    Mini salad

Mod pizza is a fresh fast service custom pizza and salad restaurant. I often enjoy their salads as they are a healthier and quick option. I had the mini salad and my husband had the new hand pie. The hand pie is essentially the mini pizza folded in half. Both were fresh and decently good! The wait was a little crazy with one person in front of us it took about 20 mins to order. The drink stations were empty and a bit dirty.

MOD Pizza is like the Taco Bell of Italian food. You can't really call Taco Bell Mexican food even though it comes in familiar shapes. You can't really call MOD Pizza Italian food even though, once again, it comes in a familiar shape. If you want something quick and easily customizable then this place will do. If you want anything resembling actual pizza then go elsewhere. Kudos for having plant based sausage as a topping. I would say use a spoon to scoop it out. Watching the server stick her hands into it and scooping it out was like watching a colo-rectal exam.

I'm very happy Mod came to Oregon City. They are fast and easy. You don't have to settle for less when you just want a nice thin crust pizza without too much grease. You can choose from their menu or build your own. The price remains the same for 2 toppings or 12. They come in 11" (standard) or 6". They also offer a thick crust or gluten free cauliflower crust. Being new they are still getting their legs but that's how it always is. The product hasn't changed. It's not bad pizza. The king of pizza? No. Solid, thin crust personal pizzas on the fly? Yes. The place was packed but customer service was A+ for our four pizzas. They didn't rush us and smiled plenty. Four 11" pizza's and a few "no name cakes" set us back $50 which isn't too bad. I'm glad Mod is here and with the crowds tonight, I think Oregon City is too.

I came for the training week before the grand opening. They were doing 50% off for all customers between certain hours. Heck yeah! I walked in and was greeted by everyone, behind the counter and at the door! This place is so cute inside! My pizza was made fast and everyone that worked there was super friendly. I'm very impressed with how quickly everyone was working and how on top of the orders they were. My pizza was delicious!! Great job guys!! I'll be back for sure!

My order clearly asking for triple meat.

I check Yelp to confirm the hype is real and then I am off to the races. This location is humble; it's definitely a order and go spot. However, there's two small tables to wait. We ordered at the counter and waited around 20 minutes for two family pizzas and one 10 inch pizza. We got a butter chicken and tandoori chicken split, a Mighty Munch Mountain curry pizza, and a pepperoni. The verdict? The crust is good, but not life changing. It is a bit thick but it is necessary because they load you with toppings. Flavorwise? All were delicious. Even my niece who is a very picky eater, ate a slice of the pepperoni that we got her and then devoured the rest. My favorite was probably the butter chicken with a light, creamy taste and plenty of chicken. Honestly, I'd do a family size half and half of your two favorites to get the best bang for your buck. Glad to have found this spot before the Superbowl.

We were visiting family in the area and had two people in our group local to the area who had been there several times in the past. We first went and checked in and were told there was a 10-15 minute wait. The hostess was very kind, took our number and sent us to the upstairs bar to wait for a table. We were greeted by a friendly bartender who took our drink orders (cocktails and wine) and we enjoyed our beverages while chatting by the bar. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with large velvet green booths, all new, updated and well done. The drinks were all great. The downstairs hostess came upstairs to let us know our table was ready, and we paid and went downstairs. So far, we were all really happy with our experience. The prices of the drinks were all around $15-20+ but we were all okay with it given the good service (thus far), high end atmosphere, etc. There were people in there but it was a pretty mellow Saturday evening. We were given a nice large area to sit and thanked the hostess. The waitress came and was clearly a little overwhelmed but took our drink orders. I mentioned a drink my husband had upstairs and asked if I could have it, but was told they had a different menu down here and I needed to order from that menu. I looked it over while the others ordered their drinks, and when she came back to me, I asked if I could go upstairs to order the drink I wanted, and bring it down. She said sure. I put in an order for a couple food items with her, and she left. My brother in law kindly offered to go upstairs and order the drink and was gone for quite a long time. We learned that when he was upstairs, he went to the bar and mentioned I wanted a drink from his bar. The bartender's mood shifted and he said he had 10 drinks ahead of my BIL, and asked him to go downstairs to order. My BIL informed him he was told the downstairs bar didn't have the ingredients, and was sent up here. The bartender was annoyed and asked my BIL to go downstairs for 10 minutes and come back again to order. My BIL replied that he was happy to wait at the bar instead and took a seat. After a long while, the bartender curtly said that my BIL would have to pay for the drink up here, which my BIL of course agreed to. My BIL said it was very uncomfortable and the bartender was being rude (a couple sitting at the bar also mentioned this). We are guessing he was overwhelmed and didn't handle it well. He brought the drink downstairs, no problem. We were all sitting for a while and noticed that my BIL never received the beer he ordered from the waitress downstairs. And after about 45 minutes I asked about the food I had ordered (she hadn't checked in with us at all during that time, and I should mention it was not busy at all - several tables open). The waitress said she forgot to put it in. That was it. No offer to quickly put it in, no offer to comp a drink, no real apology. We asked for the bill and split it between two cards. When we got the receipts and cards back, my husband found they had given both him and his brother (the other payer) copies of my husband's receipt-so he assumed he was double charged. He went to the front to bring this to their attention and explained how he was upset by the poor service throughout the evening. He received a quick response that they had printed the receipt twice (didn't charge twice) and were short staffed that evening. We are all understanding people and my sister in law ran restaurants for years, we all had food service jobs and are sympathetic but really just disappointed in this place. I'm writing this review because the employees there just didn't seem to care about the issues we raised. They had an acoustic artist playing that evening who was phenomenal. If you go there on a different day with different staff, I'm sure you'd have a great time. But for the price and ambiance, we really expected better service.

The staff explained that the wings are baked twice to get the perfect temperature and texture which is why it would take just a few more minutes. According to my hubby , it was worth those minutes, he really enjoyed the wings. Everyone there on staff tonight was just smiling , staying productive and they were all super friendly. The store itself is quaint in size but kept very clean and I just loved that everyone was enthusiastic about being there and making sure that each customer that came in , like myself, was met with good eye contact and a smile. We had made the 25 minute drive from West Linn because we heard the pizza was that good and when I say it did not disappoint, that's an understatement. The crust was flavorful, had the perfect texture, wasn't too "doughy" and the char from the wood fired oven gave it a nice smokiness. The other ingredients were solid as well...the cheese was smooth, the sauce was perfectly balanced and the small pepperonis had just a little more spice to them (we got (1) pepperoni and (1) pepperoni and ham). I hate to be "that guy" but we used to live in Brooklyn, NY (we loved Totonno's and Grimaldi's) and Massachusetts (we loved Regina), and we've struggled to get GREAT pizza in the 6 years we've been out here...now we have a go-to for slammin pies. I feel bad that this post doesn't include photos, but one of the pizzas didn't make it home and the other was attacked before I could get a good pic. Their ranch: Before we left, Randall asked if we wanted peppers, parmesan or ranch, and I declined. He suggested I not pass on their house ranch that they make themselves and I obliged. I'm glad I did. My wife, who is super picky at times, was shocked at how good the ranch was. She said "damn...that's surprisingly good, and I don't even like dill in my ranch, but that's excellent." Basically half of the pepperoni pizza was bathed in ranch and we wished we would have gotten a couple more. Pro Tip: Each pizza feeds 1.5-2 people but if you're hungry, you could probably house a whole pie without regret.

But, we came for pizza... and it was terrible. We chose (2) pepperoni minis, one with white sauce and one with red sauce. The toppings were also lower quality than what would be expected on pizzas at their price point.
