The pictures and menu seemed promising, but I left a bit disappointed. The place looked relatively new, a nice looking place to hangout for late night cravings. The service was normal, no sample offers or anything to mention. The cookies and cream cookies were delicious with chunks or Oreos and other toppings, but it was a little dry as if it wasn't made the same day. The cookies and cream ice cream tasted like it was from a grocery store, nothing that makes it stand out as a local business. I'm not from Florida, but I've had better local ice cream back home. The $11 price seemed reasonable, if the ice cream tasted better. I'd probably check out other dessert shops in the area instead.
This was my first time trying Baked Bear and they did not disappoint. Insomnia cookie is down the street from Baked Bear. I decided to get cookies from Insomnia and Baked bear, and let me tell you Baked Bear cookies were thin ( not too thin) light and tasty. They blew Insomnia out of the water. The ice cream coupled with the cookies are to die for. The establishment was clean, the restroom was clean and the service was great.
If you've got a sweet tooth (or a full-blown sugar obsession like me), this place is dangerous in the best way possible. I stopped by The Baked Bear in Miami Beach and honestly, it was dessert heaven from start to finish. I went for a warm, gooey cookie sandwich, one side the birthday cake cookie, tasting just like a fresh-baked birthday treat straight from the oven, and the other the white chocolate macadamia nut with that perfect nutty sweetness. I added Nutella chocolate chunk on a second round (because why not?) and went all in with caramel pretzel fudge ice cream, sweet, salty, and decadent with bits of crunch that made every bite ridiculously good. Then came the toasted s'more creation, pure nostalgia, with that mix of melted marshmallow flavor and the sea salt caramel swirl that perfectly balanced all the sweetness. I topped it off with M&Ms and a caramel drizzle, and it was the ultimate sugar high, in the best possible way. Big shoutout to Veronica, who truly made the experience. She's the bakery manager and clearly knows her stuff, she didn't just take my order, she curated it. Her recommendations were spot-on, and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. It's rare to get that kind of personal, warm service these days, and she absolutely overdelivered. The place itself is super clean, bright, and welcoming, with plenty of comfy spots to sit back and enjoy your treat, whether you want to cool off from the Miami heat or just savor your sugar moment. If you love cookies, ice cream, or just that pure joy combo of warm and cold desserts, The Baked Bear is a must-stop. Every bite felt made with care m, and you'll probably leave grinning (and a little sugar-buzzed) like I did.
It's been almost 4 years since I had a cookie sandwich from The Baked Bear and is still as decadent as I remember! Really good cookies (now they do have cakey brownies and fudgy brownies!), thick but creamy ice cream, they are open late enough to go after dinner! Last time I visited, it was a window-counter service (because of COVID), now they have 3 tables and high top counter, in case you want to enjoy some frozen treats in the middle of a chilly night. Since it's located in Pike & Rose, there are several tables outside. We decided to split a cookie sandwich, since it's huge! Definitely 2 people can share one of these and feel satisfied. We opted for 2 different cookies: Cookie Monster (blue dough, chocolate chips and Oreos) and gooey butter cookie (simply a great buttery but chewy cookie!) with dark chocolate ice cream (next time will order the mud pie one! The ice cream was really creamy, rich chocolate-y, not so sweet (duh, dark chocolate) but still decadent and has the perfect texture! Holds really well even when they hot press the cookies! I've only tried: snickerdoodle, Cookie Monster and gooey butter, definitely the gooey butter is top tier from all of them! It goes pairs well with any of the ice creams. I can't wait to come back and try their strawberry matcha cookie!
The staff was very nice. The place wasn't busy when we went so it was chill and we could look around. They have several ice cream flavors and a ton of cookies. Some of the cookies and brownies are gluten free which is great! We personally don't end up making an ice cream sandwich out of it so that may have been better than the items separately but overall everything was good but nothing super outstanding.
Wow, does this place satisfy your sweet tooth. I absolutely enjoyed my order and my family and I were stoked to come across this place while we walked through the Rockville Metro center. The location for this spot was beautiful, especially in the evening and packed full of people walking around on dates, with family and even just for shopping. The metro center was a treat to walk through with so many shops and delicious food with a wonderful energy and relaxing vibes. I recommend this spot and the many that surround it!

The price is very good especially for the amount you get. We both got a single scoop and they were not stingy. The service was also good, the gentleman working behind the counter was friendly and apologized for the wait even when it was obvious that he was very busy working by himself to finish online orders and help people in line. I would say the only thing is there isn't much space to sit as it's a pretty small little shop.

