My brother-in-law wanted hamburger pizza and the only pizza place in my area that had it was Mod They seem to have a standard pizza and add toppings that roll off the pizza when you open the box. The hamburger tasted like it had been cooked and then frozen. The service wasn't bad and the small cakes they have are very good. My recommendation is go to Trader Joe's get their pizza dough and make your own would be better than Mod. read more

Don't even bother spending your money here! You'd think after a violation on food handling there would be a change.. NOPE. Huge red flag tonight, I watched the pizza baker pull my pizza out of the oven, place it into the box, and use her BARE HANDS to adjust how the pizza fit in the box. Her response to my comment on putting a pair of gloves was, "my hands are clean". Sorry but you can't tell me that after handling a peel your hands are clean?! read more

The pizza is good if they don't mess it up. Chances are, they will. If you order online, they mess it up. If you go in the store they actually give you the wrong pizza. I think next time I'll bring treats for the kiddies that are running this place and maybe get better results. Seriously, hire some adults. read more

I thought It was good pizza at a reasonable Price. They have a salad you actually build from scratch. We will definitely be back soon. read more

The value is pretty great and the service is on par, great system and concept, problem is their pizza is tasteless, crust has no flavor, just very bland, I really want to like this place though in three attempts it remains sub par. Quality, seasonings, ingredients can never be justified by price, it just reminds me of why its so reasonably priced.. Sorry read more

I called into MOD Pizza, and then showed up about 15 minutes later, and they have not even started making my pizza. This place is very unreliable and they kids working behind the counter could care less. Avoid this place read more

This is fast pizza. It is the big mac of pizza. The Whopper. The Chalupa of pizza. But I ordered a pie and the friendly girl said oh, we don't have tomatoes. Which would be valid if they weren't next door to a Spouts grocery store. read more

I think they purposely hire folks who are the most antisocial employees they can find. The place is a mess, the workers constantly wipe their nose and their mouth as they're making pizzas with the gloves. I had to correct our guy several times. The ingredients for the pizzas are all over the place And the oh too cool for school guy who put the pizzas in the oven doesn't seem to give a crap as he slams pizzas and boxes all over the place. This is a place of dire need of some adult supervision for sure... And this is on a busy Friday night. read more

You got rid of ricotta? Because your supplier, yada yada? The store in the same complex sells it how hard is it to get? How many guests did you disappoint with this move? We can't build our pizzas without it, can't imagine we're the only ones who's going to go elsewhere. PS, I was in purchasing, if your guy can't figure out how to get ricotta cheese to your units you need a new director of purchasing, otherwise poor excuse and probably not the real reason $. If you want to/need to reduce costs then up charge for it need be. Bring back ricotta. Oh, and clean out your chilled beverage dispensers once in a while will ya ? Supplier can't get ricotta cheese...ridic u lous. read more

For the past year, we have been eating lunch here about once a week. Love the food and the staff is always great!

I hate to say it, but if you think the pizza from MOD is good, then you've never had a good slice of pizza. I hope this business does well, but they seriously need to step up their game. read more

I recently visited the Cave Creek location of your establishment, and was impressed with the quality of the Dillion James pizza. As a result, I decided to place an online order for pickup of the same pizza, as well as a cheesy bread, at approximately 5:15 PM. Upon receiving confirmation of my order, I promptly made my way to the store. Upon arrival at 5:39 PM, I noticed that the pickup area was empty and approached the counter to inquire about the status of my order. I was met with an unprofessional attitude from the baker, who stated that they did not have my order under that name and required the name it was placed under. I provided my name, Jameel Adum, as well as the confirmation number and my payment information from the website. The baker stated that this information was not helpful and refused to assist me further. I requested to speak with the manager, but was dismayed to discover that the baker was also the manager. He proceeded to ignore me and attend to other customers' orders. After some time, I approached him again and inquired about the status of my order. He then walked over to the computer and informed me that my order had been made, but someone had taken it. He offered no solution to the problem, leaving me feeling frustrated and ignored. I requested that my order be canceled and my money refunded, but the manager refused to provide me with a receipt or confirmation of this action. This lack of organization, communication and customer service has left a negative impression on me and I would appreciate a proper solution for this bad experience and clear communication about it. Manager said his name was Marty read more

The service will get better but the pies are great. Very thin crust and your choice of toppings.

