I've only eaten at MOD Pizza once, and the only negative thing I could say is that there's not another location near my home in Katy! My co-worker was looking at Google maps for an address we were working at, and the all caps "MOD" caught his attention. We decided to give the food a try after seeing that it was the same price no matter how many toppings, so price was what drew us to MOD in the first place. After shaving eaten there, it will be the last thing I mention to anyone when I tell them about it. We were greeted by the crew when we walked in the door, and we had our individual orders with a matter of minutes. The menu in the wall was concise as well as easy to read, the ingredients looked fresh and inviting. There were even interesting choices for beverages; I'd never had a Blackberry Lemonade before. It was perfectly sweet and tart. I enjoyed a Calexico pie, though I could have chosen any or all of the many toppings for the same price. I'll happily recommend MOD to all my friends! read more

Pretty good customizable pizza for a reasonable price. Subway or chipotle style but for pizza. Fire oven fresh. Thin crust, as many toppings as you can handle , good drink selection and shakes. If you have food allergies stay far away from this place! They claim to offer gluten-free crust but they cook it on top of grates that they coat in flour. This was my first time trying this place with my wife. When we walked in and started looking at the menu to see what we wanted we explained this to Ashley and told her to please give us a minute to figure out what we were going to order. She continually asked us what we wanted about every 45 seconds even though there was nobody in line behind us and we repeatedly asked her to just give us a minute. Once I realized that the person helping us (Ashley) had grabbed a flour covered pan to cook on, I asked her if that was their gluten-free protocol because it made no sense. I also asked her if she could just use a clean pan not coated in flour. She responded with a HUGE attitude that their policy on allergens is to change their gloves and try not to allow toppings with said allergens to touch the pizza, but that there were no guarantees. She became visibly upset when I asked her if she could please just use a clean pan and flat out told me no, that's not their policy. After another staff member realized what was happening and stepped in to help us since Ashley was terrible, things got a little better. The associate that took over accommodated my request for a clean pan and was much more polite. Ashley then started talking about how we were ridiculous for our request to another associate right in front of us. She had a kind of screw you guys attitude. We had originally ordered 2 different pizzas and once mine was put together, Ashley made a point of coming over and touching my pizza with her obviously flour covered gloves and gave me a look like "F@*€ you." At this point I just told them to get rid of that pizza and to keep Ashley away from the one my wife had ordered. Our pizza was ok. We got the #7. 'dillon james.' The crust was a little burnt but it wasn't terrible. Overall the second employee that helped us brought my review up from 1 star to 2. I wont be returning though after having to deal with Ashley; there's absolutely no excuse for her behavior and attitude. I wasn't a snob, needy, or rude and I think my request was pretty reasonable. read more

Yes. The hype is real. Mod pizza has a customer for LIFE with me!!! Good economically friendly pizza with unlimited toppings. The "mod" is enough to last me through the day. The staff is always friendly and helpful with suggestions. The only not so bomb thing about mod is that the lines can sometimes be a little excessive, but I suppose that comes with the territory of being so delicious! Love love love this place. I love MOD Pizza! Until I got pizza from this location, MOD Pizza was my favorite pizza. We placed an order for curbside pickup at the West Galleria location, but when we got there, we didn't see a number to call. We waited, thinking they would come out with our pizzas, since they asked for a description of our vehicle. They didn't bring it out, so I went in to get it. That's what I was trying to avoid by ordering curbside. Anyway, it smelled delicious! When we got home, though, we realized that they put jalapeños on my pizza which I did not order. I took them off, but my pizza was still ruined. I don't like jalapeños! That's why I didn't order them. Worse, though, the crust was so soggy, we couldn't even hold it like a slice of pizza. I may go back, to give them another chance, but right now, I'm not sure when I'll be able to eat pizza again. read more

We were in Houston for my 5 year old sons birthday trip from New Orleans. We have never been to Mod Pizza and my kids wanted pizza so this was perfect being walking distance from our hotel. So far this place has impressed me twice! The last time i was there I ordered the Bob and subbed pesto for the cilantro (yuck) and added ricotta. Holy Moly, perfection! You wouldn't think that a place that serves pizza in this format would do it so successfully, but the crust is thin and great and the toppings, (all million of them), are fresh and tasty. The line was long, but it moved very quickly as all of the employees are very efficient. As far as price, it cost no more than your national chain pizza, at less than 8 bucks for an 11", no matter how many toppings you choose! Food is good and been here before when staff was great, but tonight was different. I went to the online order pickup counter where staff were busily making pizza's. I didn't want to interrupt, so I waited for a "may I help you?" which I never got. I had placed an online order 30 min prior (approx). In the meantime, some other customer went to the cash register for her pickup and they directed her down to the online pickup counter where she just cut in front of me asking for her order and they gladly gave it to her. I then stepped up and showed them my phone with the order and they tried to give me a pizza for dine in. I said that wasn't mine and that I was there for online pickup. I showed them my screen of my order on my phone and then the employee said "no! YOUR NAME?" and I gave it and then he handed me my food and said "is this you?" with no bag, nothing. I met up a friend here for lunch on my birthday awhile back. I'm familiar with this DIY pizza chain as I frequent their location in Vintage Park at least once a month. As we both had a tight lunch hour, I went ahead and ordered both of our pizzas online for pick up to eat there. Our order was ready when we arrived, but unfortunately my pizza was missing cheese :( They quickly made a brand new pizza again for me and let me keep the cheese-less one (which honestly wasn't THAT bad). The other times that I've ordered here my to go order was correct but I always double-check it before I leave. For the price and unlimited amount of toppings though, this is still one of my favorite fast food chains. read more