Great ice cream sandwiches, and bespoke to boot! One can choose the cookies sandwiching the ice cream (can be different). They are baked fresh daily and include snickerdoodle, birthday cake, chocolate chip, Cookie Monster, ect. Ice cream flavors are mostly cookie and chocolate-based, with a few fruit options (strawberry shortcake or blueberry crumble). One could also order a brownie bottom sundae (brownie baked in a foil round container) and topped with choice of ice cream flavor(s). Portions are huge and can feed 2 or 3 people. This time just had a scoop of strawberry shortcake flavored ice cream in a waffle cone. So satisfying and creamy, and not too sweet. The single scoop is a really nice size so I appreciate that The brownie in the cake tin thing was also pretty good, especially as someone who does not like brownies. There was only a little hot fudge drizzle though Not a lot of flavors, but they have a couple interesting ones and a couple standard ones. The cookies were ok. The gingerbread cookie was kind of mid. The white macadamia cookie was also mid but maybe a little better? I think the cookies are mid because they're meant to be eaten with ice cream? But if you're looking for a really good cookie, this is probably not the place. Perhaps the flavor would be OK in conjunction with the ice cream. read more

I highly recommend this location if you are visiting Miami Beach. Check it out. Very delicious. They make ice cream sandwiches. I had Toasted S'mores. They have inside sitting area. Their AC working well. It is very cool inside if you want to sit and cool down from Miami heat. Service was great. You might want to park somewhere and walk. The cookie ends up being just gooey enough, but also still has the texture of crunchy chew that I definitely look for. When you walk in, you can see all the delicious cookies and brownies and next to them the ice cream-- everything looked fantastic, but especially the cookies! We were greeted and given friendly suggestions about everything available-- their specialty is ice cream sandwiches and my goodness, we had one made of brownies and one made half brownie half cookie and both were absolutely fantastic. Single scoops here are huge. It costs a little over $7 for the smallest scoop in a cup, which I thought was a bit pricey, but they do give you a large amount of ice cream so the price makes sense. I got the caramel pretzel fudge and it's pretty good -- I liked the saltiness of the ice cream and the crunchy fudge pieces. The pretzels do taste a little stale but they add a nice texture to the otherwise very creamy ice cream. I wish there had been more crunchy bits tbh! I know they're famous for their custom cookie sandwiches, so I'd definitely try that next time when I'm craving a decadent treat. The cookies looked huge and they had really fun flavors and colors. Line moves very fast and they let you try different flavors which is nice! There's a limited amount of seating inside. Also this place is open super late which is convenient if you crave late night treats. read more

Oh my GOD! I'm rarely on the Beach and have passed this place once before and didn't stop. It was right next to where I had dinner so I popped in - and I am SO glad I did. This was INCREDIBLE. If you've been to Diddy Riese in LA- this is just like it; and I've been looking for something comparable since I first tried it several years ago. Got the cookie ice cream sandwich - two chocolate chip cookies; with the smores ice cream inside, and of course, warmed up. This was chocolates, gooey, cinnamony somehow, and just unbelievable. The worker asked if we wanted it cut in half and perfectly sliced it in two which was more than enough for both of us! Can't imagine finishing an entire sandwich on my own. Every bite we took we would say "omg omg this is so good!" I officially won't leave Miami Beach again without stopping here first. read more

The service was absolutely amazing! Every human that works here was so kind and helpful. Now on to the goodies - the ice cream - yummy! I tried a few samples and settled for the blackberry bramble and chocolate pretzel. It was so so delicious. Great flavor and quality. They have lots of cookie options you can have as just cookies or you can make ice cream sandwiches. Lots of ice cream flavor and cookie options to mix and match. I tried the chocolate chip cookie, the gooey cake, and s'more. All delicious but the gooey cake was my #1. Can't wait to come here soon to try their new cookie options and ice cream! read more

Their most popular item is to get a ice cream cookie sandwich, and you don't have to get the same two cookies; you can do one cookie for the top (ex: funfetti) and a different cookie for the bottom (ex: cookies & cream). I have no idea how this place has so many stars- we came here cause it looked absolutely amazing from the photos and reviews. I got a chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich with some kind of almond toffee cake ice cream. The cake in it was stale and hard- and the cookies were not good even just on their own. My husband, who normally eats anything, could barely finish his. He got the same cookies as me with cookie dough ice cream, there was hardly any cookie dough in it!
