An older female employee with glasses and pink/purple hair abruptly addressed me in what I perceived as an aggressive, condescending tone, repeatedly asking, "How can I help you?" "What's your name?" and demanding to see identification before I could retrieve my order. It wasn't necessarily what she was asking, but the manner in which she chose to address me. Her tone was unnecessarily confrontational, especially considering I was simply a paying customer attempting to collect an order. She repeated herself several times, loudly enough that another customer waiting to order witnessed the entire interaction. Fortunately, another employee approached, politely apologized, and asked how he could assist me. I provided my name, Preston, and he immediately retrieved my order from behind the counter without any issues. The contrast between these two employees was striking. One made a routine pickup feel hostile and uncomfortable, while the other resolved the situation in seconds with basic courtesy and professionalism. I understand the importance of verifying orders, but customer service should never make someone feel as though they're doing something wrong simply by entering an establishment to pick up food they've already purchased.
