Placed an order through Uber Eats. Probably around 4: 30 pm. Finally cancelled for full refund at about 6: 30. Funny thing is, the Uber Eats app kept saying order was on the way. They never even put the order together. It was probably less than a 10 minute drive. They were getting a good tip too. Would not recommend read more

The cookies are great no question about that. But the customer service is consistently disappointing. I've had multiple experiences where I call ahead to ask if cookies are available, and I'm told, "Yes, we have all flavors." Then I get there, and they tell me they're out or only have a few left. That's extremely frustrating, especially when I called specifically to avoid that situation. It's the lack of communication and care that gets me. I really want to love this place, but the inconsistency is hard to ignore. If they could tighten up the service, this spot would be a 10/10. read more

I try to make a stop here every time I'm in South Beach. Out of all the cookie places I've ever tried, and there's a lot that's been popping up, Insomnia Cookies is still the OG. Their cookies are the freshest and the meltiest. Great for late night after-party snacking or dessert any time of the day! When I went recently, the young lady at the counter didn't seem to want to be there for some reason, but we all have those days at work. Lol She wasn't rude though and I never had a bad experience with the service. read more

After a day at the beach we wanted to bring some cookies back to the hotel. We passed by this store so we stopped in: small but the employee was nice and said the cookies would be out hot and fresh: What we swallowed: *CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER CUP: First let me start off by saying we each got to choose one cookie but my hubby loved these so much that I gave him the other half of mine, yep, they were THAT good. *OATMEAL CHOCOLATE WALNUT: I like a bit of nuts in my cookies and walnuts are a second fav to praline but this was just yummy yummy. A rich, thick, chewy cookie.. delicious. *CONFETTI: Confetti is fun. A sugar cookie with confetti and white chocolate chips. It was good and the girls were happy. Warm, delicious cookies. These were bomb. Get some. read more

Super good cookies. Warm and flavorful. We ordered four I think and got six! The mint chocolate chip was a standout, as was the red velvet. Quality, Quantity and Price point. All positive. read more

I've wanted to stop by Insomnia Cookies for a while, mainly because I've been on their mailing list for so long without getting anything from here haha. So National Cookie Day was a great excuse to go, although I mistook the promotional emails for their giving a free cookie away for the weekend instead of only on that day. No problem, I went with a Classic cookie and a Deluxe cookie to buy. The problem actually was that there was only one guy working who was filling boxes with cookie orders while, for some reason, a woman stood and watched him work. Was he being evaluated? Was she in training? Couldn't she have helped? Because it took 10 minutes of standing at the counter for me to be acknowledged while I watched the guy fill box after box and hand an order to people sitting at the only seating area, which was the window counter. When the staffer finally greeted me and asked for my order (and informed me that the National Cookie Day promotion ended), he inputted the order into the computer and left me to pay while he went again into the back and went back and forth, filling more orders. The credit card processing timed out, and he asked me to insert my card to redo the transaction, or so it looked. I told him I just got two notifications of the same charge on my credit card, so I was charged twice for the order. He said he would cancel the duplicate charge and proceeded to spend 15 minutes on the phone with someone to figure out how to do it. In that time, I saw a couple waiting to order behind me leave, then come back, hoping to order. The staffer told me the charges were removed and gave me two short transaction receipts. He filled my box with my two cookies, and I was on my way. The problem is that the two transaction receipts I got from him showed that two cards that aren't mine had charges canceled. One was for a MasterCard, and one was for a Visa card. I used an American Express card to make my purchase. Now I have two transactions of the same amount from Insomnia Cookies on my card that I have to dispute. The cookies weren't even worth this hassle and waiting. You can tell from my photo that the Classic cookie is much smaller than the Deluxe cookie, and for a dollar more, you're much better off getting a Deluxe cookie. I heated them for 10 seconds in the microwave since they were cold, and the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup cookie became incredibly greasy and mushy. This goes to show how much butter/shortening they use in the cookies. The White Chocolate Macadamia was as expected, maybe could have used more white chocolate. The Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cookie was nice where the peanut butter cup pieces were, but again, I had to scoop up the cookie because the batter was falling apart. I threw out half it, and I never throw cookies away, so it was a downer. I'm disappointed because I'd been looking forward to trying Insomnia Cookies, and the experience at the store and the quality of the cookies were not expected at all. I may consider going back there for another chance once I get the duplicate card charges removed. read more

