If I could give zero stars, I surely would. I went through the drive-through and ordered a number one. Basically, it was a double bacon cheeseburger with french fries and a soda. I got to the window and I was given my soda and was even asked if I wanted ketchup for my meal. I noted this time around, they were pretty quick on handing me the bag, so I drove home, which is not exactly close to this Dairy Queen, approximately 8 miles away. When I did get home, lo and behold, what was in the bag. It wasn't a burger or fries. It was about six ice cream sandwiches. I was quite angry and really didn't want to drive back, but I did. I went inside the store to ask to speak to the manager carrying the bag of ice cream sandwiches. Immediately he said, "oh, you must've been the person that got the ice cream sandwiches by mistake". His demeanor was like he thought it was a laughing manner. It was not at all as I was seriously inconvenienced by driving back down there. I asked him how he would compensate me for my wasted time and gas, and basically he said, "I can give you your money back or if you wait a few minutes, I can make you another burger". Not really the customer service I was expecting. The manager is a male with long hair in a ponytail. You need to learn some customer service skills, the customer is always right, and you guys are the one that made a mistake. We head here once a month or so for lunch. We typically order their $7 chicken combo with 3 chicken pieces, fries, a drink and a sundae. We've always had good luck with this. The staff is friendly and most of the time the food is piping hot. We both think the DQ French fries are by far the best fast food fries. And of course we occasionally stop by for a Blizzard. This review is for the drive thru. It's always fast and efficient. It's the only fast food restaurant in town so it's pretty busy for Cave Creek. It has such a cute small town feel. Would recommend the drive thru for a quick treat. They do have picnic tables outside and seating inside but I rarely eat inside. read more

During my time off of at work decided to go to Dairy Queen where i found one of your workers named Shane Brown, who repeatedly sweared and screamed at me i even believed he called me a racial slur towards my skin color, while i was in the drive through for to long according to him while i was taking my order. Whenever i figured out i wanted a chili cheese dog, it was mushed up and i found spit all over it, these actions better not be repeated or action will be taken further. read more

I like Dairy Queen food and drinks. Stopped here for some Ice cream cones, and Chicken strips with french fries. It was not bad. We have a few of these stores back home. So no. A few of the workers were nice enough but most were not. We took our kids there to get dinner after their game and get ice cream for my youngest daughter's birthday (she was really excited about her gift card). We get there and after we order food they close the dining area so we have to get out and go through drive thru with my older son. They forget his food, mess up my blizzard (Oreo and cookie dough) and then when we say we are missing chicken fingers they make us go through drive thru again!!! Completely unapologetic for messing up my blizzard, never offered or fixed it, and by the time my son got through drive thru again we were done. So it's was about 945 pm on a week day night. Was up in scottsdale for the evening. Had a pretty stressful night due to gate security at my friends house. My BMW was not allowed inside of the gated community. Because of its obnoxious flame tune and ethanol injection tuning so in hopes to lighten my night up I decided to come to this location. And let me tell you this was the best location I have ever been to. Was met with a beautiful cashier who took my order and I got my food in a fast manner. The food was amazing. Floors and bathroom were super clean. I have stopped by several times over the last few months. I applaud the staff. They are always upbeat, fast and friendly. I bought a birthday cake in August. It was a huge hit. Everyone loved it and asked where they could buy one. This fast food shop has been a life saver for Cave Creek. I like the convenience of the drive through when I have dogs in the car. read more

Ice cream is good, food is acceptable, the place is run by a few kids I guess that is expected at a dairy queen.

Do not trust the takeout because they make more mistakes than not. But the worst part is that they don't provide decent customer service when they make mistakes. Joann claims to be the manager and is very rude to customers. This happens a lot. Cave creek is sort of a small town, and people talk. I hope the owners fix it. read more

Ordered 2 small cones on the first visit by the time I got to the drive up window the cones had been sitting there for probably five minutes and they were dripping all over the counter.
