The owner and her daughter were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the whole place smells AMAZING! And maybe you're not a doughnut person, they have so many more options: ice cream, milkshakes, lattes, popcorn. I was so tempted to try a milkshake but next time. The place is clean and colorful. There was a little kid sitting down waiting for his doughnuts that randomly said "Why is it so peaceful in here?" And I couldn't agree more. Between the lighting, soft music and delicious aroma it was quite peaceful. The service only made this place better. Everyone was very friendly and patient and you can tell it's a family business. Highly recommend.

It's nice and open inside and there are a few tables to sit at. Since I wasn't in a hurry, I decided to hang out. They have a shaved ice section with quite the variety of options... it's all pictures though, no descriptions. I decided to try #8 because of the variety of fruit in the picture. I paid for it and they gave me a buzzer -- not used to buzzers for dessert spots, so that's neat! As I was paying, I observed all the snacks on the counter. Yummy! I grabbed a nearby table and just hung out. Before long my buzzer went off and I received a surprisingly large plate. They asked me if I wanted crema and I was like yes! And that was a great decision, as it added a delightful sweetness (not too much thankfully) to the whole package. I gotta say, it was more than I was expecting. All this fruit pretty much made the shaved ice at the core invisible. But wow it was so good! There's a lot more to explore, including plenty of savory options. It seemed a little pricey to me, but I'm eager to come back and check out the rest of the menu!

One thing that REALLY irritated me when we went on Monday is that they were closed ... bad on me for not checking their hours So we came back today. Briefly saw Toni come in for literally a minute as we were placing our orders, but she rushed back out. The mart is on the right side, while the cafe is on the left side with casual seating/tables. Order your food at the counter and they bring it to your table when ready. We ordered caldereta, sisig, dinuguan, BBQ pork skewers, fresh lumpia and for the sweets: Milo iskrambol, mango float, ube buchi, and because we spent over $40, I got a FREE mais con yelo! Heck yeah!! Of course, the kids loved all the sweets! They couldn't pick a favorite between all the frozen drinks: "all were sooo good!" Food was all good also! Their dinuguan was ON POINT... almost as good as mine! Will definitely be back next time we're in the area!

Tried this place a few weeks ago with my girlfriend…read more I had a fantastic milkshake (the Monster Ink with Oreos and chocolate chip cookies) while my girlfriend opted for the Rainbow Road rolled ice cream (with Fruity Pebbles) in a waffle taco. The portions were huge, the ice cream was tasty, and the presentation was great! The staff was kind and friendly and we appreciated being able to see our orders getting made. Be warned that this is not a place for a little treat - we easily could have split one rolled ice cream and been perfectly satisfied. The space was a little small with limited seating but it was very inviting all the same. Certainly hope to make it back very soon and try more of their menu!

So, creme roulee - rolled ice cream - was a dessert trend from over 10 years ago, but I have never…read moreheard of it. This style of ice cream originated in France. Rolled ice cream is made by flattening an ultra-thin layer of ice cream out and then rolling it up. See the videos I posted if you've never experienced it. The flavors of rolled ice cream that I tried are ube and blueberry. The blueberry had a blueberry puree on top. The ube was served with whipped cream and toasted coconut. Delightful. I only wish that I had a double espresso to go with it. The flavors of rolled ice cream that are most popular here, so far, are: 1.) Birthday Cake 2.) Strawberry Cheesecake, and 3.) Cookies and cream The team here was also passionate about the ube flavor. We also tried the strawberry yogurt shake, which was delicious. BTW, someone ordered a croffle and it smelled like a buttery breakfast. It is a croissant pressed into a waffle form. We *needed* to get one to share. They have many toppings, but if you're going to order this croffle for breakfast, the plain whipped cream (vs. the mango cream) is not sweet, but creamy and satisfying. The croffle is substantial and eggy. It is very surprising because it's hearty bite after bite. There are no light and flakey bites and before you know it, it's gone. You get your dollar's worth, here. It's a good breakfast. And you can dip the croffle into your house coffee which is even better. I also put some of the croffle cream into the coffee. The house coffee is made from a machine and tastes dark and sweet. Yum. I am wondering where else you would find this no-longer trending trend - of French rolled ice cream - in the DC area. I found 10 places on yelp but only 3 mentioned rolled ice cream in the search result descriptions. The staff here are friendly, informative and patient. The environment is simple, yet elegant. A definite new texture and flavor adventure was found here, to be sure. Thank you, Laurel!

If you're a student at the University of Maryland in College Park, this place is super accessible. If you're not affiliated with the university, I recommend visiting on a Sunday afternoon, like we did--parking was free that day. To make things easy, park in the lot closest to the Stamp Student Union building. Park on the top floor, and you can walk directly into the building from there. The ice cream was fresh and absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of flavors to choose from. Each of us tried different scoops, and every single one was good. I don't eat ice cream often, but this was worth the trip. I even ended up finishing the rest of my daughter's scoop (she had her fill, so I happily helped out)!

The Chicken tenders weren't tender and the coating was over-salted. The full rack of BBQ Pork ribs was a winner, tender and meaty with great flavor. The Slow-smoked Chicken is delicious and a nice, moist change from the usual chicken treatments. The Smoked Chicken Wings were great too. I wouldn't get the Texas Beef Brisket or the Carolina Pulled Pork again, but they weren't bad, just lots of other choices that were better! The sides here are stand-outs too. I almost didn't get the vegetarian Collard Greens since I love collards cooked with meat but these were delicious -- they never made it to the microwave, they were so vinegary-good when I sampled them cold lol! The Mac & Cheese was good and cheesy. The baked beans were good but again vegetarian where I'd prefer meat included and I didn't care for the sweet sauce. The Skillet Cornbread is the best I've had, slightly sweet with a good corn flavor that made me decide to buy a WHOLE skillet rather than just the generously portioned slice next time, especially since it's such a good value. I do regret not trying the coleslaw and potato salad so again, next time. The little rolls are tasty too, moist and slightly sweet but it's a pity they aren't burger-size so you can make a sandwich with all that delicious meat and sides.

Cookies & Cookie Dough tastes like a hug you didn't know you needed. Banana Bourbon Caramel feels like a sweet little secret. Even the seasonal flavors are adorable here for a good time, not a long time. Everyone inside is smiling in that soft, "life is good for a minute" way. And I'm just standing there, cone in hand, feeling like the main character in a very wholesome dessert movie. Jubilee doesn't just serve ice cream it serves tiny moments of joy, sprinkled generously, scooped gently, and handed to you with a smile. College Park, you're lucky. This place is pure sweetness.
