Learned of Mod pizza from a fan yesterday. We went right away to try it out. Even though cannot eat in now place was clean & welcoming AND the pizza was amazing & fairly priced. And was ready moments after we ordered & paid. Granted store empty due to virus. We got one to try it out first time. Did mushroom & sausage. Took it home then scarfed it down. My husband wanted to try this place and we had our 4 boys with us and they all love pizza so we went. It was really slow at the time so we took our time to understand the menu and how to order. Pretty simple concept. The only part I wish they could fix was check out. Being a family of 6 it was a cluster fudge. The cashier said so 5 pizzas and we assumed he knew what we ordered so we said yes as we thought garlic strips was a "pizza" as well. Well we were charged 5 MOD pizzas instead of 2 MOD pizzas and 2 mini with garlic strips and drinks and totaled out to $55 and change WOW! So we had to go back and get $11 back. I think they need some sort of communication going on because it seemed like the cashier who was also tending to pizzas and sending them out didn't have a clue what was going on with those who were taking the order and making the pizzas. At least we know for next time to be specific. As for the food my husband enjoyed himself being that me and the kids are plain Jane cheese pizza fans so he never really gets what he wants....until now! The kids loved it as well but no one went back for seconds on the garlic strips. As for me it was a "meh" although I had to wait for my pizza because I was given someone else's. My husband thought I was crazy because they make it in front of you and your name is on the piece of paper the pizza is on. I got a plain cheese pizza with tomatoes, pretty sure I didn't ask for mushrooms onions or sausage. Lol one last thing we didn't enjoy was there were no lids for the drinks and by that time it was extremely busy and we had 3 kids ages 2, 3, and 6 praying they wouldn't spill their drinks! My first experience with MOD was my dad picking up food for me and I had no prior knowledge of what was on the menu or what to order. I went with a salad as I've been trying to become more carb friendly, so I gave a list of things I'd like in it, and they were able to fill it almost exactly. The salad came in a very large bowl and was quite filling- I had mixed greens with mushrooms, chopped green peppers, artichokes, chunks of chicken, black olives, and olive oil and some shredded cheese. It was a salad made in heaven and mixed together so well. I think it came out to abotu $8. It was filling and I heard there's a larger size too. This place is the absolute best. I'm not one to come onto yelp and review food places but this MOD in particular deserves it. I was helped by Brandon and he was so nice and polite. You don't see well mannered people nowadays and it was refreshing to have someone seem so efficient about their product. Love the thin crust pizza. They charge for the pizza size and not how many toppings. I got the mini pizza and mini salad. They have a lot of "extras" such as drizzles if you want. Just tried this for the first time and we thought the food was great! Loved the concept of "build your own pizza and salads" and the service was fast and friendly. Food was fresh and was reasonably priced with lots of choices for toppings.... and did I mention...FAST!! It is thin crust, gluten free which we enjoyed and the Marionberry house made lemonade was tasty. Would definitely make this a regular stop for pizza in the future. read more

Now let's talk food. I can't say it was bad, it just isn't really good. If your kids are younger, they'll like it. It's a very thing pita-like flatbread crust, not greasy, but no flavor either. The sauce is good, the cheese ok. The toppings fresh. So I'm sure there's an element of fun in creating your own pizza. Prices are affordable, and they do serve beer and wine. So if you want to meet up with friends, nice place for that. But if you actually want a really good slice of pizza, this isn't quite the place. Went in after a movie, it was a bit of a wait, but we figured we're here so stick with it. My husband and friend got pizza, I got a salad. I loaded it with all the stuff I could, lol. It was ready very quickly and I did sneak a taste of my hubby's pie and it was delish. I'm on a low carb diet, so I ate my salad, which was good and enjoyed the smell. My husband doesn't normally eat more than two pieces of pizza and he finished his right there on the spot. Will come back when I'm allowed carbs!! I usually enjoy their pizza, but not today or the last time I went. Last time I went they had to remake half the pizzas we ordered. Today we waited in line for 30 minutes just to get to the front. While we were waiting they slowed way down. It was like watching a sloth make pizzas. The back table was full of pizzas waiting to be cooked. We finally got our pizza 20 minutes later. I was a little nervous when I saw how incredibly thin the crust was before they added the toppings, but to my surprise it puffed up nicely and it was delicious! I love that you can mix and match your own toppings. I got pesto, artichoke, chicken and mushrooms and it was so good! The MOD pizza is the perfect size too.
