Today I was tasked with picking up lunch for a crew that was working near this location. They requested Burger King and a sports drink for the electrolytes, it was a blazing 116 degree AZ summer day. I mapped this place only to arrive and finding it inside of Walmart. I honestly thought great this is going to take forever. The young man who helped me understood the assignment, I needed 8 whopper combo meals and nuggets to go, each combo with nuggets in its own bag with napkins and condiments , making it easy for the crew to grab their own bag and find some shade to eat. While I filled up the to go cups with Powerade .. he and one crew member cooked all the food and bagged it all up exactly like I asked. It totally made my morning.. the crew was happy, I was on time to the jobsite and everything arrived hot (except the Powerade was ice cold!!) . I needed a quick sandwich between appointments. It wasn't obvious to me when I asked for directions that this was inside the Walmart. Since I needed a few sundries it was a good option. The restaurant was clean and there is a lot of seating. Service at the counter is slow, but there are kiosks for placing orders along the wall. The rest of the team was hustling and there was not much of a wait for my classic chicken sandwich. I was able to have a sit-down lunch, pick up a few items in the store and get out in 30 minutes. This BK deserves zero stars. The local owner is by far the epitome of greed. Over $8.59 plus tax for am impossible whopper. No fries or drink (or even cheese on the burger) mind you. Just a patty on a bun. It's absurd. Chilis can do an entire combo meal with a starter and burger and side item and soda for $10.99. And Chilis had to have 18+ employees to prepare and serve the food since it's full service. These cheap idiots have literally 2 workers on staff at BK, and they have a small space. The overhead and labor is a fraction of a real restaurant yet this jersey of an owner feels the need to rip us off with ridiculous prices on all burgers. Let's not support this fool! read more

The original food concession at Walmart's was a Mickey Ds, but they pulled out a few years back. Now granted we're still in a middle of a pandemic, but the food has always been hit or miss, no matter which vendor was servicing this space. But today was a good day. All employees were gloved up and masked, while the wait time was short. Order accuracy was also on the mark and I actually had a pleasant conversation with the folks behind the counter. I should preface this by saying that I am a vegetarian, so I rarely eat at Burger King or similar food places. But after all the hype I decided to try the Impossible Burger due to Coronavirus lockdown and so limited food options during this Pandemic. I do appreciate that their drive through was open at a time when our food options are limited. I ordered the Impossible Burger with no cheese and fries. When I got back home I removed the bun as I cannot have gluten and ate the vegetarian burger with a lettuce wrap. The taste was strangely pretty good, I don't eat a lot of veggie burgers. It had a char grilled aroma and taste. My only real dislike was as I chewed the burger U noticed that my tongue felt like it had a film or thin coating of a fatty substance. I don't know if this is common to veggie burgers or just my pickiness. The French fries were pretty good but I do prefer thinner more crispy French fries. I think the Impossible Burger is a good choice if you are looking for a quick affordable vegetarian option and you might be new to veggie burgers or you really like veggie burgers in general. I'm glad I tried it so I know what it tastes like and again, I really appreciate that Burger King has provided this vegetarian option and that they have remained open for drive through!! Kenzie absolutely HATES Burger King. My other kids love it though!!Kenzie would like to add that when she asked the worker at the register where the bathroom was he rolled his eyes and pointed to the bathroom. He then remarked "use your eyes" Kenzie was mid-mourning when I came in to help her in the bathroom. I called the manager and when he refused to speak to me I threw napkins at him and we left. This was the worst experience ever. The two young kids that were working there and one older man thought it was funny to put my ice cold french fries back in the holding fry dish. I brought my french fries up and asked if I could get fresh fries because mine were super cold and they just put them right back in the holding tray, when I brought it to their attention that I seen what they were doing, they just laughed. When I mentioned the health department, they both just shrug their shoulders. And the older gentleman said he was sorry. Really how disgusting. How many people have brought their fries up there and they put them back in the holding tray and one of us got somebody else's old fries that they touched. Seriously the health department needs to know. The restaurant itself was pretty clean other than some stuff on most tables. I will never return management. Won't take gift cards. I've been coming here for years, and a few month ago they claimed they could not take BK gift cards because their pad wasn't working. After a few months one of the employees admitted that in reality, the franchisee just doesn't want to take them any more. I suspect that BK corporate takes a big piece of each sale. Since so many Burger Kings have closed in our area we have needed to go to this one in Wal-Mart -- unfortunately. Burger King is one of the few burger places that we can get food that does not have any pepper in it. (Allergy) This has been a disaster. The breakfasts are served only between 8:30 and 11:00 am. Even if you are in line before 11:00 am and get to the window two minutes later they will not make a breakfast croissant. Frequently the double croissants are very shy on the bacon -- almost no bacon. They definitely are not double croissants. Frequently they are closed when they should be open. We need to travel about 5 miles to get there and this is very frustrating. A phone call resulted in a person telling us they do not have the staff to cover their posted hours if someone is sick. When we do go we order a lot of the items to refrigerate for later use. Generally there is a "We do not care about the customer," attitude. Sad. We do not know how Burger King can survive with this attitude. The one we had on Thunderbird and Scottsdale Roads was amazing. It seemed always busy when we went. We cannot understand why this one closed down and the one in Wal-mart is such a disaster. read more

I came by today to pick up an order and I'm not really one for leaving reviews but Jose at Northsight Blvd locations busts his a$$! There was a little bit of a line, obviously busy and steady pace of customers are still coming & going- honestly thought at first he was the only one and he did have a cook in the back, but being just two people- wow. He was very well kept- very organized and efficient. Was obviously not his first rodeo. It's hot as hell in AZ, he was running around and still was not sweating it!!! Don't expect much from a fast food restaurant. The people working there probably don't get paid as much as your standard requires. Just take your food and enjoy it. If they get your order wrong just ask them to fix it, it's just a tad bit sad that people get ticked off at the slightest things. read more
