The real issue is ordering nuggets or fries and then told after the fact that sauce is 50 cents? What the he'll happened to the service at Wendy's. They were out of ice in both machines, ok it happens. When I went to let them know, three people just stood there ignoring me. When I finally got someone to notice me. He acted as if I insulted him by letting them know the machines were out of ice. The guy taking orders, it's hard to understand a word that come out of his mouth. And he got every order wrong Once every thing was ordered. This Wendy's has 1.5 stars out of 5 which is pretty damn bad. But we were in a hurry and wanted something fast so we pulled into the drive through and crossed our fingers. In all fairness, the majority of 1 star reviews have to do with rude night crew service and online delivery issues. We visited around noon and the employees were friendly, the line moved quickly and our 5 For $5 orders were correct. But the reason I'm only giving 3 stars is the food. Everything kind of felt thrown together. Yes, I get it, it's a fast food place - but no level of friendly service will make up for lukewarm fries and burger with room temperature nuggets. If you don't have enough heads to run a store/ fast food place you need to close the doors or higher MORE people for night shifts because you CANT have one person running EVERYTHING by themselves this is so unprofessional. On a delivery order - an empty bun instead of a cheeseburger, missing nuggets, half empty box of fries, no sauces, none of the ordered toppings on the chili, small frosty instead of medium, and the entire order was cold. Food: Firstly, we didn't order drinks, because the last few times, they've gotten the order wrong, or the drinks taste off, either flat or like they add just a little flavoring of some kind. I'm allergic to some food dyes, so can't have any additives in my tea or sprite. ,ordered 2 different burgers, two small fries, and an apple pecan chicken salad...my companions said their fries and burgers were okay tasting, but, they asked for salt and ketchup and received salt and pepper. The apple pecan salad had apples, lettuce, chicken crumbles and craisins under some bleu cheese...no pecans though. C'mon guys, it's in the name of the salad! Service: Ordering at the speaker seemed to go okay and bonus, only one car in front of us! So we pulled up and waited...and waited...and waited. The car received some drinks, but didn't move away, ten minutes later, they got a small frostbite and a small bag. Our turn - as I said, asked for salt and ketchup, received salt and pepper. Asked the cashier whether there were utensils in the bag, he said "yes, straws and fork for the salad are in the bag". Uh...we didn't order drinks, and surprise...no utensils in the bag. Yes we asked for them when we ordered and asked for confirmation that they were in the bag...oh well, maybe I could try using one of the straws to drink my salad. I rarely leave reviews and never negative ones, but everything costs more, and this order was almost 30 dollars. It would have been 40+ if we had ordered drinks as well. I use the Wendy's app, so my order goes in, is paid for, all for my convenience AND your efficiency . But when I arrive, the only option I have is to go through the Drive-thru - which is lined up out on Burnside? The dining room is closed. If you are having staffing issues, perhaps reflect on the salaries & benefits offered, the workplace climate. But now I am spending too much time waiting, when I could've gone to a local non-chain, been seated, and halfway through my second beer, in the time the sands of my life wasted away waiting in your terrible line - which is what I'll be doing from now on. I ordered a burger with everything on it and when i got to the window i got the wrong burger. I asked if they could make me one with everything on it and the manager was very rude about it and demanded the burger back. I didn't mind giving it back because it wasn't what I had ordered. When I got home I opened my burger and the manager didn't even remake it; she used the same burger, the bun was falling apart and mushy.
