I'm still a Pieology girl. But there isn't one nearby so I came here. I wasn't happy to see all the pre-made and pre prepped crusts but the crust was one of the best oarts. They are VERY stingy with their meat toppings. Like.... how many times do I have to say MORE PLEASE before you give it to me. EXTRA ____ or MORE _____ please doesn't mean literally ONE piece extra. To them ... extra pepperoni = ONE single slice of pepperoni more each time you ask. This goes for any of the meat toppings. Veggies they have NO problem giving you fistfuls. Once our pies were cooked I enjoyed it. I wish they cut them into smaller slices so I could enjoy more. ALL THE REVIEWS ACROSS MOD PAGES ARE TRUE when they say they pretty much always BURN the crusts. Hard to enjoy what's good about the pizza when you bite into BLACK burnt crust that covers half the pizza. Either way it was better quality than I thought. Great pizza. I love that the crust is easy on my stomach and not hard to digest. I also love the chicken caesar salad. My only reason for a 4 star is, they need to add more meat on the pizzas. When a customer usually spends $40 dollars for three mod pizzas and one mod salad. I think extra meet should be a given. I do give them a 5 star for effort, good quality food and the fact. I noticed they hire employees with disabilities. Spend your money here they care about the citizens in their community. read more

Such great pizza - especially for vegans! And the customer service is always outstanding. We ordered cauliflower crust one time but made a note "Vegan. No animal products." When it was ready to pick up the young woman came out to our car to let us know that when she was boxing it up she saw our note about no animal products. She wanted us to know the cauliflower crust has cheese in it. She offered to remake it without charging us! We were so grateful and impressed. Great service and awesome food. It was my first time to a MOD Pizza, and I was definitely impressed. Went there with my family. I love that we can customize our pizza however we want without worrying about the added cost of each topping like the other pizza places. They charge by the size. My favorite was the cauliflower crust and the cheesy bread. But that's a seasonal thing, I think. The atmosphere is very chill and relaxing, very family friendly. Customer service is wonderful. I especially like Cindy, the manager there. She always remember my name and take the time to come out and greet me whenever I go there. Funny lady, always makes me laugh. I've been to a couple MOD's before. They were ok, nothing to write home about. Or...a Yelp review for that matter! But today while running errands it seemed to be the only option. And I'm really happy it was! This location (my now go-to) completely changed my outlook on MOD pizza. The employee that helped us was outstanding (I'll even forgive him for being a Raiders fan!) He went above and beyond to make sure not only was our pizza sublime, but that we were completely satisfied with out meal! I'm not a huge "yelp-er", mostly got the app to sneak a peek at other people's reviews before I visit a new establishment. Love their food when it's warm, not squished and upside down in the box. Also, their team "forgot" to pass my Uber driver my drink, and when I called: they couldn't do anything about the missing drink I paid for or their product being presented cold and upside down. I walked in about 3 hours before they close and the girl behind the counter tells me they're only taking online orders because they don't have enough people there. There were at least 6 workers there and they didn't look busy at all. I asked her "so if I order the pizza on my phone while standing here you'll make it, but you won't take my verbal order and make the pizza?" She had to think pretty hard about that one until she finally said yes. Very lazy workers and terrible customer service. MOD Pizza is the go to place for my wife and Me the last couple months. The one near our home in Chesapeake, VA is our usual stop. While visiting family in Oregon we decided to grab lunch at this location. As expected, the customized pizza tasted wonderful but the toppings weren't hot. For those new to MOD, the paradigm is Made On Demand pizza served quickly. The pre-cook most of the toppings so when you order it's just a matter of cooking the crust and melting the cheese in their 800 degree oven. You can order order as many toppings as you like for one low price. The challenge is to get the toppings hot without burning the crust. On this occasion it didn't quite work. So "why four stars?" When I told the staff our pizza wasn't quite right they offered to make a new one. Unwilling to wait we declined but they gave us a certificate for a free pizza next time. That kind of customer service deserves recognition. read more

