We had the best dinner at Moe's last night! We all loved the atmosphere, staff and of course our BBQ! We split the sampler platter for 2 and had enough to feed a third person. We loved the wings with the white sauce and our ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and delicious. Our son enjoyed his hand-breaded chicken fingers that we say were the best we've ever had. We came here the last time we were in the area in 2018 and I couldn't wait to go back. Everything was great. Front staff were super helpful & friendly. We got ribs, pork dinner and 2 kids meals. Was craving some local southern bbq and found Moe's. I'm from K.C and used to great BBQ and Moe's didn't disappoint. Southern style with a more vinegary BBQ sauce it was the perfect touch to their wonderful smoked meats. The bbq chicken wings were perfection. Perfectly smoked and I couldn't decide if I liked their dry rub or sauces better. Bedsides turkey and chicken their specialty is smoked pork. They only smoke beef once a week which is brisket on Wed. I tried their sampler plate and was able to try a little bit of everything. Their smoked turkey was perfection. I typically don't like turkey but there's was moist and had lots of flavor. My second favorite was their pulled pork which was beyond tender. Their pork ribs were also good along with their local homemade sausage. Their jalapeño cornbread was some of the best I've had along with their baked beans, and black eyed peas with okra. We've had a lot of different dishes all great! Tonight was their salad with smoked chicken. I ate every bite! THE BEST SALAD I'VE EVER EATEN! My husband had the sausage plate with Baked Beans. And don't forget their crunchy and tender corn bread!! It's delicious!! Use their red dressing mixed with the white sauce. They should bottle this! Every day is a lunch/dinner special. We see so many bbq restaurants and the food is always just eh. The meat is never warm or juicy and somehow that's supposed to be acceptable, I just never understood that thought. Then, I found Moe's. This place means business! And, amazingly, I got warm and juicy meat!! The pork was so tasty. I don't think I have ever had anything near its level of quality to compare. I'm a potato salad "snob" and theirs did not disappoint because you could taste the freshness and skill put into the salad. The vinegar based Cole slaw had a lot of crisp with a slight touch of sweet. The Mac and cheese was old skool good and definitely should not be overlooked as a side possibility. The corn bread was a nice addition, too. I have never had it served fried as this was and man! It was surprisingly good. The restaurant itself was nice. It's a quick little place with clean tables and a couple tvs inside next to where you would order for dine in or to go. They had some cute artifacts on the wall. One, in particular, brought back so many memories as I recalled my own cassette tape collection. The best part of all was the service. The gals behind the counter are the real deal. While traveling in Orange Beach, we ordered takeout. Overall, really enjoyed the meal. Had the Bama style pork sandwich with the house-made potato chips and coleslaw and the chicken strips. The sandwiches were flavorful but could have used more filling. The chicken tenders were in a light cornmeal breading. The coleslaw was a vinegar based dressing. The chips were good but could have used more seasoning. Also got pudding as a side. It was nothing special but a sweet bite for those who want it. The service was excellent. I sadly have no food pics to share because we were so hungry. My husband, his parents and I vacationed in Orange Beach. We decided to give Moe's a try one day for lunch. I think we all agreed this BBQ was absolutely delicious. I got their sliced smoked turkey sandwich, my husband got a pork plate, my in-laws got ribs and a sandwich. If you order online for pickup you should check the order before leaving the restaurant. We ordered the Thursday specials and extra sides online. Although they had run out of turkey (strange since we ordered at 5:00pm), the online ordering system allowed us to place the order. When we arrived at the restaurant the servers let us know we could just swap out for another main as they were out of turkey, and the rest of the order would stay the same. It took about 30 minutes for the order to get ready, when we got back to the condo we discovered that 4 sides were missing. I contacted mgmt via the email address listed on their website. Have not heard back from them so it appears that they do not want to make this right. A shame, this was one of our favorite restaurants in the area. read more

Decided to go to Moe's Original BBQ for dinner. You go in and place your order and pay. You get drinks when you order and if you want a refill you go back to the front and ask and they will refill your drink. The interior restaurant has seating but it' seemed a little small the more people showed up. It had wall pictures all around which made for a cool atmosphere inside the restaurant. I found a place to sit and waited. They brought me my food after waiting a few minutes. So I ordered the Moe Nachos which includes baked beans, house fried chips, chicken, nacho cheese, red onions, pickled jalapenos, bbq, and white sauce. I was pleasantly surprised at how good they were. The house fried chips made it different than the typical tortilla chip nachos. With everything piled on top I had to eat using a fork. The chicken was really tasty and with all the ingredients mixed up it was like a burst of bbq flavors. I also ordered the Loaded BBQ Tater which is a large baked potato filled with cheese, bbq sauce, baked beans, white sauce, sour cream, chives and chicken. This was also very yummy. It was a little dense as it was a potato but it was just as flavorful as the nachos. It came with cornbread and a side. The corn bread was good. The potato salad was very thick with large chunks of potatoes. BBQ Beans were sweet. Both sides items were flavorful. Overall the service and the food was really good.
