I'm a snowbird so In-N-Outs are not available to me until I'm out West. I hear constantly how great they are from different personalities on TV and radio. Personally I'm not a fan, I keep trying different locations to see if it's the location but so far they all have the same flaw. They are too busy. If you use the drive thru your food will be cold by the time you pick it up. I'd say it's usually 20-25 minutes from when you place your order till you pick it up. For some reason it is barely warm and their fries are awful and cold. Cold fries suck. McDonalds still has the best fries. I've tried going in and ordering with the same results. I'm wondering if the cold ingredients put on top of the burger is what cools it so quickly? I see most reviews are high and I don't know why and someone said it was fast it certainly isn't fast. Went to the In-N-Out again food was right on the money always good perfect melted cheese. I got my double double animal style was very good. The service was prompt and got my food in a timely matter. The parking here is an absolute joke. You have people trying to enter the line at all angles. It's pretty frustrating to be in line and waiting, cars deep, and then the employees let people start entering at a different spot?! To clarify, there was no wrong-doing of the staff at this location. I decided to try In-N-Out Burger for the first time. I have driven by the place numerous times and the line is always around the corner! After trying it for the first time, I now understand why the line is so long. It's basically McDonald's with fresh lettuce, pickles, and tomatoes! The burgers are preformed, thin flat patties , just like McDonald's. The meat is so thin that you can barely taste it because the toppings are so much thicker. I ordered the double double with everything on it and I substituted the vanilla shake for the soda. I didn't know I was gonna get a baby Shake! I was very unimpressed. The only reason I gave them two stars instead of one is because their toppings are fresh, which puts McDonald's to shame. I have to tell you that I am out on In-N-Out Burger. read more

This one in Desert Ridge is nice and extremely busy-nice to see they have a lot of jobs for the younger folks entering the workforce. Was in Scottsdale for a wedding and couldn't resist getting In-N-Out not just once, but TWICE. Came here for a late night run as well as a regular dinner run via drive-thru. This is my local In in-N-Out Burger, the food here is consistently good. The service however can be hit or miss. The staff are always friendly but the wait times in the drive thru area can be excessively long. I feel they really need more staff working at this location and the interior of this In-N-Out Burger need to be cleaned far more often. Every time I go in the tables and countertops are dirty.
