Having tried another Tucson quickie pizza place, I wasn't expecting anything over the top. Boy, was I surprised! Simple and delicious is how I would sum up the menu! You can create your own masterpiece or select one from the board. Their selections are creative and varied, really something for everyone and every palate. It was fast, reasonable, clean, plenty of parking and seating. I can only imagine that this would be a fabulous place to eat al fresco in the summer as they have a great outdoor dining space. The staff here is amazing. We have a Mod Pizza about 5 minutes from us, but choose to drive to this location because of the staff. Yesterday our classic car broke down, Marty an employee brought us out glasses of water, stopped and chatted to make sure we were fine. I've never been to MOD Pizza and I stopped by this location on a Saturday. I loved the pizza and the menu was huge. I like that you can pick from a pizza off the menu and alter it or just make your own. Employees were nice and got our food out to us at a reasonable time considering there was 11 people in my group. Know what I love about Mod Pizza? You can out anything on your pizza and it's all the same price. It's like Subway but better. I love the crust and the option of toppings. I was really disappointed with the pizzas I ordered for dinner last night. We've been wanting to try this spot and when we found out they were doing a fund raiser for a local charity it seemed like the perfect time to go to Mod Pizza. The choices for toppings are generous. Hubby had meat toppings but I picked mostly veggies and a bit of Canadian bacon (but it really looked like ham). The crust is very thin, which we like. This was my first time going to a MOD Pizza and I really enjoyed it. The experience was really good. I had a mad dog mini pizza. I enjoyed being able to ask for more of specific toppings and getting it personalized for me lol. It was really quick and I think as far as fast food pizza goes this is the best place I've been to in a long time. It really reminded me of a small local place in Denver Colorado, but it closed and I've moved away from Denver. The pizza crust is a rather thin crust, crispy, just a slight burnt bottom (I like that) and delicious toppings. First visit to Mods in Sahuarita. Always a favorite in the past. This Mods is not on par with the Seattle Mods I was introduced to. However, they still are fast, fresh and very custom. A great place for lunch where you can be healthy and have a variety of vegetables to choose from while also being super yummy pizza. The restaurant could have been a bit tidier and the service a bit friendlier but all and all a great place to grab a quick relatively inexpensive lunch. Finally a new place to eat in Sahuarita! The fact this place was so busy just shows how desperate we are for more food places in the area. Line was out the door the entire time we were there. The staff was hustling so I think the line was so long because of the number of people coming in and it seemed like people took extra long to figure out which toppings they wanted. There was plenty of seating and I would have also been okay sitting outside since there was an awning to help shield the sun and pretty cafe lights strung up. Pizza and cinnamon strips with glaze dip were yummy, hubby's beer was a little pricey but that was fine. In defense of the restaurant with people giving less than stellar reviews, every new restaurant will have growing pains considering you have new team members navigating a new fast food environment than they are used to. For them to give us great pizza in that short amount of time with little to no error is great. I was super skeptical to try Mod Pizza considering there are so many choices for pizza in the area. But boy am I glad I did!! They have a variety of pizza for everybody, especially since you can customize your pizza any wsy you wsnt. From my daughter's simple cheese Maddie pizza, my son's meat-loving Mad Dog, and my preference, an amazing-tasting cauliflower crust Tristan with roasted veggies and pesto sauce. Yummmm!!! I've been going to mod since they've opened and have never had a problem with their food or their staff at all in fact their staff is so kind to recognize me for my service by always putting on 15% off with out me ever asking. The way they found out is by taking the time to get to know me and they just did it from that point on and if there is someone new. They give them a head up.
