The portions were massive, but that just meant more of something I wouldn't want again. The fettuccine carbonara was drowning in a bland, flavorless white sauce--more like a noodle soup than a proper pasta dish. The spaghetti and meatballs? Just okay at best. The noodles were fine, but the meatballs were small, dry, and forgettable--hard to tell if they were homemade or straight from a freezer bag. The atmosphere didn't help. The interior is outdated, with ripped booth seats, dusty décor, and dim lighting in the back. It has a dive-bar vibe, but not in a charming way--more like a place that needs some serious TLC. Maybe the pizza is their strong suit, but based on the pasta, I won't be rushing back to find out.

And I have a huge preference to get individual slices than a the pizza pie. The slices for some reason just tastes better. I really liked the pepperoni Pizza probably the most, but it's pretty greasy, so I i get it sometimes. I i also choose the pizzas that have a lot of flavor with maybe sausage and peppers. I think you can't go wrong here because there's something that matches everybody's flavor palette if you like pizza. I've also called in for pickup, and they have been willing to bring it out to my car, which has been a lifesaver. That's why I don't have to I get my walk around and try to navigate getting into the building. And that made my lunch, which was two slices of pizza tastes so good as I sat in my car and devoured them. Fortunately Pagliacci pizza is across the water for me and we don't have any over here in Kitsap County. If we did, I'd probably eat pizza very often, and that actually would not be good for me and my health.

Parking was well designated and straightforward to navigate in and out of. The front of the building was clearly marked and the interior was clean. A friendly worker greeted me soon upon my entry and I looked over the pizza options in the pizza bar area. Interested in something plain, I went with a slice of cheese pizza and opted for it warmed when asked if I wanted it heated up. Payment went without hiccup. I grabbed a few napkins and was off to my car. The crust was thin, not soggy, and well warmed through. I could taste the tomato-red sauce and the cheese was a thickness that I could taste and did not weigh the crust down. A good all around experience.

There's indoor booths, tables, bar counter, and outdoor tables during warmer, drier months for seating. I ordered directly a large Puget Pounder, no menu needed, plus requested a takeout box & ice water. It took about 20 minutes to receive my order, plus a plate with napkins. Nice appearance of the pizza, chockful of toppings, and thankfully a much thinner crust edge. Red pepper flakes and parm shakers were available at the table, if needed. Service was okay, friendly demeanor at the end. No follow up or water refill, I was only asked whether I needed a bigger box. I declined and layered 3/4 of the remaining pizza slices in a medium (wasn't given a large box). I paid at the counter, where I got sticker shock, because a large Puget Pounder with tax & tip was nearly $46! After being on a Domino's and Little Caesar's pizza budget or Pagliacci slices, that was sticker shock. Pro tip: I didn't use their discounts emailed to me during football playoffs. But will definitely download their new app. First time users get $10 off. Just saying.
