Caspian, added mushrooms, hold the gorgonzola

Another good MOD location! Welcomed immediately as we walked in, and quick to take our order and have it prepared. My favorite is the Caspian which is their BBQ chicken pizza. As with all MODs, they don't nickel and dime you on toppings, so it's a good deal. Crust is thin and crispy which is how I like it, so don't go looking for a greasy deep dish crust here.

Always a good night when we get MOD takeout! The custom pizza deal is just too good to pass up for when we aren't feeling like making dinner. I'm usually never craving pizza Bc other pizza places are so oily and greasy, but I'm always down to get MOD! Pizzas are always fresh, and I don't end up feeling gross after. This past time, I got a Marionberry lemonade which was refreshing! (And would taste delicious mixed with some rum or gin)

Drag marks in the dust on the back of the booth :/

*This is for the cleanliness of the restaurant NOT the food* Our pizzas are good, as always. Consistent, quick and yummy. No complaints. The restaurant is dirty. It needs some love and some attention to detail. Dusty, cobwebs, bits of dust falling from the ceiling. The back of the booths have a layer of dust with little finger prints in it from kids, like my son, who grabbed onto the back. The cushions on the benches had crumbs and oil smeared all over. And not like fresh oil from the dining room not being cleaned in the last day, but like, the whole booth seemed to be smeared with an oily coating. Maybe a restaurant rag that was no longer clean? Either way, it feels like the dining room has taken a bit of a backseat and needs a little attention. Again, food was solid, no complaints. But we'd take it to go next time.

We have tried multiple times to order from this Mod through Uber. Every time it has been denied. Done trying. We will get pizza else where.

Now I'm a fellow big back foodie and I had just gotten off a shift at work so I was HUNGRY. Well, I prob ate like half of the platter before realizing I was full. Like full. So even though the platter was twice as expensive as the sandwich/side combos I normally get here, you're essentially also getting 2+ meals out of a single item. The pork ribs and sliced brisket were sooo good w their spicy bbq sauce and corn bread. The collard greens were aight. I'd prob stick to their sweet potato fries or hush puppies next time. I also want to try their brisket chili one day. It's just hard to deviate from sides I already know I like haaha. Anyways, yeah. Brah. I'll stay saying Briley's is such an awesome bbq joint in north seattle!

This place is a fast-casual gem that holds its own against my all-time faves, Plaza Santa Fe and Tres Hermanos, but with a vibe that is more of a small family divey restaurant in a strip mall with exquisite food but beer rather than a full bar. It also serves extremely authentic clean Mexican food similar to what my grandma used to take. This place has been slinging tacos for 33 years as of tomorrow, which had I known, I would have definitely made it here before now. The only reason I hadn't graced their doorstep sooner is their early closing time--apparently, they don't cater to my midnight taco cravings. The crowd I met while waiting included loyal regulars who've been eating here since the dawn of time and Mexican-American workers who know great Mexican when they taste it. The food isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for-a place where the tacos are stuffed, and the black beans, rice, and churros are the best I have ever had. Just don't show up late--they're not kidding about that early closing time.

I am a tenders aficionado. I used to swing by Heaven Sent at this location every so often to…read morepartake of their fantastic tenders, and was bummed when it closed. But then got quite excited when I saw another chicken spot had opened up in the same space! I've been by twice in the past couple of weeks and had the tenders both times (just the tenders, not the combo). There is a lot to recommend with these tenders. Portion size is good (5 well-sized tenders), plus an airy roll and -- unexpectedly -- 3 - 4 slices of a giant dill pickle (which I love!). The house dipping sauce is delicious, tangy with a tiny bit of subtle heat. The plump tenders come out piping hot and covered with a batter that has a nice crunch to it -- and is well-portioned to the meat. I would not recommend the spicy tenders as it seemed like they just sprinkled some paprika-like spices unevenly over the pieces, the spices did not seem fully integrated into the batter. But the regular tenders are delicious and you get that extra burst of flavor and spice with the dipping sauce (plus the tang of the big pickle slices). The tenders only order came to $15 including tax and tip, not cheap, but par for the course in Seattle. The woman who took my order both times was quite charming, she had nice customer service energy and clearly took pride in the restaurant, which was bright and clean. I wish them success and will personally do my part to support them when I get the tenders urge! ;-)
