Took my family out for pizza on Friday. They weren't too busy when we got there. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean and they have games for kids. The guy who took my order didn't tell me the total, which was strange, but everything added up so no biggie. The shortfall was the food! We ordered a pizza and wings. The wings were soggy, fatty and just nasty. Have the staff ever tried their food they're putting out? The pizza was okay, but our combo pizza toppings just fell off when picking up a slice. This is by far my favorite pizza. I am a bit biased because I grew up on this pizza at the coast. I moved to portland 15yrs ago and as soon as I discovered Canby had a Fultano's I was thrilled. I drive over from Lake Oswego 1-2x per month to grab a pie to go. Last night, I picked up my pizza put it in my car and grabbed a piece to eat in the parking lot. When I did this I left the key in my car and shut the door (as I have done a million times). Well, come to find out, the remote key battery was low and it made my car doors lock (normally it picks up the key signal and doesn't do this). Everything except my phone was now locked in my car. It was 6:45pm and 32 degrees out. I had to find a locksmith - after finally finding one, it was going to take 40 minutes for him to arrive. The owner of Fultanos was so kind to let me wait inside the warm restaurant. He even made me a fresh pizza to take home. Then, when the locksmith arrived, the owner was kind enough to come out and check to make sure everything was going well (as a small female - I thought this was very kind). Not only is this the best thin corneal crust pizza on the planet (the sauce too- yuuumm), but such a kind owner that truly cares for their customers. He's a hardworking man that works right along side his staff and greets all of his customers. I am forever grateful!! Had I been anywhere else, it would have been a miserable hour. I've been eating Fultano's PIzza for more than 30 years now, and it's pretty much guaranteed to be quality, American "pizza parlor" type pizza. The flavors may not be up there with some of the more "gourmet" options in surrounding cities, but for classic thin crust, it's great. They have a nice lunch buffet, too. I've always thought Fultano's was the perfect pizza to eat cold the next day, which can't be said for all pizzas. Gets a solid 4-4.5 stars from me. read more

Having been away from Oregon for most of the last 26 years (U.S. Navy), I was soooo excited to find Fultano's while I was on a business trip. I ordered an extra large pepperoni, upon delivery it immediately took me back to High School lunch time, going off campus in Clatskanie. I joked with my fellow service members that pizza from Chicago and New York had nothing on Fultano's. The best pizza o have ever had, and I have tried a lot. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza for take out and was given the total of $20.95. I got the restaurant to pick up my pizza and pay and see a sign on the counter advertising large pepperoni pizzas for $18.75. I ask if I get that pricing since my item is the same item being advertised for the lower amount and I was simply told "no". No explanation, no anything. I was trying to be quick so the people behind me could also get their pizza and get out of there as nobody wants to be inside due to the pandemic. Very interesting pricing and advertisements that don't apply to everyone??? Don't think we will be spending any more money here if that's the case. read more

Fultanos delivers independently but you can also get their pizza delivered on We Deliver Eats. Thanks Fultanos for being there for us during this crazy time! We got two pizzas, wings, and cheesy bread. I've eaten at this Fultanos many times and have always had a god experience. During times when dine in is an option they also have a nice salad bar. Why I'm giving it a 3 star pizza was good, but they need to charge people properly. I called in a few pizzas for pickup. I asked about specials well, I ordered a few of them when the person I sent to pick up he was charged regular price. I was told after he picked up and got home. The guy who charged him was an older man who we assume was the owner. We ended up paying $10 more for the order plus tip. This experience is very similar to a review someone else posted. First time coming here. My friend and I came for "all you can eat" buffet lunch. Greeted by a group of friendly people who were very welcoming. The salad bar was well stocked with a variety of fresh items. Freshly cooked pizzas - a selection of four different kinds. A selection of drinks was included in the price - $10. New pizzas were brought out as the crowd whisked thru. Tables were efficiently cleared and cleaned before another group arrived. One of the great things about a locally owned place like Fultanos is that the owner / management are all right there and open to hearing your suggestions / recommendations. I really like their specialty pizzas - the bacon cheesburger is one of my favorites. I was at the Monday night, all you can eat buffet this evening with another family and was hoping that we could have one of those brought out. While that's not their typical pizza to put out under the hot serving lights (fresh lettuce doesn't take the heat very well), they were open to putting myself and my 9 friends to the test to see if nothing would go to waste. I was confident that wouldn't happen and the pizza was gone long before the lettuce wilted. (I only got a couple of slices, it seems like there were others who were eager for this out of the ordinary and quite tasty pie). I also had a salad - the produce was fresh, crispy and well prepared. The breadsticks were good and while I avoid ice cream, the cookies and soda rounded out a good evening. There was enough room for our group to spread out and the kids were entertained and the adults had time / space for conversation. Bigger chains don't have the flexibility or even the motivation (in my opinion) to be as responsive to the customers as locally owned Fultano's is. I am willing to pay a small premium for this quality - of food and service. I don't blindly support an establishment because they are local, I do support this local establishment because of the value they offer and the way they separate themselves from the rest. When you're one of three pizza places within a couple of miles, you need to differentiate yourselves and I think they get 'er done. I recommend their all you can eat buffet (pizza, breadsticks, salad, cookies, soda and ice cream) for $9. I don't think you can beat the price and if you have a large enough group, I imagine they will be willing to consider special requests. I love this place! I spend a certain amount of time each year at the Fairgrounds, walking distance from Fultano's. Skip breakfast, and go to the buffet lunch with an appetite, you'll need it. The salad bar isn't extravagant, but it does a good job with the basics of salad, and it's all fresh and clean. The pizza is really good, thin crust, with a fresh variety being made and put out on the bar constantly. My favorites are the chicken with white sauce, and the chicken with BBQ sauce. The management and staff are always right on top of things, and service with a smile. I go back every chance I get. read more

If you're looking for a fluffy crust or NY style slices, this isn't what you're looking for..but if you're in the mood for a good, crispy but still chewy pizza..these are great. The toppings are always fresh and I like the combinations they offer. I'm a vegetarian and really enjoy their pizza with artichokes and pesto. Their wings were good for those in my family that eat them, and their salad is good too. Their cinnamon sticks are okay..I haven't decided yet if I think they're genius or stupid lol..they're just your plain frozen breadsticks heated up & sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and a side of warm Betty Crocker frosting. Really smart, but smart for the restaurant and not so much for the customer. Are they terrible? no..but I won't be craving them again anytime soon.
