I haven't had to complain about customer service in a minute on Yelp so it sorta-kinda makes me sad to have to do it today. It was Easter weekend and I had all three of my children in town. After our amazing sushi feast (although NONE of us should should've been the least bit hungry!) we agreed to go to SweetFrog. This is another childhood memory unlocked that they wanted to revisit. The 3 young ladies working this Sun., 4/5/26 at the White Oak location completely turned me off. They absolutely did NOT deserve my money but, at the end of the day, they got the last laugh because my dumb tail stayed and paid anyway. I will confidently swear they may have actually felt a little disdain about our presence. They were NOT friendly or helpful. Not only did they not speak, acknowledge our presence in any manner, or even smile ... they were borderline rude as if it were our fault so many of the flavors weren't working/ready to serve. This location clearly has a decent following ... it stayed busy while we were there. Good for corporate (MTY Food Group/Kahala Brands) but they might want to remind their staff that sometimes non-Latino customers may come in and our money is legit too. Also, this location was wayyy too unkempt and dingy for me. Sadly, the whole area looks dirty and unloved ... not at all how I remember White Oak from 20 years ago. However, SweetFrog might want to seriously address the cleanliness of this location. The staff were not busy to the degree where they could not properly clean with something other than dry paper towels. There was not a wet rag, bleach wipes, microfiber rag, nor cleanser, in sight. Also, we all agreed the toppings (wet nuts, Oreo cookies, white chocolate chips, etc. as pictured below) tasted stale. None of us finished our overpriced cups of potentially bacteria-ridden froyo. Sorry-NOT-Sorry. The only reason I didn't address it then is out of respect for the rare quality time I was enjoying with all 3 of my children. SHAME ON YOU SweetFrog (MTY Food Group/Kahala Brands). This is a Frozen Yogurt Stors I lile thats in the White Oak Shooping Center . Its Off New Hampshire Avenue and Lockwood Drive . This place e has a huge parking area outside as youvwalk un its next door to subway and hala restaurant. As you walk inside its atmosphere is aimed toward kids and young adults as well as adults . Among the alls near the back ir has a little of Flavors of Frozen Yougurt . I love peanut butter flavor , Blueberry, And Chocolate. Near the cashier arwa the have a case with all thd toppings you could evercwant gummy bears , chocolate Chios, And so much more. But the prices are reasonable sometimes to high prices at times. Im worried about only one staff member helping there where it should be a two-minute thing for safety measures and security reasons. I tried getting a hold of the ne in charge of the store to get jibs there but he has be unreachable and I have no idea why . I filled out an online application full full or part time jibs here as ling as im trained right . I live the frozen yogurts there . Its been a while and I hope tobgo back there skmeday . Inside has a huge lounge area but the tables and chairs could be bigger for adults and keep the small ones for the kids only . If you love this place as ibdo then this place is for you. I hung out in this store for more than an hour a few days ago. Nobody else walked through the door that whole time. Despite this, the one employee on duty seemed mildly put out to wait on me. The store is dirty and worn out. The bench needs a new coat of paint. The restroom needs to be renovated; it's disgusting. Some of the taps weren't working. If the owner doesn't plan to shut down this location, they simply need to invest in fixing it up. Do yourself a favor, and go someplace else for your frozen treats. read more

I went in with my daughter to get her sweet treat. As we are serving our ice cream we can hear the two young employees gossiping very loudly about their personal altercations using much profanity. One of the employees claimed to have made a young ladies head "dibble like a basketball." As me and my daughter got closer to the toppings section, they continued to use very loud profanity which I do not appreciate around my 8 year old. By the time I got to my car they had already locked the door and turned the sign off and it wasn't even 8:50pm. I will not be coming back, not only because of the TERRIBLE service, but a very foul smell. Those young ladies need to be put to work because CLEARLY it's not happening at this location. read more

Nutella, hot fudge, marshmallow sauce, sprinkles, fresh fruit, fruity pebbles, smores, cheesecake, heath chunks, shaved coconut, flavor balls...the list goes on and on. You can customize everything yourself and they weigh it at the end. A personal favorite is original tart with strawberry, kiwi, coconut, and a few dabs of marshmallow and nutella sauce. Yup. This location is always clean. And usually our experience is at least a 4-star but today was 3. The sign read that sauces were available upon request. So we asked and she said there wasn't any. Then I asked if I could give my phone number for points and she said the system was down. So not great-no sign for that announcement. Historically my experience at various Sweet Frogs in this area have poor communication for customers. I never know what we will experience from visit to visit and more and more I am ready to stop coming this chain. read more