I really like MOD Pizza and have been to several of their restaurants , so the more locations there are, the better. With that in mind, I happened to notice a new location as I was driving on Burnside (at Eastman Pkwy) in Gresham. Having duly noted that, I returned a little later to get a pizza for dinner. I like to "build my own" pizza at MOD with just olive oil on the crust and no red sauce at all. The service was friendly and efficient and my pizza turned out just right, just like at all their locations. I know I can depend on the consistency of MOD Pizza. read more

I would recommend never ordering online at this location....when ordering online they give you a time it will be ready and they are always 25 minutes past that time and they have yet to actually pay attention to the special instructions box on the order. Closest Mod to my house, unfortunatly the worst one in the chain. I always ask for it lightly cooked, all you can taste is the charred crust, after picking a few tomato's off, that should not have been on it, and the artichoke leaves (inedible choking hazard) I tried it, they offered to remake it, it would be so much easier to make it right the first time. I don't mind driving the extra miles to go to the Clackamas or 122nd and Halsey locations. If the Gresham Mod is your first visit to one, don't think that it is representative of the whole chain, they are the only one that has ever dissapointed me every time. read more

Having only tried MOD once before, we decided to stop by last night for dinner and use a gift card we'd received for Christmas. I didn't think much of it the first time and thought I should give it another chance. We got two Mega pizzas (which, of course, turned out to be much to much, but was fine because we'd have leftovers) and an order of Mega cheesy garlic breadsticks. The flavor of the pizzas (both toppings and crust) was really good. I also very much enjoyed the sauce. However, both pizzas were undercooked. The cheesy garlic sticks, on the other hand, were VERY undercooked - the dough was almost completely translucent. We dealt with the pizzas and decided to request a replacement breadstick order, which the employee working the oven apologetically accommodated. They need to not be afraid of a few slightly burnt spots on the bottom of the crust - that's how wood-fired pizza should look and TASTE. Overall, I guess I might go back to MOD in the future, but don't really understand the hype. read more

This was my third time eating here at this Mod, but I don't think I'll be coming back to this location. I came here with my spouse and we both received pizzas with extremely burnt crust and raw veggies. We piled on the toppings since that's one of our favorite parts about eating at Mod, but there was still no flavor at all. Service was also lackluster. The employees really took their sweet time making not just our pizzas, but everyone elses in line. I know Mod can be good, the Clackamas location is THE BEST, but I would not recommend the Gresham location to my greatest enemy. Oh MOD, how I love you so much. MOD is one of those few chain restaurants I've happily never really had an issue with. This location has a pretty amazing view of Mt. Hood, especially during sunset. The staff here are incredibly friendly, well trained, and seem to love what they do. When the pizza cook was about to put my pizza in the oven he noticed a fly had landed on it and requested the girl remake my pizza. Granted, this is something I think every restaurant should do, but I just thought it was a great thing to actually see. Back in Chicago, it was astonishing the things I'd see restaurants do or try to get away with. I'll definitely be back at this MOD location and probably start coming here frequently. This place is amazing and I wonder why I never came here before...kid wanted pizza, I wanted salad, we both left full and very happy with our mesls. So happy we went back later with the old man who also loved it... there are so many choices and the pies are perfect sizes... I just had to come on here, when going to Mod this evening, their was a door dash rep in their picking up food with no mask. And if that wasn't bad enough their was a girl who was putting the pizzas in the oven to cook with a long ponytail swinging back in forth. Her ponytail was so long; that it barley missed swiping the pizza with stands of her hair. She also kept taping her thighs with her bare hands that she of had gloves on. I couldn't believe it and to put the cheery on top, the gentleman cutting the pizzas before they hand them off didn't have gloves on. If I could post the video I would show that to. read more

While Mod Pizza is cheap & overall tastes descent, today the staff were a mess! Throwing pizzas on the floor burning at least 3 pizza's while I was waiting. when white sauce in bottle would not come out there 2 bottles thrown down on floor or in a bin that couldn't be seen. It wasn't that busy but clearly leadership was needed as well as guidance on organizing the pizzas coming out of oven, pizzas were all over the place, mine was cold by the time I saw it and had to direct the staff that mine had been sitting for a while. Really MOD pizza! Get a handle on your staff because Gresham doesn't need sloppy, messy, careless, inconsiderate service!!! read more
