This Wendy's has 1.5 stars out of 5 which is pretty damn bad. But we were in a hurry and wanted something fast so we pulled into the drive through and crossed our fingers. In all fairness, the majority of 1 star reviews have to do with rude night crew service and online delivery issues. We visited around noon and the employees were friendly, the line moved quickly and our 5 For $5 orders were correct. But the reason I'm only giving 3 stars is the food. Everything kind of felt thrown together. Yes, I get it, it's a fast food place - but no level of friendly service will make up for lukewarm fries and burger with room temperature nuggets. Ordered food last night. A large fry and a Dave's Triple without cheese because of an allergy. Simple stuff. What do they give me? Food: Firstly, we didn't order drinks, because the last few times, they've gotten the order wrong, or the drinks taste off, either flat or like they add just a little flavoring of some kind. The car received some drinks, but didn't move away, ten minutes later, they got a small frostbite and a small bag. Our turn - as I said, asked for salt and ketchup, received salt and pepper. Asked the cashier whether there were utensils in the bag, he said "yes, straws and fork for the salad are in the bag". Uh...we didn't order drinks, and surprise...no utensils in the bag. Yes we asked for them when we ordered and asked for confirmation that they were in the bag...oh well, maybe I could try using one of the straws to drink my salad. I rarely leave reviews and never negative ones, but everything costs more, and this order was almost 30 dollars. It would have been 40+ if we had ordered drinks as well. But when I arrive, the only option I have is to go through the Drive-thru - which is lined up out on Burnside? The dining room is closed. If you are having staffing issues, perhaps reflect on the salaries & benefits offered, the workplace climate. I ordered a burger with everything on it and when i got to the window i got the wrong burger. I asked if they could make me one with everything on it and the manager was very rude about it and demanded the burger back. I didn't mind giving it back because it wasn't what I had ordered. When I got home I opened my burger and the manager didn't even remake it; she used the same burger, the bun was falling apart and mushy. I have worked fast food before and this is no way to treat your customers. The man at the window was polite and kind about it though.