I can't recommend these cookies enough. They are always perfectly baked, warm, and delicious!! Their service is wonderful, always attentive and friendly. The chocolate chocolate chunk has to be my favorite cookie ever! read more

Let me start off by saying this review is based solely on my opinion and my opinion alone! The cookies were delicious and fresh, another couple in our party ordered a ice cream sandwich which looked delicious so I may try it one day I would definitely return and recommend this establishment, the only thing wrong was: 1. They only had one option of deluxe cookies and that was salted caramel. read more

In short: no frills cookie joint serving up damn good cookies I take my cookies very seriously... a good chocolate chip cookie makes its way into my tummy multiple times a week. This place has a variety of basic cookies that they do well. No crazy toppings... just good cookies (Tbh some of those crazy topping places have a crappy base cookie ). The classic chocolate chip here is good but the double chocolate mint took my breathe away. The perfect balance of chocolate and mint... it was like a Girl Scout thin mint on steroids!! Prices are decent for what you get. I will be back when in the area. read more

Miami Beach staple cookie place. Very small place but they sell pretty tasty cookies. ( served warm ). ( the cookies are BIG!!! ). Definitely a friendly staff, talkative and attentive. Cons: they take kind of long sometimes and They've also gotten my order wrong a few times but nothing over the top. ( always check ). Favorite cookies: **chocolate chunk** - rich, buttery vanilla cookie filled up up milk chocolate chunks. ( warm, soft and full of chocolate). ** White Chocolate Macadamia ** - A coconut cookie with bits of macadamia nut and creamy white chocolate chips. Good thing about them is that they are open till pretty late incase you have one of those late night cookie cravings. Well recommended!!!! read more

The cookies were obviously the center piece and they were great, just not 5 star unforgettable best-ever can't miss it great. We ordered cookie and ice cream sandwiches. The cookies (great) but the ice cream was just ordinary super-market tasting ice cream. To make gourmet style cookies and pair them up with "basic" ice cream didn't make sense. The place was also tiny, only 2 stools (COVID protocol??) and zero benches or seats outside. Service was 5 stars, very friendly and super quick. Taste was as expected, just didn't blow me away or make me want to run out and tell all my friends. I wouldn't return. read more

Did somebody say #cookies @insomniacookies by far has some of the best tasting cookies you could ever eat. First time I had Insomnia Cookies I was visiting my best friend in Philly. And man am I so happy she introduced me to them. You have a variety of cookies to choose from, our favorite are the sugar and chocolate chunk, but the best part is they are served straight from a warming oven. This allows the cookies to melt in your mouth, literally. Unfortunately for all my Broward folks, this place is wayyyy on South Beach ‍ but if you're ever down there, give them a shout. You won't be disappointed read more

Cookies are very good and not too sweet. The server is very friendly and helpful. This is a must try place if u want a good tasting cookies.

Love the idea of this place. I have a serious tooth and am always on the lookout for a new dessert place to try. I love that the cookies come in a small pizza box or at least that was the case for the half-dozen. I ordered a few different ones to try and I enjoyed most of them but there was an ingredient, not sure what, that showed up in a couple that just didn't do it for me. I appreciate being able to get a pint of ice cream with my cookies as ice cream makes everything better. I'll be back! read more

This used to be my go to for multiple orders for my guests at my hotel and staff. However, after ordering today, I will not be returning to this location or ordering from here again. I placed an order and an hour and a half later, I'm still waiting for it to arrive. I checked the tracking number just to see that the tracker continuously states that my order of 6 cookies was still "baking". After finally getting a hold of someone at the store, I was spoken to in the most unprofessional manner. The delivery time quoted was 20-30 minutes, not over 1.5 hours. The individual on the phone met me with attitude and let me know my order already left. Her extreme lack of concern or empathy when I asked to cancel the order was off putting. She stated there was nothing she could do and I would have to cancel the order myself (had the option been available, I would not have called). It's a shame that service has declined over the years, especially for something as simple as a cookie shop. Update 1/3: I received a text message 2 hours late saying the order arrived but it never did. (Address and phone number were correct). read more

