I really wanted to like this place, but after THREE tries, I'm officially done. The quality has gone completely downhill. We paid for toppings... but actually locating them on the pizza was a challenge. Sparse doesn't even begin to describe it. And the cheese? It wasn't melted and gooey like pizza should be. It was literally a thick slab sitting on top, barely integrated with the sauce, and honestly hard to digest. Instead of that perfect cheesy pull, it felt like chewing through a rubbery blanket. What's most frustrating is that we gave them multiple chances. Three separate orders, hoping the first bad experience was just an off day. Somehow, each visit was worse than the last. We sat at the bar. It was mid-afternoon and wasn't busy. We enjoyed the atmosphere. We were a little confused that we weren't offered a lunch menu until after we started asking about the portion sizes due to items on the full menu showing they were for 1-3 people. The lunch menu is smaller and less expensive with smaller portion sizes. We ended up ordering a sandwich and salad from the lunch menu and a larger pasta from the dinner menu. The sandwich came as a half sandwich with a house salad. The pasta was a nice size and included garlic bread. Both were very good. We l had a 10% discount that popped up when we checked in on Yelp. The bartender dismissed it as being old and from a previous owner. She wasn't interested in honoring it. I mentioned contacting Yelp to get it corrected. At first, she dismissed the idea, stating the new owner would have no idea how to do that. I reiterated trying to contact them. She did finally say she would let the owner know. read more

What happened to this place? I got an 18" sausage, mushroom and green pepper and you can barely see any toppings on it. If theres one piece of sausage per slice I 'd be surprised. Have been ordering from this location since it opened. Granted there have been a few changes in ownership but the pizza for the most part has been consistently good. I called to place my order tonight and was informed I HAD to pay with a credit card. They have my phone number in their system, the should have my purchasing history (over 20 years), etc. I informed the girl on the phone I had ordered 2 weeks ago and like always I paid cash when I picked up my food. I tried this place a year or so ago and I wasn't impressed. The food wasn't great and the guy in charge (Who I am assuming was the old owner) seemed bothered to have to "deal with". We had an issue with our food and were dismissed and given attitude by him. I had talked to some friends and it seemed this was common. I was told recently that the place has new ownership, so I decided to try it again. I'll say this. The vibe is different and folks seem to be happy to be there. I didn't get a chance to talk to the new owner because he was busy helping in the kitchen and pretty much running around working. The pizza was better (used to have soggy crust) and it was a very pleasant experience. Tried Rosati's for the first time and they were really solid. My thin pepperoni, black olive & onion pizza was piping hot when I arrived because they keep them in a heated case. Very friendly staff at the counter too! Their thin is not quite as thin as I prefer, but it was well made with fresh ingredients and tasty. read more

I used to love this place! Several months back it went into new ownership and 6 of us went to try it right afterwards. We used to go a couple of times a month. Our visit several months ago was awful. The service slow, food not prepared very well, timing off, no daily specials and prices much higher than before. Tonight, June 29th, we decided to give it another try. Not much has changed. The food was a little better, the place has been updated a little, but the service was awful. They have only 1 waitress for the food and beverage side and 2 for the "to-go" order side. It took forever to order, I had to keep asking for items, food thrown down in front us in a hurry, etc. The order came out incorrect, and she seemed to blame us. We were charged for items after I asked if there was a charge for and told, "no." Our drinks were never refilled, cleaned up the dirty plates ourselves, asked next door for a desert menu, and then she finally came to see us. Someone mentioned that she needed some help to her and she said she did not. She is always alone. Well, I think they do need 2 people so the above experience might not have happened. I questioned 2 charges on the bill, and she rudely told me I was wrong. 2 other adults heard me ask about the pizza toppings but she wasn't listening. I asked for the owner and he had left. We will not try a third time. This place is a bar, not a restaurant and I would not recommend it for families or anyone in a hurry. So sad...we like to support local businesses but will go across the street and you should too. read more

Been going there for years. I heard there was a recent management change. Normally I would be excited about sitting amongst the neighborhood clientele having some libation & good at pizza. I ordered a calzone and a 14 inch pizza and putting a tip that was $50+. I was five minutes early so I sat behind the bar and the waitress asked me if I'd like something. "I said , "i've had some Vino this evening, do you have anything Italian"? She said, "all we have is basic stuff" and points to some bottles of wine 50 feet away, which it was impossible to read the labels. That was rude as hell and I said "never mind". The waitress with the long blonde hair on Friday night could not have been more impolite. There were only five people in the restaurant on Friday night were normally there are 50 . I've never written a bad restaurant review in my life, but this was shocking. It's a neighborhood restaurant that jacked up their prices and treats the people that walk in like crap. I would've ordered a glass of wine to support my local business but the waitress was a jack ass. My sincere apologies for having to write this, but this is strictly from my conscience. Not cool! I have to say I was hesitant to try this Rosati's based on some of the reviews but I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. Having moved here from Chicago, I miss truly "thin crust" pizza. Cave Creek Rosati's has it spot on! I felt like I was in a Chicago Rosati's. Also, Nathan R., our bartender and server, was friendly and attentive. He was serving the bar and the tables and was doing a great job. Love that there are happy hour beer specials as well. We will be back. read more

This was unfortunately a big disappointment. My husband ordered a deep dish pizza and the crust was a regular thickness, very dry and almost like cardboard. The toppings were flavorless. We ordered delivery and ordered and paid for ranch which we did not receive. This was not a good experience. read more

So disappointed. This location is under new ownership and I really wanted to support local business. I have been ordering from this store for a couple years and have a standard order. Pizza, wings, and a salad. Nothing special. Nothing special at all last night. Granted it was the NBA playoffs so it was a busy night. The order came in a reasonable amount of time so service was as always good. The disappointment came when we tasted the food. The new owners must have changed vendors because the crust was like a thick layer of cardboard. The anti pasta salad was a bowl of lettuce and the wings were just bad. Ended up throwing it all away. I understand the learning curve of a new business and will try Rosati's again in Tried again and boy am I glad I did. Two wonder pies, great salad and wings that were perfect.