I recently tried Sweet Frog for the first time in SC and absolutely loved it, so when I realized there was one not far from home I was excited. Needless to say the presentation, service and quality of this location certainly doesn't match my first experience. The location wasn't clean - when you're dealing with sweets extra care is needed to ensure things aren't sticky, messy, etc....needless to say the staff obviously didn't care. Upon walking in there was syrup and fixings on the floor, no one greeted or even acknowledged you. The flavors of yogurt seemed limited and the fixings options weren't plentiful. Even more so than the limitations of the fixings they seemed old, stuck together and just not appealing. There were little details that the first place had that I was disappointed to see this location skimped on - specifically cut up or off the stem maraschino cherries, if I'm adding cherries to my yogurt, surely I don't want to dig my hands in it to pick up stems, etc. Ironically there was also no outdoor setting, which was frustrating giving how beautiful of an evening it was and how cold the temperature was in the store. We ultimately ended up asking could we just move a couple of chairs outside. Overall, I wasn't pleased. I'm not giving up on sweet frog but I doubt I'll revisit this location. I'll drive further for better quality and service. read more

I came in yesterday and was greeted at the door which was very friendly! The young lady at the front was very helpful with my questions! The counters were clean for the first time ever and the floors weren't sticky (thats a first)!!! When it came time to checkout the line was a little long but the young lady again was super friendly! The frozen yogurt was the only positive part of my journey to sweet frog on this fine friday night. My friends and I arrived at 8:15 and half of the toppings were closed. We respectfully asked if we could have some of these toppings and she looked at us like we were crazy. She made angry gestures and rushed to the back room. I asked what the unlabeled toppings were and she answered coldly and rolled her eyes. We were forced to eat in the car as she stacked the chairs so we were unable to sit. While she was cleaning she threw containers across the counter and was yelling at herself. As we left she locked the door and closed the restaurant over 30 minutes before it was closing time. People tried to enter at 8:35 and she wouldn't acknowledge their presence and they had to leave and were not able to enjoy dessert!! read more

I think a big enough thing to have hit the Tundra of Alaska, like I'm guessing Sarah Palin can see Russia and a FroYo spot from her house. This is the latest one in my parents 'hood and it's cute. My sister is a fan of theirs so I got a few groupons and headed over with the sibs. I have a hard time fulfilling the $10 limit to fully take advantage of my snazzy coupon, but thanks to young people always packing the place, I just seem like a generous person whenever I go and "pay" for others. No, no thank YOU. I would have had to pay in nickels... If you've been to one you've been to them all. I had seen this place for months before I bothered going inside - but I'm glad I did. I admit that I might have been the only person who didn't realize froyo=DIY. I was a bit annoyed, but that was my own fault. The place is bright and clean and has a few tables if you want to eat inside. They have a good array of flavors, some of which are yogurt and a few which are sorbet. I was disappointed that they didn't have some of the sorbet flavors I had seen on the website, but that comes with the territory. The toppings bar was pretty clean, well-stocked, and the toppings weren't spilling into each other. It was very clear that the staff takes the time to replenish when they need to, which can be a problem with a serve yourself setup. The prices are fairly reasonable. I didn't see the weight breakdown, but for 3 people with a good amount of toppings, the total was only $12 and some change. I also like that you get a punch on the loyalty card for each item, rather than for each visit. We'll definitely be back. read more

I prefer the Wheaton location better. This one was very crowded and the sign says they close at 10 but they were mopping the floor @8pm with a store full of customers, which made walking tricky. The Wheaton also has more of the "traditional" flavors, like taro, which I love. The White Oak location seems to feature a lot of what I call the "Baskin Robbins" type flavors, like cake batter. They did have tart here, which is my second favorite. And I tried some of the coconut flavor, which was delicious. For toppings the only thing I ever get is mochi and these were fresh and yummy. The parking at this location is much easier than at Wheaton. The ancient strip mall in which this Sweet Frog is located is busy but has ample parking, especially if you are willing to walk a bit. It is also much easier to get in and out of this lot. Still I prefer Wheaton, in a combo trip to H Mart, and for some taro! A solid 3 star read more

