My husband just sat in line at this Wendy's for about 10 minutes. He finally pulls up to order & the lady says, "Welcome to Wendy's, sorry we're closed." He said it's straight up 3:00 p.m. & she said sorry!! He had at least 5 cars in line behind him. If they were going to close, they should have come out and cut the line off at some point so people didn't sit wasting their time. Hopefully they will end up out of business. Staff are incompetent, can't take a simple order. At the first window, they checked my order, got 75% of it wrong. We fixed the order there, they read it back correctly, we went to the next window and picked up the order, only to find they had NOT fixed the order at all. Took the burger that was incorrect back to them and showed them the receipt, they gave us a new burger. It was not the burger that we paid for. Didn't even give straws for drinks. Horrible customer service. Cash only because their machines were down. Then we get to the window and tried to order a frosty because we forgot to and the young lady with attitude said we could not because the "check" was closed out and we would have to go all the back around and through the line again. Then at the second window the other young lady with attitude handed us juice boxes and just said "here", no greetings whatsoever. Amazed that it averages 1.5 stars. Went to the drive through and sat for 10 minutes. Got to the window and they said they were already closed even though their was still 5 min to go. When I mentioned that, they said they were closing 5 minutes early and their was supposed to be a sign saying that. Idk what they hoped to gain by closing 5 minutes early. This might me the worst trained staff I have ever seen. People get orders wrong all the time. That's part of the business. But when you don't understand what you did wrong after it is explained to you multiple times, there is a severe lack of training. When it takes you twice the time to fix the problem that it took to create the problem, you have a severe lack of training. I can understand why this store has such a terrible rating. Went to Wendy's on burnside in Gresham for dinner for my family after I got off work. they forgot to give me one of my burgers, had to go up to the drive thru window because you couldn't go inside. Told them about it and they said to go wait in my car and they would bring it out. Waited over twenty minutes then went back to the window and they had forgot about me. When they finally gave me my burger it was the saddest burger I ever saw. Not even worthy of the name burger. Will not go back to that Wendy's ever. After paying over $43.00 for dinner you would think they would want to get your order right. If I could have given them a zero I would have. My mom and I went through the drive thru for a quick bite to eat, and got what we almost always get. She got a junior bacon cheeseburger dry with just the meat, cheese, bacon, tomato, pickles, and bun with an order of fries. I got a junior bacon cheeseburger plain and dry, so just the meat, cheese, bacon, and bun with an order of fries. The first time as we drove away, we opened our burgers to find them smothered in mayonnaise and ketchup, everything on both except no pickles. We got back in the drive thru line and explained what happened over intercom. Once we got to the window, the worker tried giving us someone else's order. Finally, she gave us our new order. We pulled over to the parking lot to check to be safe, and we got one burger smothered in mayonnaise again with everything but pickles, and one cheeseburger, just the meat and cheese. We went into the restaurant this time and asked to speak to the manager and explained our situation. He said he'd make us a new order, which was brought to us by another worker without any apology, just a, "Here." Very disappointed in the experience, won't be coming back. read more

Went through drive thru and they forgot two things off my order, so I knocked on the door and asked nicely if I could get my missing stuff and I had to go through the drive thru again. When I got to the order place I explained the situation and after about every second word I was interrupted by the worker aggressively saying "OK" and finally got a "Ok then pull up to the window". She kept me waiting about 7 full minutes before she even opened the damn window. I was just sitting there like a dumbass with all these cars behind me, and it took 25 minutes. Long story short is Alley at the drive up window charged me more for my order and when I corrected her she went uncorked on me and cussed at me and threw my $5 bill back at me and called me all kinds of nasty names as well as insulting me for driving a nice car. Then her friend Andreas stepped up to the plate and gave me the double arm middle finger at me just to look cool. I talked to the manager Mitchell who was nice, but asking me if I ever did any thing stupid as a teenager. Doesn't win him any points to justify their actions. People were nice! 8/5/19 placed an order for 5 people. First time thru counter the cashier forgot 2 items, had to wait in line to order them again. I asked for items to be put in different bags...going to 3 homes ... was told they will be in there own bag. I got my order and nothing was specified so I went up to the counter and asked for help...didn't want to rummage thru people's food. After their help. My chicken BLT 4/4 was given in place of a biggie bag to one home. 2 Jr cheese burgers with tomato and lettuce went to one home in place of biggie bags..(the biggie bags contained the wrong burger) don't know who got my daughter's double stack..she got bacon ... she must not be an American cause she hated bacon. Anyway after asking for help they gave it to us all scrambled. Wendy's was the last hope for burger places. Maybe there is no hope. I spent 44 something on the second day. Total of aprox 79$. I realize this is just a fast food location, but the customer service is terrible. I used the drive through and ordered three .99 cent Hamburgs no onions and a .99 cent French fry. I gave them my debit card and they charged me $5.46. I thought ok, maybe they misunderstood my order and charged me for a larger fry. I got my order and started to drive to my home in downtown Portland. On my way I realize I got the hamburgers, but no fries. I called them and spoke with the manager. I explained the over charge and no fries. She offered to replace the fries. I told her I live downtown and I'm not coming back and I was over charged. She apologized and offered to give me free fries on my return visit. My return visit? So I can not get what I ordered and get over charged. I don't think so.
