It is so loud in here the servers can't even hear you order. Don't know if everyone here is new or just flat out incompetant but the pizza makers (don't know their "official title") couldn't remember anything that was on my pizza so I to remind them of EVERY single topping that came with the style I ordered. Then the cashier tried to tell us that they didn't have water cups. We had to buy a bottled water or a fountain drink. This place is awful! Will never come back! read more

So I was a bit skeptical to try another pizza place with the same concept as Pieology and Blaze. However, MOD is MODified to Perfection!! Their crust is thin and cooked perfectly. Their greetings are professional and extremely friendly. I have respect for whoever hired their employees. Thank you for opening in Redlands. Our family will definitely be back and we will certainly recommend friends. read more

I'm weary when it comes to trying new make-your-own brick oven pizza places (because I've come to learn that not all are the same). The Pizza: - It's $8.27 for the 11" pizza. - The toppings and the crust SEPARATE from each other so easily...like pizza-Moses came to part the red sauce. Is it the combination of sauce/cheese? Maybe, but my company also had the same problem with a different variation. The consistency of the dough also felt like it could use an extra minute in the oven. I can get this quality for $4.99 at another mediocre concept pizza/salad place. So, I brought it back to the counter. They, albeit politely, told me "it's cooked fine", but they'll put it back in for me "if [I] like." Gee, thanks. The Service: - There were good and bad. - The good: The first Asian girl and cashier girl with glasses (they need name tags) were super nice and cheery. Explained things perfectly. - The bad: They (aka the girl with the red hair) literally frown upon you when you want more toppings. I already said in the beginning I want extra extra extra EXTRA cheese. Frown. More cheese please? Frown. Actually, she just frowns on everything. Mushroom? Frown. Artichoke? Frown. Seriously, they need name tags. To be honest, she made me want to leave and is 95% of the reason why I won't be coming back. The Location: - Pretty convenient since it's in a larger plaza. When it gets busy on the weekends, you might have to park a little further, but that's as far as inconvenience goes. TL;DR: There are better choices out there (Blaze, maybe Pieology). No, I won't be coming back...ever. Not even if it's $4.99. read more

MOD Pizza - Our first of soon to be many visits to MOD pizza in Redlands!!! - Pizza Near Me - Redlands, California

Is pretty good a bunch of people inside. The taste is a little bit bland for the sauce. Hope there's more choice of veggies and selection of vegan meat choices. Other than that is ok for families and teens To enjoy the food. read more

Tried MOD Pizza for the first time yesterday and boy was it good. We got there just before the lunch crowd hit which was good since we really weren't sure about the whole build it in front of you situation. Upon walking in we noticed how clean it was and welcoming the staff were. They asked if it was our first time and we said yes. The girl that help us was awesome I'm sorry I forgot her name. They had a great assortment of fresh and delicious toppings to choose from. I decide to make my own so I ordered mine with red sauce, garlic, spinach, sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, red onion and balsamic drizzle. It was amazing. The crust was just right with some crisp to it. I also ordered one of the marionberry lemonade. To die for! I can't wait to come back and try other pizzas and some of their salads. read more

Husband and I love pielogy but we were in the Redlands so we stopped here thinking it was Going to be comparable or better cause the decor is beautiful.. Well I think it's still fairly newly open establishment but staff needs more training.. Staff was Very slow, some of pizza crust was burnt.. They added tomatoes to my Cesar salad (never had tomatoes on Cesar salad). Don't recommend it just yet may go back in a month or two.. read more

Went yesterday, was happy to learn they offer vegan cheese! Later learned they also have gluten free crust. So we will be back! The crust is thin and they have artichokes, 5 stars for selection. I do think their over-the-top greeting when you walk in is too much, interrupts the process and jarring while you're eating. Just be friendly when I walk up, no need to yell across the room. There are other restaurants that also used to do this tactic (Cafe Rio, Jersey Mike's) and thankfully no longer do. read more

My husband and I went here for quick dinner and had a great experience. Our pizza was made and the man at the counter was super pleasant. I'm assuming he was a manager because I inquired about hard cider and he was sad to inform me they didn't carry it. He took the time to ask me about our night and if we had plans. It's always nice to have great customer connections, even in a fast paced environment. We found and spot and waited about 5 minutes for our two pizzas. When they arrived, they were absolutely delicious. While wasting Jesus came up to us and ask how the service and food was, and insisted that we let him know if we needed anything else. Upon finishing our food, Jesus came back and checked with us again and made sure we didn't need anything else! read more

