Management at MOD Pizza reached out & offered to have us revisited MOD. We appreciate this gesture & understand that MOD Pizza does want to keep customers happy. With our crazy work schedule, we decided to accept the offer & my husband picked up pizzas one night last week to share with a couple coworkers. The pizza was much better this time in terms of less amount of toppings helping the crust baked better. We did ordered one double crust pizza and find that it accommodates our toppings request much better. One crust is too thin to put more than a few toppings. Unsure of why 2 out of four of us got sick after eating the pizzas. Of of our coworker got sick much later in the night. At any rate, we still find this concept of building your own pizza to be excellent & we wish MOD Pizza much success! read more

Yum!! I love Mod Pizza! We ordered 3 pizzas and each one was delicious and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is nice here, as well. My husband ordered a different beer than normal and didn't like it, so they traded it out for another beer for free. They are reasonably priced and use high quality ingredients. We will visit Mod often now that it's here in Reno. read more

So a co-worker got me a pizza from Mod and I have been ordering from them since. I have a dairy allergy and Mod is one of a handful of places that allow me to make my own pizza for one price and get the vegan cheese as well. I like the regular crust the best, although I did try the cauliflower crust once but I missed the gluten so back to regular dough for me. I also like adding additional sauce to the top. The pizza comes out fast and everyone is nice. I usually pickup inside but I have enjoyed the curbside pick up too. But for me, being able to create a pizza that addresses my allergy and doesn't cost me a fortune or limit what I can eat is the best thing. read more

I have now visited this location twice and both times I've gotten the cheesy garlic bread and I get marinara sauce to dip in this is the second time that I've come and I tried to give them a second chance The marinara sauce is sour it's all bubbled up the pesto is bad I literally took one bite and I started throwing up because of how nasty the food is I love MOD Pizza but not with them giving me expired food that's bad I shouldn't even be allowed to do this if it's too hot then they need to keep the sauces in a fridge or something but it's awful and nasty I would never go back here again I've given them two chances I don't expect to go in and get awful nasty sauce The first time they remade my order and gave me new sauce The second time they didn't want to do anything about it The sauce was sour it was awful the worst experience I've ever had read more

Ok so this is not like amazing pizza but the concept makes it so cool!!! It's basically a subway for pizza, you go down the line and choose your toppings as they make it for you, no limit on all toppings. Pretty neat. They have two sizes like a mini and a large. This is thin crust though so for those deep dish goers, it's not the place for you. They bake it in some kind of cool stove. As I mentioned it's pretty good but not a five star pizza. We came in to check out the new MOD Puzza, never been to one but the concept is great for groups and family, also works great for couples. I very much like the idea of creating my own pizza , you can actually add whatever ingredients you want as many as you want on a thin easy to eat pizza. We actually decided just their regular size 11" pizza, perfect size for me and my husband, well he ate 3 out of the 4 slices. The staff were friendly and had given us tips on how things are done, it was delicious since everything in it is what we have chosen. Definitely will have repeated visit. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the pizza! When we were first showed the crusts, it looked like a tortilla- it's that thin. The lady behind the counter explained the process to us and was very helpful. When we received our pizzas, we were a little apprehensive. It looked almost like something I'd make in the microwave. It was definitely not. The crust was thin and crunchy and surprisingly delicious. Something silly to notice, but I really like the ice they have in their beverage machine! Only four starts because I wasn't overwhelmed by it's greatness and I feel like I need to come back and try something else. I liked the price and the customer service though! So i tried to order online on august 12th. I put my card information in and was declined, even though there was money in the account. Called my bank and come to find out that my exp. Date was inputted incorrectly by them in Folsom Ca. Tried again today and same thing. Called and spoke to the manager who stated that in her 2 years she has never heard of that. She said she could hear my frustration and then placed me on hold back to a different employee who clearly was new. So, a few things: Don't assume your customer is lying about their experience, as that is how I felt by your questions and tone of voice. Also, have the decency to take my order, and not give me to someone who clearly is a good kid, but needs some training. Your pizza is excellent, bit if you want to cash in on the "Tesla Effect", it would behoove you to take better care of your neigboorhood customers. read more

Our family's favorite pizza place in town! The service is quick, which is a must with 5 kids. We love that each of us can get exactly what we want on our pizza! Half of us choose a pizza from the menu and the other half build our own. We love that it's the same price no matter what toppings we add on! The thin, crispy crust is awesome! They have good salads also. Even the drinks are different and delicious - blackberry lemonade is my favorite. This place is amazing!! First the greeting you get when you walk in is upbeat and super friendly. The selections are wonderful too. I chose to build my own pizza. Fresh pesto, chicken, mozzerella, and tomatoes. The hubs ordered a pizza with several different meat choices including pepperoni and sausage and a hearty red sauce. He also ordered a strawberry milkshake that was really good. Nice and thick and not overly sweet. The pizza crust was nice and thin and handled the toppings nicely. $21 for two custom made pizzas and a drink and a milkshake is super affordable. I am sure I will be stopping by this place weekly. I emailed the home office about my experience and got no response at all weeks later. Too bad, lost a customer. Awesome place! They're very allergy-cognizant so if you're GF, vegan or have a nut allergy, this is the place to go. We both got the 'build your own pizza' but they do have a list of pizzas. This place had a lot of options! They had tasty pizza, milk shakes and salads. You got to add toppings and sauces to classic pizzas as well. I wanted a salad, and they recommended this assagio pizza bread to pour the salad onto and it was great! A great combination of lettuce leaves, brussel sprouts, garlic, and croutons on top of assagio bread. I even forewent the dressing because the taste was there even without it. Super bummed to write this post. If I would have rated Mod 6-8 months ago it would have been 10 stars out of 5, but ownership has definitely switched hands. The polite welcoming staff no longer exists, the pizza bar is in complete disarray, floors were filthy, garbage cans were over flowing onto the floor. They ran out of pineapple so instead of re-filling it to add more to my pizza he just called it good and moved on meanwhile another staff belted out into song so loud my hubby couldn't understand the staff right in front of him.