Loved this place!!! In my opinion the frozen yogurt here is MUCH better in regards to "realistic" taste than Frozen Yo and a few of the other frozen yogurts spots around the area. Brand spanking new to White Oak and I must say a nice addition to the area. This ole shopping center needs some more new blood to get it going. Sweet Frog bills themselves as premium frozen yogurt and one can easily see why. They have an excellent selection of the cold stuff and for me and my sweet tooth taste buds it satisfies just right. Walking in you are greeted by a nice smiling staff and they explain everything to you and even give you a couple of little sample cups which by the way makes for selecting even more difficult. Their frozen yogurt is quite on the sweet side of life in a pleasant way and very creamy smooth. However narrowing it down was easy for me, between the Irish mint or the cake batter which really does taste just like real cake batter. Since the sparkling clean pastelee coloured interior reminded me so much of someones birthday cake I settled for the cake batter and topped it off with coconut, almonds and Reese's crumble. The selection of toppings alone is beyond what anybody could want or need with dozens and dozens to choose from. So with all of this going for them and plus they are giving out "Loyalty Cards" they will have no problem getting me to come back real soon at least before it gets too cold outside when frozen delights won't interest me much. PS forgot to mention but all of those funky late 1960's mod styled table tops in the place rotate I mean they really swirl all about I liken it to a DJ's turn table they even have an indentation so you can spin it. This is the dirtiest Sweet frog I've been to (and I've visited quite a few). First off the is a weirdly funky smell like old dirty dish rags in the place. Walls are dirty. Paint chipping and peeling. Some tables arent cleaned thoroughly. Then there's the yogurt dispensers. So the staff doesn't bother to wipe when there are spills so its old dried yogurt on some of them. Then the toppings... So you know when u slice strawberries and leave them for a while in the fridge and they soften a little and the get ever so slightly effervescent? Yeah...not cool. I had to ask for a do over (I was starving waiting for am oil change at sears. I was desperate) Blueberries squished...I ended up getting a small tart and watermelon. No fruit toppings...no toppings at all. Shame on you Sweet frog. read more

My granddaughter loves Sweet Frog. She and her grandfather have been to the Four Corners location, but today was our first visit to Sweet Frog together and at this location. As is popular these days, you select your cup and then fill it as much as you want with a wide variety of yogurts--sugar free, non-fat, and flavor after flavor. The yogurt dispensers look like something that could fly an airplane. I think you can select one of a pair of flavors, or mix both on each station. After you choose your flavor, or flavors, you hit the topping bar. There are fruits, cereals, crushed candy bars, gummy worms (I mistakenly called them gummy bears and got a "are you for real?" look from granddaughter.) You then weigh your yogurt cups and pay per ounce. I tasted husbands combo of chocolate and "Mounds bar" and granddaughter's chocolate and vanilla. It was good frozen yogurt and lots of choices. I haven't been to Wheaton or Four Corners locations so can't compare, But I'm pretty sure with granddaughter's love of Sweet Frog I will soon be an expert on all things Sweet Frog. read more

Ice cream was good, but the store was filthy. The floor needed to be mopped, and the ice cream dispensers were covered with crusted ice cream. To the staff's credit, they were cleaning the seating area. The floor and ice cream dispensers just resembled a dirty bathroom in a football stadium. It spoiled the experience. read more

I feel pretty conflicted about this place. The positives include: good yogurt, wide variety of toppings and reasonable prices. The primary negative is that there were religious posters on the wall and I would really rather not be subjected to religious ideology while shopping and especially not when my kids are with me.I would happily go there if the place was secular. read more

I would give this place a whole 5 ....I would give them a 100....their problem is the faces of their employees ... They have these like on inviting face to themselves that is like please kill me.... I am all for there yogurt and delicious toppings the problem is that every time you want to grab toppings the person in that section gets very frustrated and angry if you move the spoons around its like don't touch it when you actually have to grab a spoon to put toppings on your yogurt.... I bought groupon deal for this place so had to go there. When I reach there its a quite surprise to see fun lit place in that complex with nice bright colors. The place was busy with kids around enjoying their trials of different flavors there. The staff is extremely friendly and cheerful. They helped me walk through how the whole buying your favorite yogurt process works. We have one store coming up in laurel soon, can't wait for that addition in laurel. I am definitely going back again with friends and family. This place is really good with lot of options to try and treat your self without adding ton of calories like other sweets. read more

Well positioned for a post-bowling treat... 14 flavors, 60+ toppings. The price for a small came out about the same as Ben & Jerry's, but the kids enjoyed the experience much more.