I have been to this location twice and found the food good! I'm a big fan of thin pizzas. There's indoor and outdoor seating, and the line usually doesn't take too long. Today though, was a bad experience day because we almost ate a considerably sized yellow plastic in their Cooper pizza. Talked to the manager about it but her response was basically "Too bad, not our fault." A gentleman sitting near us also found a piece of yellow plastic in his Cooper and complained to the manager, getting a similar response. According to the manager, apparently the plastic bits are sometimes found in their Cooper pizza? I don't know why the manager seemed okay with that fact. I would exercise caution when eating. read more

Pizza is good but the workers here do not know how to separate ingredients and follow special requests. I've ordered vegan pizzas here many times and 8/10 times there have been pieces of meat on my pizza. I leave a special request to not put meat and every time I bite into bacon, chicken, or sausage. It's incredibly frustrating and I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt but no more. If you're vegan or vegetarian either watch them like a hawk when you order or just skip this place altogether. read more

HAM IS NOT CANADIAN BACON For fast fresh pizza this is a good spot if you like thin crust. Their new thick crust doesn't quite cook all the way thru before it starts to burn. The last time I was here we got it and the dough was raw in parts. Today I got Canadian bacon pineapple garlic and mushroom. They changed their Canadian bacon to HAM, it doesn't taste like CB it tastes and feels like ham lunch meat ( good quality ) but I don't care for the taste. When I asked if they had in fact changed and told cashier I didn't care for it they didn't even ask of they could remake my pie, it was a little disappointing. I'm not going out of my way to ask to have it remade but being in customer service myself I think they should have asked. read more

Always fun to stop at Mod when you're in the mood for pizza but don't want your typical pepperoni or cheese pie. Lots of great ingredients to choose from, though depending on what time you arrive, service might not be the speediest as Mountain Grove is incredibly popular. read more

For people who want beer with their pizza this isn't the place. They only have 805, Pabst and Modelo. They have Betty on tap but it's just a tease cause it never works. And that's really annoying. Oh well, pieology is the clear winner in this category read more

This was my first visit here and I just want to say Leo made it the best experience I could have ever asked for. He was very informative, gave me suggestions, and even danced a little. MOD Pizza - MOD Pizza the bomb get yours today :) - Pizza Near Me - Redlands, California

This was our first visit here. We loved the selection of toppings and feel that it was on par with similar places. The customer service here is far above their competition. Unfortunately, our pizza crust was burnt and the bottom was a bit too. I had seen pictures like that before we went, but was hoping it was not common. With a stone oven, this is always a possibility. Their salads are more expensive than if you were to eat it in a nice restaurant, but the pizza price was average. Overall, we would come back and try it again. Great customer service. read more

Pieology can just pack up a leave town bc this place is the best! Been here a few times and yet to be disappointed. Today was the best though. Leo was working the oven and I couldn't have asked for a best pizza crust!! read more

Great service. First thing that I noticed when I walked in and everyone said hello! Im gonna be honest, it scared me a little bit but ultimately I appreciated it. Ok now for the food, what you really wondering is how is this different from Pieology: Quality. The quality of the pizza is much better than Pieology. Also noted are the selection of ingredients. I feel like their selection of ingredients is better in quality. Seeing as both are in Redlands I will definitely come here for pizza again. read more

MOD Pizza - The great crew working today! - Pizza Near Me - Redlands, California

This is on our regular rotation. We prefer this over Pieology slightly but it's basically the same style of quick order pizza of which Blaze Pizza is also in competition. They also can make salads if you don't feel the pizza and they are good too. The berry lemonade is a favorite of ours, and they have the small pellet crunchy ice which shouldn't matter, but totally makes the drink tastes better. read more

Two very nice gentlemen at the Redlands location offer me a free shake to try because I was in a debate whether to go to bakers and get it or not. Finally made my way to Mod Pizza. Came in for an early lunch with the hubby. We got the "Mod" size, it's an 11" around $8.50 or so. With a fountain drink and a tip our total was a little than $13. The pizza was plenty for the both of us with some to take home. One of the girl briefly explained to us how it works, but it was helpful enough. The line moved quickly, with so many fresh toppings to choose from. Our pizza was fired perfectly. There's plenty of seats inside and outside. Their personal size is less than $6 I think this place would be great for a quick bite. This will be one of my go to spot after a movie night at Harkins. read more
