Just Kabob was such a great find. We ordered the Family Style Meal and it comfortably fed four adults. The chicken skewers were tender, the beef koobideh had great flavor and the saffron rice, pickled vegetables and grilled tomatoes tied everything together. We chose the dolmehs (x6, I ate one before taking the photo) and the two baklavas with our family meal and both were delicious. The owner is also the chef and he truly puts his heart into this restaurant. Every time we have gone, whether it is just us or when we bring family and guests, he always makes a point to say hello, visit our table and make us feel welcome. It adds so much charm to this delicious spot. They also have a huge selection of Ready Meals made in house by the owner. The flavors are fresh and feel like home cooked food made from the heart. We recently catered our wedding reception from Just Kabob. I cannot recommend them enough! The food was absolutely delicious, everyone loved it. The owner and folks who work here are wonderful. They gave us great recommendations on what we should get and how much, and made the entire experience seamless. They even went above and beyond and let us borrow heating trays and serving utensils. So delicious! Generous portions and so so so yummy! This is an order at the counter place. They also have several fridges/freezers with prepared meals to take home if you like. I've never tried any of those meals though. I've tried the beef shish, the chicken saffron, and the shrimp. All so good! The meat comes with a large serving of rice, a grilled tomato, and some pickled vegetables. Everything has been so delicious. They have tables for dining in, but the atmosphere is a little lacking--I've always done take out. It does seem like it takes longer than it should, and they also always seem to be playing michale buble (I'm not a fan lol), so maybe that's why the wait seems longer haha. I will also say that it is on the pricier end and they do charge 3% if you use a credit card, so bring cash to save yourself that extra fee. Used the search tool on Yelp to find this hole in the wall treasure! All I can say is I wish it was closer to my side of town. Very clean and comfortable inside to dine in. Very casual place and very easy to order. You place your order and they will bring to your table. I originally phoned in my order to take out but my drive was too long so I decided to eat in. The serving size is nice size, I could not eat all my rice but it was amazing! So fresh, light and delightful! My yogurt chicken was moist and flavorful. First time trying it! The veggie kebab was great to go with my chicken. The extra veggies were marinated and tangy. I also ordered tabbouleh! It was so fresh!!! It had a nice citrus note, I really enjoyed it! I've driven by this location once a week for the span of a year and finally went this year and have been back at least twice since. This a fast casual Persian restaurant and the quality is that of the Persian room. I've been having the yogurt chicken kabob and my boyfriend gets the lemon chicken kabob. We also get the appetizer with hummus, tabouleh, and baba ghanoush. All are so good, especially the tabohleh! It's very lemon forward and that hits for me. I heard about Taste of Passion in an online article that mentioned their frozen to-go meals, so I decided to check it out. I had a little trouble finding the sign, so I called, and it turns out they're located inside Just Kebab. I picked up several different options, and my favorite so far is the shrimp kebab. All of the dishes come with a lot of rice--I do wish they would replace half of it with veggies instead. The restaurant was clean, and all of the workers were really friendly. Oh for yum! I've been craving this restaurant's saffron rice and this time decided to bring my family. We got the family chicken combo with tabulah and hummus. Everything was sooo flavorful. I love the spicy pickled veggies, the somehow magically cooked tomatoes, and the meat was perfectly cooked and delicious. The family meal for 4 fed my family of 5 with leftovers (mostly rice). It was very quiet in the restaurant aside from the refrigerator noise. We were the only ones there for a while. Service was great and the man behind the grill was nice and chatted with us. This is a popular place! I walked in on a Thursday at sunset. I was hungry and ordered the chicken biryani, rice cooked "Arab style" with two chicken thighs. It was deliciously flavored with saffron and delivered to me by the owner with a soft smile. I ate inside, by the window and near a local customer originally from Saudi Arabia. The owner of the restaurant, a very friendly man who walked around the dining area talking to all his customers, addressed his regulars by name. He beamed with pride when I told him the meal was delicious. The chicken was soft and nicely spiced. There were so many good choices to choose from. Got a take out with 2 kebab and some naan. Flavor was excellent but chicken was a little dry. Naan was big and tasty but not like an Indian naan, but as a Persian place I wouldn't expect that. My wife saw an influencer on tik tok about this place so we decided to try it out. I got the lamb shesh and she got the chicken and ribeye. The lamb was good, it doesn't taste like greek lamb but still ok. I didn't care much for the ribeye because it was marinated in yogurt sauce, nothing against it just not for me as it drowned out the flavor of the steak. The chicken was excellent, also we had a skewer of vegetables which was kinda of a let down as i was expecting a big helping of grilled vegetables. The decor of the interior didn't match the location; it kind of reminded me of something that should be on the south side of town. I paid $90 (roughly) for 4 kabobs rice & a big helping of french fries. The french fries were amazing and i highly recommend them. The downside was there wasn't a soda fountain where we could get refills. I mean for the price and location there should be a soda fountain vs just a bottled coke. I forgot that the rice was i think like saffron as it was long grained? It was very good, & the guy cooking i think owned the place as he was solo and doing everything. Thats impressive. Overall this place was crazy expensive but the food was good. The owner/cook was nice enough to come to our table to say hello which I thought was nice. This is a hole-in-the-walll kebab place that you really shouldn't miss. I've had kebabs at many, many places, and this might be the best! First, there's many different flavors of kebabs. We got Sesame Honey Chicken and Saffron Chicken. They were perfectly cooked - hot but still moist. I also loved the Salad Shirazi, which was fresh and had a hint of mint. We rounded out dinner with a crème caramel that I was very happy with - there was enough caramel sauce to spoon it up. Nice! They have many gluten free options. First, I would say the owner is so nice and welcoming, and he helped me to pick my meals as I was indecisive about the menu. Second, the food was delicious and filling. The rice was buttered and not too salty, and the meats were seasoned and fresh. I took the one star off, because the doogh drink was a little bit salty to me, but this was my first time trying it and the owner did warn me. Wow, what an improvement. First of all, the overall ambiance is still low-end, but the space is clean and orderly. With time, the children have grown up so that problem had also disappeared. All this allowed us to enjoy the food, and enjoyable it is. Some of the best Middle Eastern food around and those Persian stews are incredibly yummy. I do wish they would go with thighs rather than breasts in the chicken dishes, but the seasoning is on point. Now available, prepackaged meals. Fantastic place with even better service. We ordered some different kababs, but my 12 year old had ordered the chicken beryani. When they brought it to our table and realized it was for a kid they warned us it was spicy and they could switch it out. Instead I ate the flavorful but pretty spicy dish and my kids enjoyed their kababs. We ended up grabbing some of their frozen pre made meals and my husband was obsessed.
