My niece and sister bought me lunch here. I had never been. I didn't know what to expect so I chose from the menu and made no changes. My niece got her pepperoni and cheese, we both chose regular thin crust. My sister chose a cauliflower keto friendly thin crust and piled on the toppings. I'm definitely going crazy with toppings next time. It wasn't busy at about 3 in the afternoon, middle of the week. Plenty of tables to chose from. We sat and talked and gazed out the windows that expose the outside view with the sunshine filling the space. Our pizzas came out pretty fast. There are post cooking options also, like sauces and stuff. I kept mine simple. My niece loves ranch and I'm sure would drink it if someone would let her. We prayed and dove in. My niece and I ate with little conversation. My sister was the one who had a Togo box. Not us. The pizza was crispy. Right amount of toppings. It was a little speedy but delicious. Would I come back? I can't speak for the pizza, but the salad is absolutely amazing! It's always super fresh, with tons of great toppings to choose from. The food here is decent, especially if you're into a Chipotle-style, build-your-own thin pizza. The atmosphere is relaxed, which is nice. However, the service is painfully slow, whether the place is busy or not. On one occasion, my partner and I were the only customers, with 3-4 employees in the kitchen. Instead of attending to us right away, we were told to wait while they carried on with whatever they were ALL doing for 5-10 minutes before starting on our order. No one was able to just come out and take care of us... The lack of promptness, which they seem to not care about either.. We have been here a few times and have been happy with everything every visit. I really enjoyed the conversation with the person peeking over my almost completed pile of an order. He was a gem to talk too and we have several things in common. Regardless that it was a huge rush, he took the time to chat while keeping busy and efficient. I really enjoyed the thin crust but love that there's an option for thick crust as well. I'm also usually not a fan of sauces pizza but found MOD's had the right amount of sauce to crust and cheese ratio. I also love that the pizza wasn't super greasy! The Calexico was better than I anticipated and was full of flavour with a nice bit of heat to it. The addition of blue cheese was surprisingly perfect! I'd strongly recommend trying this pizza out if you're looking for some spice. The Pepperoni & Cheese half of my pizza was classic, no complaints here! I really enjoyed their house made lemonade and ice teas. My personal favourite is the Marion Blackberry Lemonade. I've previously tried the Caramelized Pear iced tea but it wasn't for me. read more

Bang for your buck I would not say it's a 5 star. I would not say that this is the best pizza by any means. It is a fast food pizza sort of situation. I have tried it once before and though it was good thought the price was a bit more than I would like to pay for a typical personal size pizza. With that said they had one of their Flash mob sales for $5 you got a basic Hawaiian pizza. The crust was nice and thin nothing abnormal but was done very uniformly. The sauce was very sweet very good and went well with the red onion. The ham and pineapple were very good and it was definitely well worth the $5 for the 11in. What has happen to food & good service in the USA? I called MOD Pizza to order pizza and while confirming my order the woman on the line rudely hung up on me. I should have called. back up & canceled but it was late and we were hungry. I went to pickup the pizza and the place looked like a kindergarten had taken over this pizza joint? So as usual the order was incomplete. So i had my jalapeños put on the side then took the pizza to my daughter's house. Man, what a mess. We have loved MOD pizza since they opened in Gresham. Always good pizza, no complaints. I think I could get better pizza at a gas station than what I got from Gresham MOD tonight. The wait was far to long and food hurried due to all the Uber eats orders I'd guess. All three of our pizzas were under cooked and poorly put together. The roasted whole garlic we all love was almost totally RAW, not what you want to bite into. Customer service was good however. Maybe they're suffering from the lack of motivated workers? My favorite pizza place- better than all the others! I love this place! They have so many pizza options. They have different crusts, sauces, cheeses, and toppings! It's like a Subway but for pizza. Unlimited toppings for one price. I always get regular tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese with the toppings pepperoni, pineapple, and jalapeños. They also have sauces they'll add once your pizza is cooked, I get the hot buffalo sauce. Their lemonade is to die for, I'll crave it sometimes. The cinnamon sticks are also delicious, it comes with dipping sauce too. Any pizza lover will be satisfied here. Picky eaters will adore this place too. This was my first MOD pizza and this place is GOOD!! It's brand new with a Subway line feel where you can make your own pizza or you can pick a pizza toppings already picked. The employees at MOD where very nice and had input on toppings. I had the Tyler and the Petra both where really good I added jalapeño peppers and chicken on to it. While as the Tyler I added jalapeño peppers. The only negative thing is they could have put in more seating but other than that everything is well done. We got our pizza and after just sitting down one of the workers (he's a gentleman) comes up to us and starts yelling at us to get out and that we are wasting his time and started cussing at us "f*ck you guys" "f*ck you, get tf out" "your wasting my time" "the store is closing b*tch" when we genuinely didn't know the store was closing. He also had what looked like a knife in his hands. First off this review is for this location, I typically love Mod in general. But the staff here was HORRIBLE. There were 6 workers dinking around and literally just doing nothing. I stood in line for ten minutes when I was the only person. The worker asked me multiple times what I wanted and wasn't even paying attention to me. We didn't know how good we had it until we went to another location in Portland and realized how much we appreciated being greeted upon entering, rather than being ignored until someone feels like making eye contact. The employees make you feel welcome and prepare your pizza with ease. The outdoor seating area isn't always the most pleasant since it's at a busy intersection, but it's clean and there is plenty of space. read more

We went to order and when we told the man we were ordering salads he sighed like we were inconveniencing him by simply being there. The lettuce was old and slightly brown and they were out of toppings such as bacon. They did not offer to mix our salads like they have done in the past. Then after our salads were done we waited by the register for over 5 minutes waiting to be rung out. We watched as they made pizza after pizza while we just stood by the register. Rather than filling orders of people inside restaurant they were concerned much more about Grub Hub and my other pickup company's that weren't even there. Waited 45 minutes to an hour. I would like to start by saying I only mean this review for this specific location. I really like Mod Pizza and their other establishments. I had made an online order that was supposed to be ready at 5:30. I sent my husband to get it, and when he got there he was told that they didn't even start it yet. So he waits. Thinking they were getting on it. 30 minutes go by and he checks in and asks how the order is going and they say "we don't have that order." They guy then proceeded to tell him that he is just going to have to reorder. But my original one is already payed for. He's not going to order and pay a second time. That is stupid. Any way, eventually he resolves the issue and he gets the pizza an hour after he was originally supposed to be able to pick it up. When I opened it, there wasn't any cheese on it.. I've been to several MOD's around Portland but I would have to say this one is my favorite. The Gresham location seem to be on top of things. The whole restaurant was clean and spotless and the toppings area was very clean and all looked so fresh. The service there was top notch, everyone was friendly and helpful.. but there was an employee there who caught our eye, I think his name was Ronnie, said he was brand new, was about 5 or 6 days brand new.. and he was great, he didn't stop cleaning and was chatting up all the customers making sure we were all okay. His customer service skills were on point and we will def be back to this location more often because of that. read more
