To be honest, I was in deep shit cause I jokingly told my daughter that my wife and I are not her parents and how I found my daughter in a trash can and I had to get her to stop crying before I get home because I know my wife is going to stab me while she goes on ranting about spending nine months carrying her only for me to traumatize our daughter about finding her in a fucking trash can. Look... it's my generational trauma that I'm passing down to her because my dad did the same shit to me also.... It's called tradition. But I digress... So I bribed my daughter with ice cream and I get to live another day stab free. Some pretty damn fine ice cream at that too...

I love ice cream especially during off peak season. I got the vegan ice cream - strawberry flavor. I wish that I got a bigger size but it was delicious. I was happy to know that the vegan ice cream was not soy based, The owner and the female employee was very nice and welcoming to our group. Its a small ice cream shop, but the ice cream is very fresh and they use high quality ingredients. No stabilizers in their product. I will bring my mini tribe back here

The Chicken tenders weren't tender and the coating was over-salted. The full rack of BBQ Pork ribs was a winner, tender and meaty with great flavor. The Slow-smoked Chicken is delicious and a nice, moist change from the usual chicken treatments. The Smoked Chicken Wings were great too. I wouldn't get the Texas Beef Brisket or the Carolina Pulled Pork again, but they weren't bad, just lots of other choices that were better! The sides here are stand-outs too. I almost didn't get the vegetarian Collard Greens since I love collards cooked with meat but these were delicious -- they never made it to the microwave, they were so vinegary-good when I sampled them cold lol! The Mac & Cheese was good and cheesy. The baked beans were good but again vegetarian where I'd prefer meat included and I didn't care for the sweet sauce. The Skillet Cornbread is the best I've had, slightly sweet with a good corn flavor that made me decide to buy a WHOLE skillet rather than just the generously portioned slice next time, especially since it's such a good value. I do regret not trying the coleslaw and potato salad so again, next time. The little rolls are tasty too, moist and slightly sweet but it's a pity they aren't burger-size so you can make a sandwich with all that delicious meat and sides.

I don't recall any meat in the greens. And, the Mac and cheese, I enjoyed the texture, but wish the flavor profile had sharp cheddar cheese, but it was still good. Calling the selection good would be an understatement. Flavors and styles lined the walls, and they have even introduced seasonal spring drinks alongside their custards and Italian ice. I ordered a gelati, which came with two flavors and the option to add a warm brownie in the center. They also offer prepackaged pints to take home. The only item that could not be sampled was the not fried chicken, their iconic Shark Tank inspired creation shaped like a chicken leg, where the novelty lies more in the form than the flavor. Some flavors had intriguing names like Tiger Blood and Midnight Fantasy, and the staff were more than happy to explain each one in detail. *Midnight Fantasy: featured a chocolate base mixed with chunks of brookie. It leaned heavier with a slightly grainy texture from the cookie pieces, but the chocolate itself was not overly sweet. It worked best when paired with something lighter. The brookie itself was well balanced, with a fudgy brownie component and a cookie that had a snickerdoodle like quality. *Mango Italian Ice: had a clean, fruity flavor and a smooth texture. It was not overly icy and paired nicely with the custard on top. *Honey Milk: was my favorite of everything I tried. The honey flavor came through strongly, both in taste and aroma, while the milky richness added a smooth creaminess. It paired beautifully with the Italian ice and balanced the richness of the Midnight Fantasy. *Spring Break Soda: was an interesting take on a Sprite style drink, with kiwi syrup, blue raspberry syrup, grenadine, and cold foam. It definitely delivered a sugar rush. There was a tropical feel, but it may be best suited for those with a serious sweet tooth. There is likely something for everyone here, and the friendly service makes it easy to find your match. While I would probably skip the sodas, the Italian ice and custard stood out for their quality.

It's a Latin based dessert bar, with some interesting twists to it. I found their menu on the wall a little bit confusing, but they have a QR code you can point to and get a lot more information, and the woman at the counter was also incredibly helpful. Honestly, this is probably their weakest area because a lot of these items seem to be in house creations -- even with a picture, I'm not quite sure what a "pink ocean" is. Or maybe I'm not as worldly as I think I am. :) I wound up getting a mango aqua fresca, and a pile of nance. Nance are actually another good example of a bit of confusion. Looking at the picture, especially on a phone, I wasn't entirely sure what they were -- some kind of baked good? -- but the employee quickly cleared up the confusion and told me they were a kind of fruit in a sauce. They're good, though I wouldn't order them again -- they've got that sapote flavour that cilantro has, and I can't do that (personal preference thing, nothing against them). The sauce on them was interesting, and added a weird bit of spice and sweetness to them. It was good, except for that one thing. :) The aqua fresca was amazing, and I definitely enjoyed it. I think I'll have to read the menu at home a bit, figure out what I want to order, and go back!
