Food and service were fine but I'm dismayed enough by the use of single plastic cups and utensils that I won't be back until this changes.

I used to really like this pizza and would go probably twice a month, but the quality has deteriorated quite a bit. The last few times I've gone to pick up at my scheduled time, the pizza has been luke warm, soggy, and undercooked. If a salad is ordered, I would find that luke warm, soggy, and lacking is dressing (usually only a quarter full). I am sorry to say that this place is not much better than the pizza I had in middle school. read more

My son has been wanting to go to Mod Pizza after hearing from friends how great it was. We were not disappointed. First I noticed how clean it was and we were greeted by everyone that worked there. This was very refreshing. A few of the employees asked if it was our first time, our confused looks were probably a good indicator, they proceeded to explain the sizes, the menu choices, or build your own pizza's. My son had the Canadian bacon, sausage and green pepper, while I had a modified Olivia. 10 minutes later we were enjoying our first bites of Mod Pizza with a San Pellegrino. As we left everyone lifted there voices to thank us for coming. The customer service alone would have me retuning. The wonderful pizza will have me inviting friends to join us next time. read more

We just had the most delightful experience at Mod Pizza! Our two grandchildren aged 5 and 7! They like their cheese pizza and are very particular. They have a new favorite Pizza place. This was my first visit to a MOD Pizza and given the fast food environment and the price I didn't have high expectations. I was pleasantly surprised! They were busy when I went but the line moved quickly. When I reached the counter they asked if I had been there before and quickly explained the ordering process. The staff were polite and patient. I opted to have the mini which is a 6" pizza with unlimited toppings. The pizza was amazing! I loved it. Another huge plus for me was the fountain drinks. I can't believe all the five star reviews on here. MOD is mediocre at best. Yes there are all sorts of toppings, yes you can choose as many as you want, but the crust is totally bland and the cheese is super low quality so I don't really care what you put on it, it is not very good. Even when the line is long, it only takes about 15 minutes from the time you order to when your pizza is done. I like the pizza, and most of the staff are fine. But they are so young and some seem so immature and into themselves and their party atmosphere that they forget why they are working: to serve the customer. Recently the kids were in their usual mode, hugging each other and jumping around, flirting while I waited, watching my pizza sitting on the counter getting cold. Wow! This place is awesome! I've been coming to this location at least once a week and I have to say I have never had a bad experience here. The people that work here remember me and what I order. I love Mod. So great that there is one now here in Bellingham. It's a great set up. Flat fee for what you want with as many toppings and sauces you want. Salads and pizzas. They have beer, wine and milkshakes too. The only drawback I have with them is the crust could have more flavor. It's cracker like. I know it's thin crust and that is hard, but I have had some other things crust style with more flavor. Mod is great! read more

Decent pizza, not good service. I would recommend never placing an internet order. My order is messed up probably 75% of the time if I order online. Either they forget it all together, or only make part of the order, or mix it up with someone else. I get that things happen, but I've never even got an apology on any of the five or six messed up orders I've had. They gave me a card for a free pizza one time when my order was "lost" in the computer, whatever that means. But I had already paid for it, so that wasn't much of a gesture. My kids love the pizza or I wouldn't eat there at all, and bypassing the line keeps motivating me to try ordering online. But if you can avoid it, save yourself the headache. read more

Atmosphere is great, the food was expensive for what you actually get. The pizza to me is the equivalent as to what they serve In middle school cafeteria. I think this is fine dining for children and an experience they won't forget. Have been coming here since they opened, but haven't been in for 4-5 months. Things seemed to be going downhill. Staff behind the counter is less personal, and rushed our party of 4 through the line. The toppings you request used to be labeled, but no longer. Most bothersome is that they seem to really be getting tight-fisted on the ingredients. The pizza crust was more like a big saltine cracker (they offer a thicker crust for extra). Each request for a topping was met with a mere sprinkle, including the all-important mozzarella cheese, resulting in a very sparsely topped pie for each of the 4 in our party. Stellar service and great pizza! Whoever works the lunch rush on Tuesdays does a fantastic job. She greats customers as they enter, takes orders while making small talk, learns peoples names after a few visits, and says goodbye to everyone by name as they leave - even when it's crazy busy. Color me impressed! The pizza tastes great and it's definitely quick enough to eat on a lunch break if you get more than half an hour. The restaurant is very clean with a wide variety of seating. Music is always very loud so don't plan on having any lunch meetings here if you don't want to yell. I still wouldn't change that since the whole place has a high-energy vibe and the music fits. Went on a Sat evening, big mistake, it was slammed with a very large line...I don't do lines, it's Bellingham, Instead, we just ordered online and it came fairly quickly. I got the Jasper and added artichokes and olives. The pizza was really good. The blackberry lemonade was awesome and the crushed ice a very nice touch. The employees seemed to keep up quite well and were good spirited for being as busy as it was. Will definitely go again at a more slow time so I can order the pizza myself. read more
