Approached restaurant after leaving Lowes, didn't see A&W rootbeer signage on side of building so drove around parking lot, at night, only to realize it's part of KFC. The young guy taking orders was extremely helpful. One of the only chain restaurants know of that all has hotdogs. Got that, chili cheese fries, and mashed taters. Restaurant is like any fast food restaurant, this one is extremely clean and inside is well lit. Outside is generally dark and parking is limited. Will be back, the gravy is the shizzit read more

Painfully slow! Wrong food given on more than one occasion. Ask for extra honey, no butter and you get a couple of each. Last time I went there was a 45 minute wait and I received THE WRONG FOOD. When you work at a chicken restaurant you should know the difference between a thigh and a breast!!! read more

Fast food is fast food. But the restaurant was clean and the staff were nice. I'd come back to this location again.

Dropped in for the KFC Spicy Chicken Sandwich as seen advertised on TV! The drive-up service is appreciated during these "times" as the lineup shows. The size of this item is amazing & the freshness is notable with the crusty chicken breading. Was concerned it may be too "hot" but it isn't, just spicy & tasty! I did add abit of mayo to suit me. read more

A&W Restaurant - KFC "Spicy Chicken Sandwich"! - Fast Food Near Me - Bellingham, Washington

Late afternoon - needed a sugar dose to keep me going as I continued the Northward march to the Canadian border and beyond. What better way to get some sugar than a delicious, yummy, refreshing Root Beer Float?! Have not had one of these in years! Totally hit the spot! read more

Dirty tables, 2 wrong orders, lack if care, associates loud and rude, more like being at a frat house (I get it its a retail fast food but loud an obnoxious is still inherently annoying) and worst if all the food prep would take cash register orders and then go back to making food orders without washing his hands or putting on gloves. I hope the owner of this franchise reads yelp. read more

Stop by here few times a year. Girlfriend always nags me about the pain I will go through after eating, but being a man I refuse to listen. Always, and I mean always gives me the shits. Talking on the bowl 11-12 hours with tears of pain running down my cheeks kinda shit. Avoid them. Don't be me. Avoid them read more

The food was as good as fast foods go, and the people were nice. I felt bad for the workers who had to deal with the crazy old lady who was getting butthurt that they were taking too long to make her eight pot pies that she was probably going to go home and eat all in one sitting. They handled her better than I would have. read more

Ouch this location can be a disaster at times. On my most recent visit there was no leadership, no organization and one staff member was clearly just not interested in working which brought down the entire team. My order was wrong (Was served a mashed potato bowl vs a rice bowl) and when the order was corrected the rice was not fully cooked. The location is mixed with a KFC which could also create additional stress for the kitchen. A previous visit was decent which is why the star rating is not less and a cashier did provide great service and it was clear she was trying her best and acknowledged by her actions she knew how bad things were. With more training and some staff adjustments this location has potential... The cheese curds though were fantastic... read more

I went through the drive through. The service was quick and friendly. The food was what you'd expect, but the fries were probably better 30 minutes before I got them. They also messed my order up a little, but good try. read more

This location is by far the worst KFC/a&w I have seen. The KFC food is usually typical here, nothing exciting. However the a&w part is just disgusting and awful. Burgers are usually terribly made and flattened. The fries always taste like shit because they probably sit out long. Staff act like douche bags and service is usually slow. Not to mention they took away the root beer tap and cold mugs. That use to be a nice touch but of course they want to cut costs. Spend your money somewhere else. read more

Of course you can't screw up a Root beer float, so that was good. The French fries.. Worst I've ever had.

If i could give zero stars i would. The woman at the drive through was extremely rude, then was even worse when she found out she heard me wrong. The manager that gave me the refund had the same nasty attitude. They still didnt give me my mashed potato instead of coleslaw. Will never come here again. read more

Epic fail. We stopped in to get a root beer and a snack. Only three people in line ahead of us. No one was being helped and we noticed that none of the workers made eye contact with any of us in the ever-growing line. Finally the first person in line got his huge order and the next two people were waited on. Then our turn? Nope. Without a word to us the counter person turned away to help someone on the line to bag up food. Then an angry customer from the drive thru jumped up to the counter because her order was wrong. Just wait..It gets better. At this point we were kind of joking with each other about how long this has taken (25 minutes) and it's our turn! Get this: they were out of root beer. So we, along with the rest of the line, left. read more

Second of three places we ate at while in Bellingham. Always was an A&W fan!

Maybe it was early in the day for them, but the service was pretty slow and the quality of food was meh. At least for passing through to/from Sumas, I'll hunt out food elsewhere. read more

This restaurant is dingy and dirty the stools teeter totter making you feel as if your going to fall. The staff informed the customers there was going to be a 17 minute wait on the chicken and to top it all off. the attitude was making it seem it was the customers fault more than their own. This restaurant needs a serious improvement and I thinks I might avoid future interactions. read more

Filthy tables, got the Coney dog order wrong and there was something hard in my burger. Almost broke a tooth.

I ordered a burger & fries combo and some of the apple pies. Pies were screaming hot (awesome), fries were fresh (bonus!) but the burger was stone cold. Huh? I got it to go, so I didn't notice it until I was half-way across town and on my way to a meeting or I would have turned around. read more

We went here because it's fast food, but were horribly disappointed. It took us a very long time to get our food - and we only ordered 3 items (A burger, fries, and corn dog bites). People who had ordered after us were done eating and leaving when we received our food. We will never eat here again. read more

Absolutely disgusting. Haven't had that bad of service from anywhere in a very long time. The girl who took my order was extremely rude and made me feel like I was taking up her time. That was nothing compared to what I received for my meal after 15 minutes waiting with 2 people that ordered ahead of me. I finally asked if my food was still coming out and she said, "of course it is coming out." Then, upon a closer look I was shocked; the floors in the back kitchen was horrifying... There was chicken scattered all over the floors as well as vegetables and bread, almost as if they were just throwing food around. I finally receive my food and I leave to go back to work. I open up the sandwich and find that it is completely smushed, (somebody took there palm and pressed down on the sandwich) cold, mayonnaise was smothered on the outside of the bun along with one pickle on top of the smothered mayonnaise. I ate a fry and that was also cold and not to mention half were raw and the other half were so hard I almost chipped my tooth biting into it. I then took my food back to the store to show them what kind of disgusting food they had served me and they were mostly quiet and called a shift supervisor over to get me a refund which they did. He then asked if I wanted a free food voucher for next time and I obviously declined. Lastly, this place is half A&W half KFC... So don't trust either of them. Do not ever eat here under any circumstances, unhealthy and unsanitary conditions, disgusting "food" and no sense of customer service. read more

Very disappointed, my husband just came back from picking up dinner at the drive-thru only to discover they did not give him his complete order. This isn't the first time it has happened to us, I now always check the order before I leave the drive up window, but my husband has now vowed to never return. With the number of times our order has been screwed up, I'm sure there are many others this has happened to as well. There needs to be some sort of quality control at the drive up window. We are not ones to complain, but this was the final straw. read more
