This bar is full of energy. The karaoke lady really sucks. We got here around 1030 pm, We'll, it's almost 2am and still waiting for the one song my daughter put in.. This lady waited all night to let her do a song. We asked about 2 hours into it What's going on? She said that people here were tipping her $2- 10.. so they are more important. 4 hours later she got to sing. read more

Here is the review for Moe and curly's: For over two years now, we've requested songs to be added to 108th & Maple Street location. First it was- fill out your requests & give them to me & we will put them in in April or November. Never happened & they have never added these songs. I find they cater to certain people...This time I spoke up & said something and I got told you have to request songs through QR Code. WTF- it is never the same story. Another time it was - well if there isn't a good veryer don't download it. Well, I have sang & I do Kareoke at other places & they are savy enough to get great versions of songs as they sbould, We stayed there for just one song a piece and it seemed to be the same over and over; never wanting to expand the song list for certain people. Very discriminating. Plus, it shows they are sabotaging Moe & Curly's because they are inhibiting bringing in more people for kareoke. We left abd went somewhere else for kareoke and they had a great sound system and had very fresh songs (current) songs. Moe and Curly's on 108th & Maple Street Needs to to stop With the excuses. Meh. If you need to sing and aren't picky it's a good spot. Rotation is decent but sound quality not that great. Good news is you will care less as you drink more beer. Prices are low and crowd is generally pretty friendly. Not the worst spot on this side of town to sing in. read more

True dive bar kind of joint - we rolled in here at the tail end of a bachelorette party to sing some karaoke. The DJ got us in the rotation quickly, so that was nice. The drink selections are terrible if you're over 25 and actually know how to order alcohol. I gotta say, this is one of the weirdest karaoke set ups I've ever seen, more like you are singing on the dance floor and the layout of the room is so weird you don't actually have the audience's full attention. Overall for what we were there for (last call bachelorette karaoke) it was fine, but as someone who really loves karaoke, I'd probably find a better karaoke spot to frequent if I were a local. read more

Alright, let me preface this by saying I hardly ever write 1 star reviews. I have written 125 reviews and only 9 of them are 1 star. I generally like to keep yelp positive and review places I love instead of bashing the places I hate. Moe and Curly's is one of those few exceptions. My friends and I ended up here after we tried to go to our favorite karaoke joint, Mics and found that it had shut down. We were crushed. So, we immediately set to work to find a replacement karaoke bar. We found Moe and Curly's on the interwebs and decided to give it a whirl. I have been to many, many karaoke bars all over the place. This was by far the worst. We came in and snagged a table and quickly realized we were not going to get any table service (even though there were waitresses milling about), so we went up to the bar to get a couple of pitchers. We put in our songs right away, and the place wasn't crazy packed so we figured we'd get to sing in a decent amount of time. We enjoyed listening to people and clapped and cheered when they sang. That's part of the karaoke bar thing. Audience participation. We were the only ones doing this. Seriously, I am pretty baffled why anyone in this place decided to drink at a karaoke bar. No one seemed to be enjoying the karaoke at all. It was such a negative and strange vibe. The DJ clearly was just letting his friends and regulars sing. There were people singing that had put their requests in way after us. I can be a bit understanding in this department, but this got over the top ridiculous. We finally got our names called (after about 2 and a half hours) and the DJ was a huge jerk. He snatched the mic out of my hand when I was finished without a word. Generally, karaoke djs are very friendly, encouraging and know that the people there to sing are keeping their paychecks coming. Not this dude. If you love karaoke and know what great karaoke bars, participants, and audience members can be do not bother with this place. It was honestly the most hostile, unfriendly, and negative karaoke bar I have ever been to. I am still in awe over the craptastic evening we had. read more

The only reason in giving it a 1 is because I can't rate it lower. The liquor selection is sub par and the service is worse I waited 90 min because a server decided I wasn't worth her time. And after tipping IN CASH all night was greeted with a "OH FUCK YOU" under server's breath. I have been going to this bars for years after having a falling out with a certain bartender at another establishment. Next thing I know they hire this lady here. The 1st time she worked when we where there she refused to serve us so the karaoke DJ served us. Last night she worked.(I hadn't been I in a while) there was a different bartender working when we got there. I have never had a single problem in this bar all the bartenders are great EXCEPT DEBBIE. Mind you I had already ran a tab and was asked to leave because the owner of this place agreed that she didnt have to serve us. We have thrown several parties there and spent thousands of dollars. We and all we know will never be back. Low class owner low class bartender has the nerve to start yelling across the bar as we are leaving everyone in the bar heard it including the bartender that was still working. if you go there on a Friday NIGHT DEBBIE will be there and I'm sure she will have an attitude with you. Great place to meet new people, have an ice cold beverage and sing karaoke. They have karaoke every day of the week which is super awesome! They don't serve food but have lots of snacks and free fresh popped popcorn. Great place to hangout! read more

What a joke this place is. It is sad that it has to be in this great city. Nothing but tone deaf geriatrics. I couldn't get out of there quick enough. I'm fairly new to the bar scene as I became of age only a few months ago, but I've stayed pretty up-to-date and educated since then. However, I am no stranger to the karaoke scene. I went to Moe & Curly's for the first time a couple of weeks ago and made a return this weekend with a small group of people. I happened upon their Yelp page and saw that they had received pretty underwhelming reviews, which broke my heart. I have had a great experience both of the times that I went. I like how it is out of the way of Maple Street traffic but also easy to spot. The bartenders were wonderful and there were so many fun, welcoming people. The DJ stayed on top of the song requests and made sure that everyone knew their position in the song lineup via rolling credits on the screen. The beer selection isn't great but I will sacrifice that for a great time any day. When I went up to do my song, the entire bar was cheering and dancing. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to hang out and do karaoke in a little more of a low-key setting. Wonderful staff, $2 jello shots, freshly popped popcorn (for free!) and not to mention karaoke every single night! read more

Different crowds on different nights. Weekends are younger folks and pretty much packed. Weeknights the rotation is short and mostly an older crowd (which I enjoy). The sound system is very good and the music selection is above average. Prices for drinks are reasonable.