First I'm going to say the service was very unhappy here. Did not catch a welcoming feeling even though it was National cookie day (which wasn't advertised or spoken about and I had to ask if there was any sort of deal). We got a 12 cookie pack and I'll say the white macadamia is better than the m&m classic. My girl killed all the vegan ones so I'm assuming they were good lol. read more

Late night cookie spot!!!! Arriving at 1 in the morning and there was a long line with only one man working the counter it moved pretty quickly. There is cookies and ice cream available ranging from sugar to double chocolate. I ordered a double chocolate chunk cookie and a double chocolate mint with strawberry cheesecake Ice cream. They heat the cookie up so that it is warm before putting the ice cream on top. Overall a great place for a late night treat. Prices were typical of a cookie spot. read more

It feels kind of silly to write this because Insomnia Cookies is so good- there are no words that'll ever do it justice. But here I go- insanely delicious, perfectly sized cookies served warm and gooey. It really can't get any better. I was in SoBe for 3 days and made a visit each of those days. I was in SoBe for a couple days and found myself craving dessert. Luckily, Insomnia Cookies was close enough that we could walk it. I had definitely heard about the chain and it's hype so I was excited to try it out myself. The store is pretty small. In fact, if there's more than three people in line, it's likely that you'll be waiting outside. This is definitely a place to get your treats and leave. Anyways I ended up trying the oatmeal raisin and white chocolate macadamia and I gotta say both were incredible. The cookies are perfect size. They're warm and soft and definitely hit the spot. I can't wait to get my hands on these cookies again and try out some other flavors. read more

i loooove insomnia.. have it, may as well eat it!! good thing it's too far away on those sleepless nights.. also, i hate south beach, but was in the neighborhood so may as well take advantage.. first discovered ic in (appropriately) philadelphia back in 2013.. a freshly baked cookie ice cream sandwich in a drunken 1am school night stupor?? you own me!! cookie ice cream sandwiches are the way.. back in college at the local chain gas station /junk food haunt (there will never be another cheese-bread like theirs.. they can't even do it anymore) there was an ice cream sandwich called the 'big ed..' best frozen cookie ice cream sandwich to ever come out of a gas station freezer!! well this is the fresh version.. pick your cookie, pick your ice cream, and GO FOR IT!! ok so i didn't go for the ice cream tonight.. i got a snickerdoodle (oh the delicious simplicity), peanut butter chip (because PEANUT BUTTER), and chocolate chunk straight from the oven!! so warm and gooey.. aaauuuggghhhhhhh.. what started out as a monstrously crappy night in south beach turned into a delicious night in south beach.. thanks, insomnia!! read more

Safe yourself some money, the idea of this place is cool but the execution is poor. We went to dine right next door and came here for a quick dessert and were quickly enchanted with the chunky looking cookies they had on display. What you get however is no better than a McDonald's 3 for $1 cookies. We got it with ice cream and the edges of the cookie were really hard and crunchy which was not the soft gooey goodness we were hoping for. I heard so much about Insomnia cookies so I knew I had to try it when I saw their store in South Beach, Miami. I decided to go with the classic with M&Ms and it was served very fresh and very hot. I took one bite and it was a delicious, savory, melt in your mouth taste with a perfect texture. Really good cookie. I would definitely recommend. Terrifying experience in this store. The woman working in the back was screaming profanities at someone while knocking all the supplies on the floor and smashing things onto the floor. The poor guys working didn't even flinch as things flew past their heads... obviously they were used to this. The customers on the other hand were either running out the door or instagramming the action. The worst part... she was picking everything up off the dirty floor, re-stacking it for people to eat off of. So nasty. read more