Have been watching the buildout of the space and figured we'd try it for lunch. Having never been to MOD before, it seemed fairly straight forward and fast. Went for 1/2 Calexico and 1/2 Tristan which seemed like a good combination for us to try. However, after finding what appeared to be wood shaving in the pizza we approached the staff for a quick explanation. Without any apparent manager around, the two staff members were guessing at random things that it might be. The first response I heard was that "it was....gross". Not sure what food safety protocols, if any, are in place across MOD, but suggest someone get to the bottom of this quickly. Food safety isn't anything to laugh off and certainly hope corporate would support that. Buyer beward....foreign, unidentified particles in the pizza! read more

Great tasting pizzas! They have a great crew. They welcome you when you walk in, explain menu items and ingredients. The prices are also good. read more

I had great expectations for an awesome pizza. I was a little disappointed. Good points; you can order by phone or walk up. They have several different sizes, it is one charge no matter what you put on it. It is prepared fast. It is the new in-pizza now. A lot of young people like this. Down side; they should have been trained by people who actually made pizzas. There was not enough sauce, cheese or selection no matter how much you asked for. The flavor was off. It tasted like something I can buy boxed at the grocery store frozen section. Will I go back? No. read more

Last night, I ordered on line at 5 PM for pick up at 6. I arrived at 6 and looked around for my products, I had to look on the pick up location and on the table top above the boxing area. So I asked, and got the deer in the headlights look. I waiting figuring it was in the oven. At 6:20 I asked again and the person whom I believe was the manager said, oh here's your ticket and began to make the pizza. I walked out at 6:40 with a pizza I ordered at 5 and was to be ready for pick up at 6.when I got home it was soggy from partially cooked This was the second time (2 out of 2) that this has happened to me at this place. In my book , 2 strikes you're out, so I'm done with this place read more

MOD Pizza - Fast Food Near Me - Cave Creek, Arizona

Companies these days will hire anyone. I just spent nearly an hour waiting for our order thru Uber Eats to have the company cancel it for no reason. I put the order in again and they canceled it again. When I called I spoke to a man who claimed their system was down. He then very sarcastically said his name was "Bill". I'm tired of companies who hire people without an ounce of customer service. I'll be going to Ray's everytime for my Pizza. read more

I really like MOD Pizza. This branch has an issue. In my experience the young lady did not place the sauce near the edges of the pizza. She left about 1 and 1/2 in on the edge all the way around. Then she only placed the goodies in about a 6-in circle and piled them high. I came back a couple days later and watched while I was in line and she continued the same practice. Happily, a different young gentleman made my pizza. He also tried to not get the sauce to the side that I asked him to take it wider. He also did not place the toppings near the edge until I requested that he do that. He was very pleasant. I am posting a picture that a different customer posted on a review. This is not my pizza but it shows the diameter of the toppings in relation to the crust. It shows the one and a half inch perimeter all the way around the edge with no sauce. I don't typically post but this is such a disappointment after the amazing pizzas I had at the MOD Pizza in Kent station in Washington State. There were only three girls working the front. They were killing it. They were a smooth running machine and the experience was great. read more

This was our first time dining at MOD pizza, and we will definitely be back!! Everything was delicious, and service was amazing too!

First time here. Not the best experience. Better pizza locally. Price of $11 bucks a bit over the top. Good luck.

Glad to see Mod Pizza Cave Creek finally open. Good thin crust pizza, same price for any toppings. read more

Don't go in early evening, say like 6pm or later. When they are done with toppings they are done. Lazy prep work.

Once again super satisfied with Mod! I went in last night, kind of late, after a long work day. Employees happily greeted me, and were super friendly. They were a bit short on people, so the girl helping me had to run back and forth to help multiple people, but she was really good at making me feel like I wasn't waiting to be noticed! My pizza was delicious as always and I'm so glad to support this business. read more

First time experience. Bad decision. Worst pizza we've ever had. Would be zero stars rating if possible. Pre-baked dough warmed up in the gas-fired oven made pizza taste three days old. If this is the only way to get the 'superfast' service forget it! Anyone who knows good pizza will likely agree - though we realize good/bad food is entirely subjective. Simply our opinion on MOD Pizza. read more

You get to watch the pizza made, it is so satisfying! Good prices :). They bottled Fanta orange and great beer on tap!

I am so sick of labor being and excuse for everything. There needs to be accountability or simply don't take people's money. Tonight for example we did an online order. 20 minutes was ready time. Walked in 20 minutes later and asked and the pizzas weren't even made. If it's going to be longer then put the quote time longer, but don't add to the quote and make my pizza sit there for 20 minutes and get cold either. If you can't make it happen then don't do online orders. read more

I just called this place to order some pizzas for pick up, not delivery, and they said they're not currently taking orders... I'm trying to figure this out... You're open... To start, there are 7 people working at 3:40pm on a Tuesday. We have visited many Mod Pizza locations and they've ALWAYS been good. We order our usual and look for a table - there are 7 open (good social distancing). EVERY SINGLE OPEN TABLE WAS FILTHY. And the chairs were NASTY, too!!! Not ONE of the people working thought to clean?? I actually had to go over and ask the manager who was taking up a booth (only 2 available) and inform them that every table was dirty. Really? Yes, really. They did clean the tables (not chairs) after I informed them that every single table was disgusting. Our pizza order was complete / ready to eat and I asked for 2 sets of silverware and they had to go look for it in the back- they serve SALADS! How are you supposed to eat them without silverware??? They found ONE SET in the back. Lastly, and most importantly- my daughters cheese pizza wasn't even fully cooked! Seriously?!?! NOT GOOD. I normally would recommend Mod to anyone, but NOT THIS LOCATION. Unreal. Terrible management. read more
