu as much as they did with St. Germain! As the event coordinator, I appreciated that Ceecho, Donal, and Johnny checked in with me throughout the event, quickly adjusted to the schedule changes, and were efficient and helpful throughout the set up and tear down process. I highly recommend Saint Germain for our next catered function in DC! We will be a repeat customer for sure!

Their menu is expansive and can accommodate all types of dietary restrictions--we had dairy free, vegan, pollotarian, and gluten free folks, and they all enjoyed the food. Set up and tear down were efficient, and the staff was so friendly, polite, and professional! And the food! I over ordered, so the whole library staff got to eat, too. Everyone raved about the buffets (we did a "cookout" style, a "fajita bar" style, and we had breakfast for three days). Everything was cooked well and seasoned well! The fresh fruit was delicious! Can I recommend them any more than I have? If I'm ever in the DC/DMV area again for an event, I will definitely give them a call.
